That's it, a waffle cake made from ready-made cake layers with condensed milk has always been something from my childhood. Easy to prepare, relatively cheap, but always tasty and sweet... This is almost the only dessert that I could never refuse (I have no sweet tooth). My sister and I prepared such cakes for our parents’ birthdays, March 8th and other holidays, and this has always been the best gift for family. We mastered this dish when we were 13-14 years old, so even novice housewives will not have any difficulties in creating it. Now I will share with you two versions of the recipe for a cake made from waffle cakes with condensed milk, and for clarity, I will take them with a photo.

I consider this recipe a classic. Well, at least when I was 13-14 years old, my sister and I prepared this cake this way. We have already grown up, but the recipe from childhood remains, and it makes my children happy.

Kitchen appliances and utensils: mixer, bowl for cream, plate for dessert, spoon for cream.

Everything is clear about the inventory, now let’s look at the most important and most delicious part - the products.

Ingredients

For a delicious dessert, it is important to take a responsible approach to the choice of its components:

  • Wafer cakes can be found in a store or market. The main criterion is that they must be fresh and dry. Be sure to check the date of manufacture. Good cake layers will be firm, light and brittle.
  • Butter can only be bought where it is sold from the refrigerator. Be sure to check the integrity of the packaging and the date of final consumption. If you buy it by weight at the market, don’t hesitate to take a sample. Good oil has a creamy or light yellowish tint, is hard when cooled and does not spread. The taste of this oil may be slightly sweet, without bitterness or foreign flavors.
  • Boiled condensed milk can be found in glass or tin containers. Any will do. The main thing is that the container is without damage or dents and is sealed. It would also be a good idea to check the expiration dates.

If you already have everything, let’s not waste time and prepare this simple and delicious cake quickly and easily.

I picked up this cooking option from a friend. With bananas, such a cake becomes much more interesting, tastier and more beautiful, but at the same time remains just as easy to create.

Cooking time: an hour and a half.
Number of servings: 8.
Calories: per 100 grams 485 kcal.
Kitchen appliances and utensils: mixer, oven with temperature control, immersion blender, three deep bowls, piping bag, baking sheet, parchment paper, spoon, dessert plate, cutting board and knife.Text

There is no particular difference in kitchen utensils, and in terms of products everything is no more complicated.

Ingredients

You already know how to choose waffle cakes, condensed milk and butter, all you have to do is figure out the rest of the products:

  • Choose medium bananas, yellow in color. If they are slightly darkened, this is not critical, but it is still better to find perfectly yellow ones, especially for decoration.
  • Eggs can be bought both at the market and in the store.. Their freshness is important here, so be sure to check when these eggs were “produced.” If you have any doubts, shake the egg near your ear; nothing should be loose inside. In addition, pay attention to the cleanliness of the shell and its integrity - there should be no traces of droppings or cracks.

If you have everything you need, you can start cooking.

Step-by-step preparation

  1. Separate the whites from the yolks of two eggs. Add a little salt to the whites and beat with a mixer at low speed. Gradually increase the speed of the mixer and gradually add sugar to the whites. In total, you need to add 120 grams of sugar, whipping the whites until a thick, stable foam.
  2. Pipe the resulting meringue onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper using a pastry bag into small circles and dry in the oven at 100°C for 15 minutes. Then reduce the temperature to 60°C and wait until the meringue is completely dry (40-60 minutes).
  3. Take 1 banana and mash it with an immersion blender until smooth.
  4. Beat butter (100 g) at room temperature with a mixer until white, then add boiled condensed milk to it one spoon at a time, continuing to beat. In total you need to add 1 can of condensed milk.
  5. Add banana puree to the cream and mix everything with a mixer until smooth. Cut the second banana into circles - it will be useful for decorating the cake.
  6. Place the waffle cakes on top of each other, covering each with cream. You will need seven cakes in total. Make sure that a little cream is left to coat the cake, coat the cake on top and around the edges.
  7. Decorate the cake with banana slices and prepared meringue. You can also sprinkle the dessert with grated chocolate. The dish is ready. Bon appetit!

How to decorate cakes

If you are preparing a cake with bananas, you do not need to decorate it - we do this during the cooking process. If you're just making a cake, it's for beauty. you can sprinkle it with chocolate chips, coconut flakes, nuts. You can leave a little cream and (if you have a pastry bag and nozzles) decorate the finished dish with a three-dimensional pattern. In addition, this cake can be decorated with any fruit or berries of your choice. The main thing is that you personally like the result of your efforts.

  • You can adjust the sweetness of such cakes by changing the ratio of condensed milk and butter. More condensed milk - sweeter cake.
  • Try to distribute the cream evenly over all the cakes, so they are soaked equally.
  • In principle, such desserts can be served an hour after preparation, if they are at room temperature, during which time the cakes will have time to soak in the cream.
  • These cakes should be stored in the refrigerator, and no more than 3 days.
  • You can serve a cake made from waffle cakes with condensed milk with tea, coffee, cocoa, or milk. This dessert will decorate any sweet table.

