Prepare sugar syrup. Combine 200 milliliters of water and 200-250 grams of sugar (the amount of sugar depends on the sweetness of the raspberries and your taste preferences). Add 2 teaspoons lemon zest.

Combine ingredients and bring mixture to a boil over medium heat. When the syrup boils, turn off the heat and cool the syrup completely.
