  • 2 tablespoons wheat flour;
  • pepper, salt, basil, parsley, dill;
  • sunflower oil for frying.

How to make nuggets at home from minced meat? Wash the fillet, dry it and cut into pieces. Grind in a meat grinder or blender until smooth, so that you get small pieces. Salt, pepper, add other spices to taste. Beat eggs with salt in one bowl, add flour to another.

Heat sunflower oil in a frying pan. Form small balls or cutlets, dip them in the egg, then in wheat flour, again in the egg and in breadcrumbs (or dried bread crumbs).

Place them in a frying pan and fry until crispy on both sides. After frying, place on a paper towel to dry from excess oil.

Nuggets with mushrooms

In addition to chicken fillet (1 kilogram), to prepare this dish you will need:

  • 150 g of any raw mushrooms;
  • 150 milliliters of vegetable oil for frying;
  • a little butter for sautéing;
  • Wheat flour;
  • 100 g breadcrumbs;
  • 2 eggs;
  • olive oil, salt, 2 cloves of garlic, pepper and mayonnaise (for marinade).

Cut the meat into pieces of approximately 4x4 centimeters, lightly beat with a hammer, coat with a marinade of olive oil, mayonnaise, garlic and spices. Finely chop the mushrooms and onions and sauté them in butter.

How to make chicken nuggets at home


  1. Chicken fillet, cleaned of fat and films, cut into large pieces. The ideal size is approximately 2x3 cm. Do not cut too small so that the taste of the meat is not lost. But huge pieces won’t do either - the breast inside simply won’t have time to fry, while the breading will already begin to burn.

  2. I prepare 3 separate containers for breading the nuggets. The first is wheat flour mixed with salt, pepper and dried garlic. The second is chicken eggs, scrambled with a fork. The third is breadcrumbs, best homemade, medium grind. By the way, the calorie content of the dish can be reduced if you use corn flour rather than wheat (it will have virtually no effect on the taste).

  3. Now you need to bread the chicken fillet so that a thick crust forms around the meat, which will prevent it from drying out when frying. First, I roll each piece in the flour mixture, then dip it in the egg and bread it again - in breadcrumbs.

  4. I bread all the fillet pieces in the same way. If there are excess crackers on the surface, I carefully remove them so that they do not burn in the oil. By the way, at this stage you can freeze the chicken nuggets - put them in the freezer directly with the board for about 1 hour, and then put everything in a bag for long-term storage. The preparation will be at hand at any time, all that remains is to deep-fry the nuggets.

  5. Now comes the most important moment - frying. Before deep-frying homemade nuggets, I heat a saucepan with refined oil to a boil. If you don’t have a saucepan, any narrow and tall saucepan will do (less fat will be used). As soon as the oil warms up, I put chicken pieces into it - in small portions, 6-7 pieces each, so that the nuggets fry evenly.

  6. I cook over low heat, without a lid, until the crust is golden brown - about 3-4 minutes on each side, so that the breast inside has time to cook. Chicken nuggets should be evenly golden, the meat inside should remain juicy, and the batter should increase in size by about 2-3 times. I place them on paper napkins to remove excess fat.

The dish is best served with fresh vegetables and any sweet and sour sauce; barbecue is great.
