We will need:

  • Eggs 2 pcs.
  • Prunes 270 g
  • Crab sticks 220 g (can be replaced with shrimp).
  • Cheese 300 gr.
  • Walnuts 100 gr.
  • Greens, mayonnaise.

Boil the eggs for 15 minutes, soak the prunes in water for 20 minutes.

Cheese, eggs and sticks - we grate all this on a grater, preferably on a coarse one. Cut the prunes into pieces, add finely chopped nuts.

Place the salad: grated egg on the bottom, crab sticks on top. Then a layer of grated cheese, then prunes with nuts, crab sticks. There can be more layers at your discretion. Between layers you can make layers of mayonnaise. Garnish with herbs to taste.

The combination of beef and pear is new to us. By preparing this dish according to our recipe, you will definitely surprise everyone at the festive table on New Year's Eve 2017.

Beef roll made from pear and cheese.

We will need:

  • Beef tenderloin without bone 1 kg.
  • Cheese 200 gr.
  • Pear 4 pcs.
  • Onion 1 pc.
  • Spices.

Beat a piece of beef into a thin layer. Sprinkle with spices. Finely chop the onion and cheese. Cut the pears into strips. Mix everything with herbs to your taste. Spread the filling onto the beef in an even layer, roll it up and secure with kitchen twine. Wrap the roll in foil and bake in the oven at 200 degrees for 40-50 minutes. A few minutes before it's ready, remove the foil to get a golden brown crust.

Mozzarella or feta cheese are ideal for this dish, the main thing is that it is not a fatty variety.

Olivier salad with pear

We will need:

  • Potato tubers 6 pcs.
  • Carrots 3 pcs.
  • Large pear 1 pc.
  • Peas 200 gr.
  • Ham 200 gr.
  • Herbs, spices, mayonnaise.

Boil potatoes and carrots in their skins, then cut into cubes. Also cut the ham into cubes. Cut the pear into thin strips. Mash the peas with a spoon. Lay out the salad in layers: potatoes, then ham, pear, carrots. Flavor each layer with mayonnaise. Decorate with greens.

The best choice for this salad is Chinese pear - not very sweet, it will replace cucumber well. And peas from a jar can be replaced with fresh frozen ones. Boil in salted water and cool.

We have to:

  • Chocolate, 72% cocoa 200 gr.
  • Wheat flour 250 gr
  • Cocoa powder 5 tsp.
  • Peeled hazelnuts 50 gr.
  • Margarine for baking 1 pack
  • Eggs 3 pcs.
  • Soda, vinegar.

Mix the dough: beat the sugar and eggs, then add the flour. Quench the soda with vinegar and add to the other ingredients in the mixing bowl. Add pre-softened margarine. Mix until there are no lumps. Mix the dough. Chop half the chocolate and all the nuts and add to the dough. Place into molds and fill 1/3 full. Place in the oven for baking - approximately half an hour at 186 degrees.

Melt the rest of the chocolate bar and top the cooled muffins.

Festive strudel

We will need:

  • Non-yeast puff pastry 1 pack.
  • Unsweetened apple 3 pcs.
  • Raisins 150 gr.
  • Any nuts 50 gr.
  • Cinnamon 1 tsp.
  • Yolk from 1 egg.
  • Brown sugar 3 tbsp. l.

Pour boiling water over raisins for 30 minutes, finely chop the nuts. Peel the apple, remove the skin and core, then grate it on a coarse grater. Mix sugar with cinnamon.

Defrost the puff pastry and roll it out to a thickness of 2-3 mm. Spread the filling throughout the dough, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Carefully roll into a tight roll and pinch the edges. Place the roll on a baking sheet, brush the entire surface with yolk and place in the oven for about half an hour at 180 degrees.

Italian cookies for the new year

We will need:

  • Wheat flour 1 cup.
  • Brown sugar 0.5 cups
  • Margarine for baking 1 pack
  • Baking powder for dough 10 gr.
  • Cinnamon 2 tsp.
  • A mixture of nutmeg and cloves - 0.5 tsp.
  • Salt.

Soften the margarine with a fork, add baking powder mixed with sifted flour. Pour in 3 tbsp of water. Mix the dough.

Mix sugar with cinnamon and a mixture of nutmeg and cloves.

Roll out the dough into strips 10 cm long and 1 cm thick, soak in cinnamon and sugar and connect into rings.

Bake at 180 degrees for 15 minutes.

Chocolate mousse

We will need:

  • Chocolate, 72% cocoa 1 bar
  • Eggs 6 pcs.
  • Fresh berries, for decoration.
  • Sprigs of fresh mint.

Melt the chocolate bar in a water bath. Separate the whites from the yolks as carefully as possible. Beat the whites into a thick foam. Add the yolks one at a time to the chocolate, stirring gradually. We also add the whipped whites. The chocolate mass should be very airy. Pour into bowls and place in the refrigerator for several hours. Garnish with fresh berries and mint leaves.
