I use poultry meat very often in cooking. Of course, it’s mostly chicken, but recently our local producers opened a shop with turkey meat, and you don’t have to buy the whole carcass. You can prepare many dishes from turkey, but the most ordinary cutlets are especially tasty.

I usually take a piece of breast, from which I get 500 grams of minced meat (you can also buy ready-made minced meat). We will also need to add two raw potatoes and a small onion, and, of course, salt and spices.

We separate the meat from the bones, grind it with onions through a meat grinder, and it is better to grate the potatoes on a fine grater and add them to the minced meat. Garlic lovers can also squeeze a couple of cloves through a press, but I usually don’t add garlic to poultry cutlets, I prefer a more natural taste.

Add salt and pepper, mix everything, and then pour in another half a glass of water. You should not put eggs in this minced meat, otherwise the cutlets will be too dry.

After the minced meat has been mixed with water, it must be beaten: take the minced meat and throw it in until it becomes fluffy and homogeneous.

With wet hands, form cutlets, place them on a cutting board or large plate and place in the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes.

There is no need to bread the cutlets before frying; just put them in hot oil and let them fry quickly on both sides until golden brown.
