How to make a three-dimensional craft from salt dough. Video and photo lessons on making fun crafts from salt dough. Cutting with baking molds

From this article you will learn how to make salt dough yourself and how to dry it. Lots of photos and step-by-step instructions will help you make a dough craft for any holiday.

For modeling lessons with small children, it is better to use salt dough or Play Doh plasticine.

How to make dough for crafts: recipe

You can make the dough yourself; for this you will need just a few simple ingredients: flour, fine salt, citric acid, vegetable oil and water.

First mix 1 cup of flour with 0.5 cups of salt and 2 teaspoons of citric acid. Pour into a saucepan, add 1 tablespoon of oil to the dry mixture. Place over medium heat, gradually add water and stir. No more than 0.5 cup of water should be used. When the mass pulls away from the walls of the pan and becomes one lump, remove the pan from the heat. Take the mixture out, place it on a board sprinkled with flour, and knead it with your hands like regular dough.

If you want to make colored play dough, you first need to dilute dry food coloring in water. You can also add a little gouache to the finished dough and knead it well so that the color becomes uniform.

How to prepare salt dough for modeling?

Prepare salt dough. Paint it in different colors, depending on what you want to make. The dough can be made uncolored, divided into balls and add a little gouache of the desired color to each and knead. It's better to make the dough in regular colors, and then mix them to achieve the desired one.

Keep the dough in a bag, or wrap it in cling film, or put it in a closed container so that it does not dry out. If it is still dry, add a little water, and if it is too wet, add a little flour.

  1. Make the dough thinner and simply spread it on the base of the craft, so you can make butter on a piece of bread, or use brown dough to make chocolate frosting for a cake.
  2. Try on the food you made with the toy plates that you will later play with so that they match in size
  3. To stick the salt dough pieces together, use a wet brush. Apply a brush to the joint and stick the parts to each other
  4. When making food for dolls, it is very important to make the dough as much as possible the same color as the original, for example, the carrots should be orange, not yellow or red
  5. To prevent the colors from fading, open the craft with varnish. For activities with children, you need to use special harmless varnishes; they do not have an unpleasant odor because they are water-based

Drying figures from salt dough for modeling

There are two ways to dry salt dough crafts.

  1. Air dry crafts. It is best if you place them on a smooth surface and leave them for several days. When the craft is dry, turn it over or lay it on its side so that it dries on all sides.
  2. Baking in the oven. Preheat the oven well, place baking paper on a baking sheet, place crafts on top, place in the oven and turn off the heat. The oven should be closed and not opened until completely dry. You can also bake crafts at a temperature of 100°C, but in this case you need to watch them so that they do not burn

These two methods can be combined, for example, dry it in the oven for an hour, then leave it in the air, after a while in the oven, and so on until it dries.

Of course, if the craft contains other decorations (beads, beads), you need to dry it using the first method.

    VIDEO: Craft from salt dough “Owl”

decorate fashionable interiors of apartments and shops, handmade jewelry complements costume collections of fashion designers, gifts, and hand-made toys are very popular among adults and youth

I want to tell about

salt dough products,

which today occupy their niche among handmade products

Modeling from salt dough gives a lot of freedom to imagination, and products made from it sometimes amaze with their beauty and grace.

This type of creativity brings pleasure and joy, like any other.

Many people think: well, just think, some kind of salt dough - all these are crafts (implying the childishness of the product).

But only those who don’t know that think so

Since ancient times, people have sculpted from salt dough; not only in Russia, but also in all European countries, it was customary to give wreaths, doll figurines or other amulets from salt dough.

Why from dough?

It’s very simple - salt dough is an amazingly energy-intensive material.

Everyone who has at least once sculpted figures from salt dough or received them as a gift has felt this positive impact on themselves.

Salt dough, just like clay, has amazing energy, but if clay draws out all the negativity, salt dough, on the contrary, gives positive energy - goodness and warmth with this material is very pleasant to work with.

If you liked the idea of interesting creativity that you can create together with your child, then be sure to remember and try the following recipe in practice:

Salt dough recipe

1 cup flour
1 glass of salt
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 cup water
The process of making salt dough is incredibly simple. Pour a glass of salt into a deep bowl (or any other convenient container) and pour half a glass of hot water.
Next, we mix the salt with water and add a glass of flour. Stir the salt dough until smooth. For convenience, you can use a mixer.