Cake preparation options

This cake is probably the easiest one I've ever made. But at the same time, it is very tasty, and almost all children are crazy about it, not just adults. For me it dish from childhood, and I will always agree to a piece of such pleasure. But sweets are sweet, but you also want something substantial. You can make a wonderful savory cake just as simply and deliciously, here are a few of my favorite options:

  • It turns out very tender, the recipe is simple, and the result will pleasantly surprise you.
  • If you want something higher in calories, cook it, the recipe is simple, and the dish itself is also very tasty.
  • The standard for me is, somehow I got used to beef liver, and that’s it, especially since the recipe is also no different in complexity.
  • I would never have believed that I would eat this, but the sushi cake recipe and its result pleasantly surprised me. Be sure to try it, it’s not difficult, but very unusual and tasty.

There are actually a lot of simple cake recipes, it’s impossible to count them all. But I never leave the sweet table without a wafer cake with condensed milk. It's simple, it's delicious, it's the dish of my childhood. If you know how to improve and supplement it, write in the comments, I’m always open to new ideas. And if you have your own version of waffle cake, write too, I really love trying new things!

I'm embarrassed to admit, but this is my first waffle cake. It would seem that it could be simpler, take ready-made cakes and grease them with cream. But for some reason I haven’t made waffle cakes until now.

To prepare waffle cake with boiled condensed milk we will need:

  • 1 package of waffle cakes (there were 6 pieces in my package),
  • 100 grams of butter,
  • 1 can of boiled condensed milk,
  • 30-50 grams of walnuts (or any other),
  • for chocolate glaze

  • 2 tablespoons sugar,
  • 2 tablespoons milk,
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa,
  • 30-50 grams of butter.
  • Recipe for waffle cake with boiled condensed milk.

The process of making this cake is very simple. Let's cook butter cream with boiled condensed milk.

I used ready-made condensed milk, but you can cook it yourself. To do this, put a can of ordinary condensed milk on its side in a saucepan, add cold water, which should completely cover the can and cook over low heat for 2-3 hours. Remove condensed milk from the pan and cool.

Add 2-3 tablespoons of condensed milk to the softened butter and beat with a mixer, each time achieving a homogeneous consistency. We do this until we mix all the condensed milk with the butter.

Now let's assemble the cake. Place a waffle cake layer on a board or a cake plate, brush it with buttercream, then another layer of cake, then spread cream on it. Grease all the cakes in this way, except the last one, placing them one on top of the other.

Let's prepare the chocolate glaze. I usually do this in the microwave. Mix milk and sugar, heat it up, add cocoa, mix well. Add the butter and stir again until the butter has dissolved. If the glaze is too thick, heat it up again, just a few seconds.

Wash the nuts, dry and chop.

Pour the glaze over the cake and sprinkle chopped nuts on top. To allow the glaze to harden and the cake to soak a little, put it in the refrigerator.

I had the cake in the refrigerator all night, I was very worried that the cakes would get soggy. But this did not happen, the cake turned out very tasty and not at all cloying. Just what you need for a delicious breakfast.

    Bon appetit.

This delicious cake can be assembled in just a few minutes. No baking is required for this dessert, so even a child can carry out the entire process.

You can use any cream for waffle cake - butter, custard, sour cream. The dessert is especially delicious with condensed milk cream. You can decorate the waffle cake with chopped nuts, chocolate chips, and fruit. For special occasions it is also suitable.

    Recipe Information

    Cooking method: assembly .

    Total cooking time: 30 min.

    Number of servings: 6-7 .

    Ingredients:

    • wafer cakes 30x15 cm – 6 pcs.

    for cream:

    • condensed milk – 200 g
    • butter – 200 g

    for glaze:

    • cocoa powder – 3 tbsp. l.
    • granulated sugar - 3 tbsp. l.
    • milk – 3 tbsp. l.
    • butter – 30 g

    For decoration:

    • coconut flakes - 3 tbsp. l.

    Cooking method

    1. To make the cream easier to mix, the butter must be removed from the refrigerator in advance and left at room temperature. When softened, it should be cut into thin slices and added to condensed milk.
    2. Using a mixer, lightly beat the cream. It is necessary to achieve complete homogeneity of the mass so that there are no lumps of oil left in it.

    3. The wafer cakes should be generously coated with cream one after another. Distributing the mass evenly over the surface, carefully coat not only the middle, but also the edges of the cakes. There is no need to apply cream to the last layer. Place the cake in the refrigerator to soak, and in the meantime prepare the glaze.

    4. Cocoa must be sifted. This will prevent lumps from forming in the glaze.

    5. Then add granulated sugar.

    6. After this, thoroughly mix the cocoa with sugar and pour in warm milk.

    7. The container with the glaze should be placed on low heat. Stirring constantly, bring the mixture to a boil. Then add a small piece of butter and remove the container from the heat. Continue stirring the glaze until the butter is completely dissolved. After this, it should be allowed to cool slightly.

    8. Spread half of the frosting evenly over the surface of the waffle cake.

    9. Place the cake in the refrigerator for another 10 minutes to allow the frosting to set. Then brush the waffles with the remaining chocolate mixture. Level the surface.

    10. Decorate the waffle cake with coconut shavings, carefully pouring it around the perimeter of the top layer.
    11. After assembling and decorating the dessert, let it sit in the refrigerator for another 1 hour. After this, the no-bake waffle cake can be cut and served.

    Note to the owner:

    • Instead of regular condensed milk, you can use boiled milk - the cream will turn out even more interesting.
    • If there is a banana in the refrigerator, then cut it into thin slices and place it on one of the cake layers somewhere in the middle of the assembly - the taste of the finished cake will only benefit from this.
