Ingredients

  • thermal stickers,
  • medium sized chicken eggs

Cooking sequence

Wash the eggs thoroughly, carefully place them in a saucepan, pour cold water so that it completely covers them and put on fire. After boiling, reduce the heat intensity and cook for 10-15 minutes. After the time has passed, remove the eggs into a prepared container with a small amount cold water. Place it in the sink, add water to the desired level and leave to cool.

Using scissors, cut the thermal film into separate segments along the light lines separating the colorful fragments. Since they are sized for a medium egg, try putting a sticker on it before you start. Ideally, if you don’t need to make an effort or constantly adjust the falling out oval, otherwise the drawing will sit askew.

Return the pan with boiling water to the heat and bring to a boil. Once cooled, maybe a little warm, dry the eggs with a towel. Place the krashanka in the chosen form and, using a spoon, dip it into boiling water for literally 5-7 seconds.

The bright thermal shirt will immediately take the shape of an egg. Perform this simple operation with the remaining eggs.

Keep in mind that the size of the stickers is standard, but the eggs can be very large. Small eggs If they fit, the stickers may crumple into an accordion, which will not look very nice.

Before sticking easter stickers, the eggs need to be hard-boiled. Cut the strip of stickers along the dividing lines. Place each piece on the egg, making sure it’s even. Otherwise, when the picture is pasted, it will turn out crooked, and in order to redo it, you will have to remove it and repeat the whole procedure again.

Pour about a liter of water into a bowl and bring to a boil. Take a tablespoon or even larger, place the egg with the sticker and carefully lower it into boiling water. Due to exposure high temperature The cellophane will shrink to the shape of an egg.

Happy Easter!

Not long ago we discovered this modern, fast and very convenient way of decorating easter eggs. Of course, there are some nuances, but we’ll talk about them directly in the recipe.

Ingredients for decorating Easter eggs with thermal labels:

thermal labels

hot water

Applying thermal labels to eggs:

Shrink labels are sold in sets like these. When buying them, pay attention that they are not shrunken, because they are very sensitive to heat and quickly lose their shape. If the labels are bad, their use will be very difficult. Also, select eggs so that thermal labels fit on them. Judging by the assortment in our city, the right eggs You can choose from the 1st category. The second one will be too small.

Boil the eggs. You can apply a thermal label to already painted eggs, but if the eggs were painted food coloring, keep in mind that when lowered into water, the dye will begin to dissolve and it will be possible to apply the label only to eggs of the same color. Place the thermal label on the egg as shown above. Place the egg in boiling water, literally after 20-30 seconds, sometimes a little longer, the label will tighten tightly boiled egg. Dry the egg in the label and that’s it. Beautiful Easter eggs are ready.

Comparison of Easter egg decorating methods:

Like everything classic, they are very familiar to the eye. At the same time, thanks to natural products, you don’t have to worry about the safety of these eggs. Painting with onion skins is very durable and does not get dirty. If you take such an egg in your hands, they will remain clean. If you put an egg in water, the water will not color. These eggs can be additionally, without any reservations, decorated with thermal labels. I prefer this method of coloring eggs, especially since there are children in the family.

Of course, beautiful and bright. But I try not to use this method, because it is not known what these dyes are made of and how safe they are for health. Moreover, if you pick up such an egg, it becomes very colored and dirty. This means that inevitably some part of the dye is consumed internally. You can apply a thermal label to such an egg, but the paint will partially wash off and may become uneven. Although these eggs are fun to decorate, I would not give them to children.

I consider the above to be safe. harmful substances This label does not enter food. This is a very beautiful and varied decoration for eggs. But you will have to peel such eggs either using scissors or a knife. Thermal labels are quite durable. Despite this small drawback, we love decorating eggs this way. After all, the process itself is interesting and enjoyable. Bon appetit!!!

Decorating eggs for Easter is one of our family's favorite activities. Previously, the process was reduced to the following procedure: over the course of several months we collected onion skins, on Easter they threw it into water, put eggs and boiled it. The resulting colored eggs were this golden brown color.

We didn’t buy special paint because our family considered it harmful.

But I always wanted to not only make the eggs monochromatic, but also somehow decorate them so that there were patterns.

And how wonderful it is that thermal labels for decoration were invented.

There are a lot of drawings on such labels: churches, faces of saints, children's motifs. I really like labels with different designs: Gzhel, Khokhloma and other folk motifs.

The set is designed for seven eggs.

The label must be cut before gluing.

The decoration process is as follows:

Bring water to a boil in a bowl,

We put a label on the egg,

Place the egg on a spoon or in a ladle (depending on how you adapt),

Place the egg in boiling water

Label under the influence hot water shrinks and wraps the egg tightly

There is a little secret here. In order for the label to lie evenly, you need to put it on the egg not evenly, but slightly obliquely, so that the top is pushed a little higher and the bottom a little lower. Once you get the hang of it, you can achieve a more or less even sticker.

The result is beauty. The complete impression is that the eggs are painted.

But there is a significant drawback to these stickers. When you peel eggs, it is very difficult to get rid of it. It is difficult to break, sometimes you even have to use a knife.

I can’t say how much such labels will cost now, but in past years they were very cheap: from 1 to 2 hryvnia for one set of seven stickers.

Overall, despite the shortcomings, this is a very convenient way to quickly and easily decorate eggs for Easter.

There is another sticker with which you can decorate eggs very beautifully, in in this case These are stickers from the manufacturer Alt, which is discussed in this review.

In recent years, in preparation for Easter, many housewives have been buying and wrapping Easter eggs with various stickers. It looks very beautiful and it takes much less time to make such an egg.

If you are a believer, then better than eggs paint the old fashioned way or use stickers with various beautiful patterns. But priests urge people not to use stickers with icons, since the icon on the egg will have to be torn off and then thrown away, and this is a desecration of a Christian shrine.

It has become fashionable to put stickers on eggs; thermal stickers are sold not only in stores, but also in churches. I think there is nothing wrong if the painted egg contains an image from a biblical theme. There is no sin and no blasphemy in that. Discard after use, chopping with scissors if in doubt.

If there is even the slightest doubt, then it is better not to use such stickers, but to buy stickers with colors and patterns.

They say you can't put Easter stickers on eggs? Why?

In fact, these are stereotypes and thermal stickers do not carry artistic value or other sacred meaning for the average person. They cover Easter eggs to decorate the table, and if it is not cut, it will be impossible to remove without tearing.

This method is easy to use and inexpensive. The labels are made at the factory and all the pictures on them are artistic paintings.

If you are a believer, then after removing them, wrap everything in a bag. You can grind everything first if you have doubts about this.

It’s another matter if the egg was painted by an icon painter, then the shells would have to be buried with prayer or burned.

Indeed, such questions about stickers never arose before, because people painted eggs, which were later called krashenka, or painted them artistically, which were called pysanky. In Ukraine and Belarus, such names are still in use. Then various stickers appeared that were considered thermal.

If the question is not about the harmfulness of the sticker itself, but about the fact that pictures with the faces of saints, temples, or some biblical scenes are used, then the church does not prohibit this either. The only thing is that you shouldn’t throw these stickers in the trash later, just like the shells. It is enough to collect all this in a bag, take it to a clean place outside and burn it with prayer.

Therefore, what they say is that you can’t use stickers is nothing more than a speculation made up by people. Allegedly, the shells and stickers are then thrown into the trash, and there are saints depicted there. Believe in it, put up abstract pictures, there are many different options.