You need to add one or two tablespoons of vegetable oil, dry wallpaper glue or a spoonful of hand cream to the salt dough.

Mix everything in the bowl vigorously with your hands; if the dough is too sticky to your hands, add a little flour mixed with salt.

Place the resulting mass of salt dough in a plastic bag and place in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours. After this, you can sculpt from salt dough. If you still have dough left after modeling, store it in the refrigerator in a plastic bag.

The dough is ready, now you can make all kinds of figures from it. Place the finished crafts on a baking sheet and place in a cold oven, where we keep them on low heat (80%) for about an hour, or a little more if the figures have not yet completely hardened. After drying, the figures can be painted and varnished.

Tips for working with salt dough:

1. Keep the container with salted dough closed, because salted dough left open in the air dries out very quickly.
2. To prevent the dough from sticking to your hands, you need to add a little flour to it.
3. To prevent the dough from crumbling, you need to pour a little water into it.
4. Unused dough should be stored in the refrigerator - it will keep there for one to two days.
5. To give the dough a pleasant smell and color, you can add spices to it, for example, cumin, pepper, curry, nutmeg, cinnamon, etc.
6. To check whether the figures have dried well, tap them with your finger. If the sound is ringing, the dough is dry, but if it is dull, then it is not yet.
7. After the oven, the dough figures can be painted with gouache and then varnished.
8.If cracks appear on the figurine after drying, dilute a little PVA glue, mix well and apply this mixture to the crack, rubbing it in.

Methods for coloring salt dough

You can tint the salt dough with food coloring, watercolor or gouache. You can color it when preparing the dough, introducing the dye during kneading, and the actual finished product - on the surface.

An excellent chocolate color is obtained by adding cocoa. You can experiment with other natural dyes - soot, beet juice, carrots, ocher, etc. You can brown the salt dough product in the oven for a natural color.

When tinting, you must take into account that after drying the color will become less saturated, but if you cover the craft with varnish, it will become brighter again. What varnish can I use? Acrylic and artistic are very good. It is also possible to use ordinary water-based construction materials for breathable surfaces, i.e. for parquet or wood.

Features and methods of preparing salt dough:

There are a few things you can't do with salt dough. So, for example, you cannot add pancake flour (or flour with any other additives) to the salted dough, since the figures will rise like good pie dough and crack when dry.

Also, you cannot add iodized salt; large inclusions do not dissolve, and subsequently the dough is not homogeneous - it turns into grains. Likewise, rock salt should not be added without first dissolving it.

About the water. So, it is best to use very cold water in the dough; Be sure to add 50 ml in parts, after each addition, knead (due to the fact that different flours may require different amounts of water).

The salt is first mixed with flour, and only then water is poured into the finished mass.

Salt dough is stored in a plastic bag or tightly closed container. It is better to take salted dough out of a plastic bag in small pieces, since lumps of dough quickly become crusty and when rolled out or molded, these dry crusts spoil the appearance.

And one more thing, if the figures are thick (more than 7 mm), then after the first stage, you need to take out the excess dough from the back side

The dough may be too soft. Then proceed as follows: mix a tablespoon of flour with a tablespoon of salt at the bottom of a bowl. Press the ball of dough into this mixture and then scrunch it up. Do this until the dough becomes more dense.

You can sculpt or cut out figures directly on a baking sheet. The baking sheet should first be moistened with water; in this case, bubbles will not form between the product and the surface of the baking sheet, therefore, the surface of the product will be smooth and stable.

Everything that falls off is simply wonderful and, most importantly, it is glued invisibly with PVA glue.

Swelling or cracking of salt dough crafts occurs in three cases:

  1. If the flour is chosen incorrectly. For greater strength, you can add rye flour to the dough (the color will be warmer and there should be no cracking) (for example, a glass of regular flour + a glass of rye flour, 1 to 1), 50 gr. starch - also gives the dough elasticity and prevents it from cracking. You can also add PVA glue, since it also gives plasticity and prevents the dough from rising.
  2. If drying is not carried out correctly (see next section)
  3. If cracking occurs after painting, this means that the product has not completely dried (the product continues to dry and the air has to go somewhere), so the surface of the paint or varnish is cracking. Take your time to paint or varnish the product, so as not to regret it later and not to redo it.

Frequently asked question: how to dry salt dough?

