  4. Wrap everything in film, press it down with a flat heavy object, put it in the refrigerator for 4 hours, or overnight.
  5. Use a serrated knife to trim off any excess pita bread and shape the resulting piece into a square shape.
  6. Cut the resulting square into 6-7 strips, make them into squares. Before serving, pierce each mini-sandwich with a toothpick and garnish with dill.

  3. Dry the goose with paper towels. It is advisable to place it in the refrigerator to dry overnight. But it’s not necessary - you can fry it right away.
  4. Season the bird with salt and pepper, inside and out.
  5. Push dried fruits and small sour apples into the belly (leave the remaining apples and dried fruits for the end of frying).
  6. Place in an oven preheated to 200 degrees.
  7. Pour half a bottle of red wine and fry the goose, basting with juice from time to time.
  8. After about an hour, add the rest of the fruit to the tray and add more wine.
  9. 15 minutes before the end of frying, brush the goose with the apricot-honey glaze.

Jamie Oliver's Fried Chicken

Jamie Oliver is one of the most famous chefs and television personalities in the world. He offered his recipe for oven-baked chicken.

Ingredients (for 8 servings):

  • 2 chickens
  • sea ​​salt and ground black pepper
  • 4 kg potatoes
  • 2 lemons or 3 limes
  • 2 heads of garlic
  • thyme, rosemary
  • olive oil
  1. Season the chicken with salt and black pepper, wrap in cling film and place in the refrigerator.
  2. Cut the potatoes into 4 parts. Separate the garlic into cloves.
  3. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees.
  4. Place the potatoes, lemon and garlic in a pan with plenty of boiling salted water and cook for 12 minutes.

  7. Add lemon, garlic and thyme to the chicken, then place it in a deep baking tray and cook in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
  8. Transfer chicken to a plate. Place the potatoes and rosemary leaves on a baking sheet and toss to combine. Make a well in the center and place the chicken in it. Cook for another 45 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the potatoes are lightly browned.
  9. When the chicken is done, remove the lemon and garlic. Peel the garlic, mash and rub the chicken with it, remove the rosemary leaves.

Ham with honey and mustard

Pork prepared in this way is a real homemade ham, which can be served either cold as a snack or hot, adding a side dish of vegetables and mustard sauce.

Ingredients (for 8 servings):

  • 5–5.5 kg pork ham
  • 2–2.5 onions
  • 2 carrots
  • 2.5 egg yolks
  • 2.5 tbsp. l. honey
  • 1.5 tbsp. l. espresso
  • 6.5 tbsp. l. Dijon mustard
  • cloves and salt to taste
  1. Place the ham overnight in a large saucepan with salted water (150 g per 4 liters of water).
  2. Preheat the oven to 120–150 degrees. Peel the bulbs and stick a few cloves into each. Place the ham in the pan, place the onion and whole peeled carrots next to it.
  3. Pour water so that it covers the vegetables. Bake at 120 degrees for about 2 hours. Or, if you have a food thermometer, until the internal temperature of the meat reaches 75 degrees. Remove from oven and cool.
  4. Separate the whites from the yolks. Whisk the yolks with honey, chilled espresso and mustard. Increase the oven temperature to 230 degrees. Transfer the ham from the broth to a baking sheet with a wire rack and coat the ham with the glaze.
  5. 60 g butter

    1. Remove eggs, butter and milk from the refrigerator in advance to warm them up.
    2. Mix flour, baking powder, spices and salt. In another bowl, beat sugar and butter, add eggs, honey, milk and soda, mix.

    4. Grease a cake pan with butter and sprinkle with flour. Pour the dough and place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 40–45 minutes.
    5. The finished cake can be topped with glaze: add 3-4 tbsp. l. powdered sugar, add a few drops of lemon juice and mix. The mass should be thick and opaque.

  • one apple;
  • one banana;
  • one mango;
  • one bunch of cold mint;
  • some fruit yoghurt (amount to suit your taste);
  • a little lemon juice (amount to your taste).
Cooking:
First, remove the core from the apple. Please note that there is no need to peel the peel. The apple is cut into small cubes. Immediately pour some lemon juice over the sliced ​​apple. If you don't do this, it will darken. As for the rest of the fruits, they are also cut into cubes. All fruits are filled with yogurt. Pay special attention to presentation. This salad is best served in small transparent vases or bowls. If there are none, just use small glasses or glasses. Before serving, chill the salad in the refrigerator and garnish with a mint leaf.

