Steak with Jack Daniels sauce. For Jack Daniel's sauce you will need. Original marinade for meat

I accidentally saw this sauce in a store in Barcelona, couldn’t resist and bought it. There were three types of this sauce: smoky, chili and original. I chose the original one because I had heard about this sauce before, but had not tried it. The bottle says that it can be used on meat, fish and vegetables.

I tried it. I liked the sweet and aromatic taste. I’ll say right away that I didn’t catch the floral aroma of Jack Daniel’s Kentucky whiskey, but I could smell the garlic and cayenne pepper very well. I'd say it's more of a glaze that will make whatever you barbecue look tempting and delicious.

It is not difficult to prepare, but it is better to prepare it in advance. When the sauce cools, it will thicken further. The sauce is perfectly applied to the ribs, which is exactly what I tested it on, it covers them evenly and does not drip. Having analyzed many recipes for this sauce, I made some adjustments to its composition in order to bring the taste as close as possible to the one bought in the store, but I will immediately say that the changes are very minor, I increased the amount of soy sauce by 2 tbsp. l. and the quantity of visla is up to 40 ml. Overall, I was very pleased with the result and will be making this sauce often from now on.

Jack Daniel's sauce is made from hot and sweet ingredients to create a very savory sauce. And the composition is completed with a spoon of good whiskey.

Jack Daniel's sauce is directly related to the whiskey of the same name, which we are sure everyone knows about. So the sauce and the alcoholic drink are released under the same brand. The fact is that whiskey admirers often said that the drink serves as an excellent base for marinades and sauces for meat. Without thinking twice, the company's management launched its own brand. Jack Daniel's sauce appealed to lovers of fried meat, barbecue and... Still would! It bizarrely combines sharpness and sweetness, seasoned with the heady aroma of whiskey.

You can buy original Jack Daniel's sauce in large supermarkets (but not all) or order it from a specialty store. Or you can try to cook it yourself, which is what we will do now.

First we need to fry and soften the garlic clove. To do this, heat a frying pan and without oil, fry the garlic just in the peel until it softens. Then remove the skins and crush the garlic until pureed.

Our advice: Garlic can be baked in the oven. Remove the top layer of husks, line a baking sheet with parchment, drizzle the garlic with oil and cover with foil. Bake at 160 degrees until the garlic is soft.

Now in a separate bowl, mix all the ingredients: garlic puree, a glass of orange juice and a spoonful of chopped pineapple, add 2-3 tsp. lemon juice, a quarter glass and a tablespoon of soy sauce. In addition, we will need some brown sugar, some hot pepper (such as cayenne), 3 tbsp. l. grated onions, and a spoonful of whiskey, naturally Jack Daniel's.

Mix all the ingredients in a saucepan and place it on low heat. Wait for the sauce to boil and cook until the sugar is completely dissolved. Now it needs to be thickened. However, due to the abundance of sweet ingredients, they caramelize and the sauce will thicken on its own. Just leave it on low heat for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally. When prepared, it can be used as a marinade or as a sauce for a ready-made dish. Once prepared, it can be stored for about a week in the refrigerator.

Jack Daniel's sauce is considered a classic of meat cuisine and brutal men's dishes. It is ideal not only for grilled steak, but also goes well with beef burgers, can complement grilled cutlets, grilled fish, and can serve as a dressing for meat salads, in a word, the range of its use is very wide.

Among the most popular varieties of Jack Daniel's sauce are: Steak Sauce Hot Pepper (a hot sauce especially for grilled steaks, such as top blade, skirt steak or), Jack Daniel's Smokey Sweet Barbecue Glaze (glaze for grilled ribs), Jack Daniel's Smokey (sweet taste, gives dishes a “glassy” caramel crust), Jack Daniel's Smooth Original (soft sauce with a pronounced tomato flavor, ideal for).