It is best to air dry under natural conditions, but this takes a long time (complete drying can take a week or more - especially if the humidity during drying is high - since salt draws out moisture), so you can dry it in the oven, following several rules.

  1. The oven should be at minimum temperature
  2. It’s good if drying is done with the oven lid slightly open
  3. You cannot put items into a hot oven immediately; heating should occur gradually. Just like taking the product out of the oven, it is better if it cools gradually instead of with the oven
  4. It is ideal to dry in several stages: let it dry on one side for an hour, turn the craft over, and dry on the reverse side. I also take breaks between drying, it dries in the oven for an hour - it dries on its own for a day - then again for an hour and a half in the oven on the reverse side.

The drying time for a salt dough product depends on the thickness of the product itself. And also on the manufacturing recipe used. So, dough containing butter, cream, etc. dries much longer than dough without oil-containing additives.

To avoid cracking of the product, you can dry it in three to four stages, in the oven at the very minimum and always with the lid open for about an hour and a half, then a break of two to three hours, or overnight, the craft dries itself, and then again Turn the oven on low with the lid open.

During natural and oven drying, the craft must be rotated at each stage of drying, i.e. It dries with the front side for an hour, rests, at the next stage it is turned over and dries with the back side.

Thus, we have covered the basic recipes and methods for making salt dough.

Happy creativity!

You can make various souvenirs from this unusual material, and then paint them. It is strong and durable and can please a person for many years.

How to prepare play dough

It turns out that you can not only bake pies and cakes from the dough, but also make wonderful paintings, toys and much more. It’s easy to sculpt from it, almost like plasticine, and the dried toy becomes hard and, unlike plasticine, will not melt in your hands. Salt dough makes wonderful and original surprise gifts, and you can prepare such modeling material quite quickly. In addition, it will not require much expense from you - everything you need for this exciting work will probably be found in your home.

Of course, the composition of this magical dough is different from the one from which grandmothers bake cheesecakes. There is no single, “correct” recipe; each master uses his own. We will try to stick to one of the directions, but if you want, you can experiment with the proportions of water, flour and salt. Just make sure there are no cuts or abrasions on your hands, otherwise salt may get into the wound.

For work we will need:

- flour -1.5 cups;

- salt - 1 glass;

- water - 1 glass;

- dry wallpaper glue - 1-2 tbsp. l.;

- sunflower oil - 1 tbsp. l.;

- mixing utensils;

- rolling pin;

- cutting board or any smooth surface;

- plastic bag for storage.

Operating procedure

1. Pour flour and salt into a container and carefully add water little by little (be sure to first flour, then water, and not vice versa, otherwise lumps may form) and mix. If lumps form in the dough, knead them with your hands. So we mix the whole dough until it becomes soft and homogeneous in composition.

2. Add sunflower oil to this mass so that the dough does not stick to your hands, and wallpaper glue so that the dough becomes like plasticine, bendable and elastic. Mix all this thoroughly again and knead the remaining lumps.

3. Now take the dough and place it on a cutting board. Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough several times to completely eliminate the possibility of lumps appearing.

4. Place the dough in a plastic bag and put it in the refrigerator for an hour. After an hour, the dough is ready to use.

During modeling, you should not take all the dough out of the bag at once - it will quickly dry out in the air. It is better to pinch off the necessary pieces and cover the rest with a bag. If there is dough left after modeling, you can put it in the refrigerator - there it can be stored for several days.

If your hands are wet, the dough will stick to them. You need to dust them with flour. And in order to fasten the parts together, on the contrary, the dough needs to be wet. To do this, we wet the parts that we want to glue together using ordinary water and a paint brush.

After the dough figures are molded, you need to dry them; this can be done in two ways.

Method one- just leave the toy at room temperature to dry for 3-4 days or more - it all depends on the size of the toy and the temperature of the room.

Method two- roasting in the oven. Place the toy on a baking sheet and place in a preheated oven. The temperature should not be very high, it is better to bake on low heat for 30-60 minutes. The figurine is ready when it acquires a light brown tint, but in no case dark.

It is best to paint a toy with tempera or acrylic paints, as they are the most durable - watercolor will look pale and absorb quickly, and gouache will leave marks on your hands.

The finished product can be coated with clear varnish if desired. And remember, although toys may look durable, they will actually break easily if accidentally dropped on the floor. Therefore, do not leave them on the edge of the table or in places where they can easily break. Glue the salted figures onto frames and pictures securely, so that they do not fall over time.