Dish 2: vegetarian Caesar

The final stages of preparation: tear the iceberg lettuce with your hands and cut the tomatoes in half. If the tomatoes are large, it is better to cut them into cubes. Season the fried cheese and vegetables with the prepared sauce and mix thoroughly. Add crackers just before serving. It is also advisable to sprinkle the finished salad with Parmesan cheese.

Surely you know several recipes for snacks made from this vegetable. It is difficult to spoil eggplant: appetizers made from it are tasty, aromatic and, moreover, very appropriate on the holiday table. As an option - with garlic and cilantro.

What you will need:

  • four fresh eggplants;
  • four tomatoes;
  • four cloves of garlic;
  • one onion;
  • one bunch of cilantro;
  • three tablespoons of vinegar;
  • four tablespoons of olive oil;

Cooking:
We start by frying four whole eggplants over a fire (necessarily open). Fry until the peel turns black. The easiest way to do this is using a gas burner, using a special grill grate.

Next, let the eggplants cool. After this, carefully cut them lengthwise, pulling out the pulp with a spoon. Tomatoes are processed simply: remove the skin from them, then finely chop them. Mix the tomato pulp with the eggplant, add thinly sliced ​​onion, garlic (pre-chopped) and a little cilantro. The appetizer is seasoned with a small amount of oil and vinegar. What you will need:
  • four pieces of chicken fillet;
  • four tomatoes;
  • three pieces of sweet pepper;
  • two bows;
  • about one hundred grams of cheese;
  • several cloves of garlic;
  • one cube of chicken broth;
  • half a glass of water;
  • half a glass of cream;
  • two tablespoons of olive oil and butter;
  • one teaspoon of Italian herbs;
  • a little salt and pepper to your taste.
Cooking:
First, salt and pepper the chicken fillet to taste. Next, the chicken is fried until it turns golden. Fry in a mixture of butter and olive oil. We prepare the dishes in which we will bake, transfer the fried fillet there. Prepare the onion: cut it into rings and also fry using the same oil. Add onion to chicken.

For the sauce we will need: garlic, tomatoes, half a glass of water, the indicated seasonings and cream. This sauce is cooked for about five minutes, after which we pour it over the vegetables and chicken in a baking dish. Place the pan in the oven covered with foil only. Chicken Picasso takes about thirty minutes to prepare. The oven temperature is two hundred degrees. Next, remove the foil and sprinkle the chicken with cheese, previously grated on a coarse grater. Let the chicken sit for another fifteen minutes, and bon appetit!

Dish 6: pasta with salmon

Gourmet guests will definitely appreciate it. Moreover, the most common option for hot food on the holiday table is a tandem of a meat dish with mashed potatoes or simply boiled potatoes. Let's try to surprise.

What you will need:

  • about two hundred grams of salmon;
  • about two hundred grams of paste;
  • about one hundred and fifty grams of heavy cream;
  • one tablespoon of olive oil;
  • about forty grams of butter;
  • three cloves of garlic;
  • one bunch of greens.
Cooking:
First, boil the pasta according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Don't forget to add a little olive oil to the pasta. The salmon is cut into fairly large pieces, after which it is fried in butter for about ten minutes. Pour the specified amount of heavy cream into the pan with the salmon and bring to a boil, then let it cook for another couple of minutes. Don't forget to add some chopped garlic and herbs. Done - the sauce can be combined with the pasta. Let's note the preparation time: you will need no more than half an hour for a tasty and original dish. When serving, do not forget to sprinkle the pasta with salmon with pre-grated cheese.

Another simple, yet unique dish. His secret is choosing the right bananas. If you buy the fruit poorly, the taste will be disappointing, so pay special attention to this. It is best to choose a dessert variety of bananas. It is not difficult to identify them: as a rule, the size of such a fruit does not exceed twelve centimeters. Banana peels should be bright. At the same time, do not be afraid of a small number of dark spots, this indicates the ripeness of the banana.

What you will need:

  • one ripe banana;
  • fifty grams of chocolate pieces;
  • some confectionery sprinkles to your taste;
  • some coconut flakes;
  • nuts (optional).
We start cooking with the glaze. Here you need to be as careful as possible: the glaze should not be bitter, otherwise the dessert will be hopelessly spoiled. You can choose any chocolate for the glaze. You can buy both milk and dark chocolate - it will be more varied. We break the tiles into small pieces, and then melt them using a water bath.
