Cooking kefir jellied pie with minced meat

Pie with minced meat and potatoes is prepared quickly and does not require expensive ingredients. The baked goods turn out juicy and tasty.

To make the jellied dough you will need:

  • 450 ml kefir;
  • a small spoon of salt;
  • 3 eggs;
  • 2.5 cups flour;
  • 2 large spoons of oil;
  • teaspoon of soda.

To prepare the filling you will need:

  • 400 grams of meat (it’s better to take it not too fatty);
  • 3-4 onions;
  • 3 medium sized potatoes;
  • 1 carrot;
  • 5 tablespoons of oil (vegetable oil is used).

If you want to make homemade baked goods, but don’t want to bother with yeast dough, you can make a jellied pie.

It is made quite simply - from the products specified in the recipe, the filling is mixed, which needs to be poured over the filling.

You can prepare such a batter not only with kefir, but also with other products, for example, sour cream, mayonnaise or a mixture of them.

Such pies can be filled with any filling - cottage cheese, meat, fruit, vegetable, mushroom, and so on.

The main thing is to show your imagination and make the dish strictly according to the recipe.

Particularly tasty is a pie made from minced meat and potatoes, which many housewives call “lazy”.

You can serve it with tea after a meal, as well as for lunch or dinner, since the baked goods are quite filling.

Preparing the filling:

The first thing you should do is prepare the filling. We defrost the meat, wash it, and then grind it in a food processor or meat grinder.

After this, fry the mixture for 5 minutes (don’t forget to add salt and a little oil).

Spices are added to the roast as desired.

As soon as the minced meat is completely cooked and has cooled slightly, it should be passed through the meat grinder again so that the mass is homogeneous.

You can prepare the filling in another, easier way - cut the meat into small cubes and fry with spices and salt, then grind in a meat grinder. In this case, it turns out a little fattier.

Peel the potatoes, wash them and cut them into thin slices - their width should be no more than 2 mm.

Grate the carrots and cut the onion into cubes.

Place the prepared tubers in boiling slightly salted water for a couple of minutes, then take them out and dry them.

Place onions and carrots in a frying pan, fry for a couple of minutes, then add herbs and a little water if desired. Divide the softened vegetables into two parts - mix one with meat and the other with potatoes.

Pour kefir into a small container, add baking soda, mix and leave for about 5 minutes.

Then add all the ingredients in the recipe to the mixture, except flour. It is added last - the mixture must be constantly stirred with a spoon. As a result, the mass should be similar to the consistency of thick sour cream.

Bakery:

The baking dish is coated with oil and the bottom is lightly sprinkled with flour. Pour in 1/3 of the dough and lightly level it with a spoon.

Then place the potato pieces (half), pour in half of the remaining filling, put the minced meat on it and pour the dough over it again. The top layer is laid out with potatoes.

Cooking a pie with minced meat and potatoes takes 45 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees. To ensure that the dish has a beautiful crust, you can turn on only the top burner at the end of cooking.

As soon as the pie begins to cool a little, remove it from the mold and decorate with herbs.