Our master class and several interesting ideas will help you complete simple crafts, and the necessary tips will make this creative process as fruitful and exciting as possible.

There are quite a lot of recipes for modeling salt dough. Depending on the scale of the crafts, salt, flour and water are mixed in different proportions, and, among other things, additional ingredients are added to the dough: glycerin, glue, vegetable oil, starch and even hand cream. For beginners, it is recommended to make the dough according to the classic recipe. To do this, mix flour and salt in equal proportions with the gradual addition of cold water. For example, for 200 g of salt and 200 g of flour you will need 125 g of water.

Advice for beginners!

  1. Flour should be regular rye or wheat flour without adding baking powder or other ingredients.
  2. It is best to take fine-grained salt and in no case iodized. To better dissolve the salt, some needlewomen add a little water to it before mixing it with flour.
  3. To ensure that the dough is homogeneous, it is recommended to use a mixer.
  4. To please children during the modeling process and to add color to the product, you can add food coloring to the dough.
  5. For better adhesion of individual parts of the craft to each other, moisten them with a brush.
  6. It is best to dry the product in an oven preheated to 50-60 degrees. Depending on the size of the craft, this procedure may take about 1 hour or more.

Master class on making mukosolek

In addition to flour, water and salt, the following equipment will be needed for the master class:

  • modeling board;
  • small rolling pin;
  • small knife;
  • a toothpick or ballpoint pen for small holes and patterns;
  • water container;
  • brush and paints;
  • coating varnish.

Depending on what kind of figures you will make, you may need cookie cutters, beads, buttons, and leaves of different shapes to create impressions.

  1. Roll out the prepared salt dough into a layer half a centimeter thick.
  2. Using cookie cutters, cut out the desired number of shapes. Using a toothpick or a pen refill, make holes in the figures in order to thread ribbon loops through them. Decorate crafts using beads, buttons, or tree leaves as stamps.
  3. Preheat the oven, line the bottom of a baking sheet with tracing paper or special baking paper.
  4. Place the figures on a baking sheet and bake in the oven until the dough hardens.
  5. Place the mucosols on a flat surface and paint with colors of your choice.
  6. To add shine to finished products, coat them with varnish.

Flour pickles can be made using a small knife, cutting out all kinds of elements. For example, you can make a hanging house for children for the New Year tree or a funny cat with rope paws. A salty pancake can make a cute owl if you fold its three edges and cut out eyes and a nose.

The materials and equipment needed to create such a funny lamb will be the same as in the previous master class.

  1. Knead the dough according to the classic recipe and put it in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  2. Make 4 small balls from the dough for future lamb legs.
  3. To make the body, roll a sheet of foil into a ball and cover it with a salted dough pancake. Place the resulting ball on the legs.
  4. Make a lamb's head, horns, ears and eyes from the dough. Use small balls of dough to form the fur of the toy.
  5. Dry the salted dough lamb in the oven for 2.5-3 hours, and then let it cool for 30-40 minutes.
  6. Paint and varnish the toy.

Modeling three-dimensional panels and paintings from salt dough

As a rule, salt dough is used for paintings according to the following recipe: one glass each of salt and flour, 1 tbsp. water. For beginners, it is best to use a small number of salted figures in the painting, decorating the rest of the space with decorative materials. It is best to make salted parts on foil so that their back surface is perfectly flat and easily glued to the field of the picture.

Possible problems for beginners when making crafts from salt dough

  1. After painting, the products cracked.
  2. Clean the craft with sandpaper, dry it in fresh air and paint it again.
  3. The crafts cracked due to the large thickness.
  4. Remove excess dough from the back. If the figure is large, it needs to be turned over periodically when drying.
  5. If a part breaks off from the toy, glue it together with PVA glue or decorate it with a suitable decoration.

One of children's favorite activities that helps develop imagination and fine motor skills is modeling with salt dough. This material allows you to sculpt both simple figures and create complex paintings. With children, while working with the test, you can easily and playfully learn the alphabet, shapes and colors. But not only children love to sculpt; for many adults, this activity has become a favorite hobby that helps them realize their creative abilities or simply take a break from the everyday hustle and bustle.

How to properly organize the work process

It is necessary to determine in advance what product you plan to sculpt and prepare all the necessary materials. If a child will participate in the creative process, then you should remember that children are rarely distinguished by long-term perseverance. Make sure that a program is prepared for the child in advance: salt dough modeling can alternate with five-minute musical exercises, as well as finger gymnastics. It is important to remember that sculpting figures from salt dough is a creative process and cannot be rushed.

Before you start creating, you need to arrange your workplace: it’s a good idea to cover the area where you plan to sculpt with film or paper. You need to prepare a board, rolling pin, vegetable oil or starch for your hands in advance so that the dough does not stick. To create various reliefs, additional equipment is needed: various objects with which you can make a design on salt dough, for example, buttons, pasta, scissors. Threads can also be useful in the work to make braids for dolls or a mane for a horse, and needles are used to translate pictures. Also, after the product has dried, you will need a brush for painting, varnish or glaze.

How to choose the right ingredients and make the dough

To make the dough you will need flour, salt and water. It is better to choose premium wheat flour; it contains gluten in the required quantity so that the dough is plastic and does not crumble. Salt is added so that the dough holds its shape well; it is advisable to find the finest salt - extra class. The water must first be boiled and filtered. To make a voluminous and high-quality sculpt from salt dough, the following recipe is used: flour, salt and water are taken in a 2:1:1 ratio, first salt is poured into the flour, mixed well, and only then water is gradually added. If desired, you can add a couple of tablespoons of vegetable oil or PVA glue.

How to make colored dough

To make colored fakes, you can first mold them and then paint them. But modeling from salt dough is much more interesting and easier if it is initially colored. You can color it by mixing it using both food and natural dyes. The brown color comes from cocoa. Using beetroot juice adds many shades to the dough: from pink to burgundy depending on its concentration, orange will give the dough carrot juice, and red - cherry or pomegranate. Green can be made by pureing spinach or broccoli, while yellow can be achieved by using lemon or saffron. When coloring the dough, it should be taken into account that when it dries, the color becomes less saturated, especially for red shades.

Adding shine and fixing the color of the product

After the craft has dried, it is covered with glaze. It's easy to prepare it yourself. You can use a salt solution for coating; for this, 2 tablespoons must be completely dissolved in 50 grams of water. The resulting glaze is applied with a soft brush in several layers gradually, allowing each layer to dry thoroughly. Another way: take two egg whites and stir in 100 grams of water. Apply also with a brush. After glazing, the product acquires a pleasant beige-brown color. It should be remembered that it is not recommended to glaze colored works; it is better to coat them with varnish to fix the color. It is better to use liquid varnish, since thick ones tend to crack over time, and the easiest way is to use aerosol varnish.

Simple step-by-step salt dough modeling for children and beginners

Cats are among the most beloved pets by adults and children. Figurines with their image are strong amulets that attract good luck and harmony to the house. Modeling cats from salt dough can be done very easily and quickly, even by children, if you use the following instructions.

Making the dough

For the dough, you need to take flour and salt in equal quantities of 150 grams, pour into a cup and mix thoroughly. Then add about 50 grams of water. It needs to be poured carefully in small portions, stirred after each addition and monitor the resulting consistency; if you overdo it, it will be very difficult to work with the dough, and it will also take a lot of time for it to dry out. The dough should not stick to your hands or crumble; after obtaining the desired consistency, as in the picture, there is no need to add more water.

Creating a figurine

Modeling, although a creative activity, is not chaotic, so making crafts requires a well-thought-out program: modeling from salt dough usually starts with large parts, and then smaller ones are made.

To make a cat figurine, you need to divide the dough into several parts: for the head, body, tail and a few other small parts that can be made from small pieces.

To prevent the dough from sticking and keep its shape, it is best to sculpt on cardboard, wood or plastic. First, the head and body are laid out, and then smaller details: ears, muzzle, eyes and tail. Each participant in the process can make their cat look the way they want, the following image is just an example of a typical cat's appearance.

Drying and product design

After the sculpting of the figurine is completed, it needs to be dried, this will take two to three days. To speed up the process, the craft can be placed in an open oven at minimum temperature for a couple of hours, and then allowed to dry completely naturally. The final stage: adding color to the finished figurine. Any paint is suitable for this, but gouache is preferable, due to its consistency, it fits better on the product. You can color the cat to your taste, or as shown in the picture. In order to fix the color, the product must be varnished. The picture is ready, it can be framed and hung on the wall.

Modeling pictures using translation

For those who are just about to learn how to make crafts from dough or are not confident in their artistic abilities, the best option is to sculpt pictures from salt dough using translation. First you need to take any image you like, print it and cut it out along the outline. Then wrap thick cardboard with foil; if you don’t have it, a cutting board will do. Next, roll out the dough on foil to about 1 cm thick. Then, attaching the picture, you need to remove all excess dough along the contour. To transfer the image itself, it is best to use a needle. In order not to wrinkle or spoil the dough, you first need to make a stencil from the picture and only then transfer it. When the picture is transferred, the product needs to be dried, it is best to do this using an oven: at a temperature of 100 degrees it will take 5 hours, and in the fresh air for more than two weeks. You cannot dry crafts on a radiator: they may crack. You can check whether the product is dry using a microwave by placing it for 40 seconds at low power; the raw craft will become hot or warm. The dried work is painted and varnished.

Another option for translating a picture

When choosing patterns for modeling salt dough, you need to remember: the more small details, the more difficult it is to complete. At the initial level, it is better to choose images with large drawings. After you find a picture you like, you need to print it in two copies. The first one is secured with tape under the glass on which the modeling will be done. It is convenient to look at the second one so as not to accidentally miss small details that may disappear during work. You can sculpt directly on the glass or under a thick transparent film, then you will not need to cut off the picture. When making a drawing, the parts are sculpted sequentially, starting with the largest. If necessary, you must first create effects before the dough dries, and only then proceed to the next fragment. After the picture is completed, it should be left to dry in a dry, warm place for several days.

If modeling from salt dough was done directly on glass, then it must be cut off. Turning the glass over, you can see the dried crust. The product can be cut off when it is more than 1.5 mm. This work is very painstaking and careful. You can use a utility knife or a linoleum knife blade. It is necessary to pry all the edges around the perimeter, choosing the thinnest fragments first. You need to hold the product with the glass facing down, regularly checking for accuracy. While working, it is important to press the sharp edge of the blade firmly against the glass. Dried crafts may come off the glass. To prevent it from breaking, it is not advisable to do the work on something hard, preferably on a blanket or blanket. Then the cut craft is painted and sent back to dry in an open oven.

Useful crafts made from salt dough

If you use your imagination, then crafts are not limited to figures and paintings. Modeling from salt dough allows you to make many other useful decorative things, such as magnets, candlesticks, vases, New Year's toys, keychains, pendants and photo frames. Also, due to its plasticity, the dough perfectly retains prints; everyone uses this ability in their own way: some like to make casts of their children’s little hands and feet, others - prints of flowers and herbs in memory of summer.

How to make a beautiful candlestick decorated with roses

Those who are just learning what salt dough modeling is most often use flowers to decorate their crafts. To make a candlestick, you first need to make a base; you can use the option in the picture or come up with your own.

To make leaves, you first need to mold a small ball, pressing on it, you can get an oval that is pointed at one edge and remains rounded at the other. Using a knife or modeling tool, depressions are made in the form of veins and points along the perimeter, then the sheet is attached to the base. Before making flowers, you need to sculpt the planned number of leaves and place them all on the candlestick.

To make a rose, you need to make balls. One of the balls is rolled into a cylinder and serves as the base of the flower. The rest are used to make thin petals into which the cylinder is wrapped. After the flowers are ready, they need to be placed on the base between the leaves.

To make Christmas tree decorations, you can use cookie cutters, cardboard stencils, or sculpt them yourself. It is important to remember to make a hole for the string before the product is dried. You can decorate the resulting forms in the following ways:

If you make holes using a cocktail straw, you will get delicate decorations;

You can use beads for decoration, but they cannot be dried in the oven, they melt at high temperatures;

Instead of beads, you can use cereals, small pasta, shells, glass, buttons and even broken colored dishes;

You can decorate toys by threading beautiful colored threads or ribbons into pre-made holes;

Glitter will give the decorations a festive look; they should be applied to already dried items using glue;

You can paint crafts not only with paints, but also with permanent markers;

You can decorate toys with prints of buttons, shells, twigs, lace and any other objects with an interesting texture; you can also use purchased stamps with ink.

The resulting decorations can be hung separately on the Christmas tree or made into a garland.

You need to sculpt from dough while in a good mood and enjoying the process, then the created products will retain positive energy. In order to enjoy crafts for a long time, it is important to store them correctly: dough products are afraid of moisture, so it is better to place them in a dry and ventilated room.
