This dessert is a good way to add variety to your daily menu. A minimum of simple products, just a few minutes to make the dough - and you can already send the dough into a hot oven. In just 30-35 minutes you can cut the finished aromatic pastries into portions and serve with a cup of homemade baked milk, jelly, cappuccino or tea.

The pie turns out very filling and tasty. Currant berries give it a pleasant light sourness and delicate aroma. If you don’t have currants, you can add any fruit to the preparation. It can be fresh or stored cherries, strawberries, blackberries, bird cherries, pieces of apricots or small segments of a juicy apple. If you are adding frozen food to your dessert, prepare it ahead of time.

To do this, place the required amount of berries in a bowl and leave it indoors for 1-2 hours. During this period they will become soft. Strain the fruit through a sieve to remove excess liquid and use to create a quick French tart.
To enrich the taste and aroma of the finished treat, you can add a pinch of vanilla, crushed ginger powder, or a few drops of any flavoring you like.

Ingredients:

- 2 eggs;
- milk (150 ml);
- baking powder (1 tsp);
- oil (6 tbsp);
- berries (50-70 grams);
- flour (250 grams);
— granulated sugar (125 grams);
- a pinch of salt.

Preparation:

1. Turn on the oven (180 degrees). Mix flour and other dry products.

2. Combine the prepared products for the French delicacy and pour neutral oil.

3. Add raw eggs into the container with the preparation.

4. Connect the components using a spoon or spatula.

5. Pour the prepared milk into the container with the food.

6. Combine all the ingredients for a quick French pie.

7. Pour the prepared mixture into the mold and cover the crust with berries. The whole process will not take us more than 4-6 minutes.

The pie is reminiscent of the familiar “Berry Basket”. The good thing about this recipe is that you can use any berries as a filling and it will turn out different every time.

  • 120 g butter

  • 80 g sugar

  • 1 egg

  • 150 g flour

  • 60 g potato starch

  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar

  • 1 tsp baking powder

Filling:

  • 250 grams of mixed berries (I took strawberries, blueberries and red currants)

  • 40-50 grams of water

  • 80 g sugar

  • 40-50 g potato starch

Decoration:

  • berries and powdered sugar

Preparation
1.Filling: Place berries, water and sugar in a saucepan. Add starch little by little, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon. When the mixture begins to boil a little, remove from the stove and place in a sink (or bowl) with cold water to cool faster.
2. Dough: beat sugar and butter. Add eggs one at a time, beating the mixture well each time. Through a sieve, gradually add flour, starch, vanilla sugar and baking powder. Knead the dough. Place the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
3. Cover the mold with baking paper, grease with oil. Divide the dough into 2 parts. Distribute one part over the bottom and sides of the mold.
4. Place the berry filling on the dough and smooth it out. Roll out the second part of the dough a little with a rolling pin and place it on the filling, pressing it a little at the edge of the mold with your fingers.
5. Preheat the oven to 175 C. Bake the pie for 45-50 minutes. at the lower level. Cool the pie
6. If desired, decorate with berries and powdered sugar.

A friend of mine, who recently returned from a trip to the south of France, brought with her this recipe - it is very simple, and the pie turns out light and is eaten in an instant :) To be fair, it is worth noting that in the original it is prepared only with apples and exclusively with high-quality butter oil, but the adapted summer version is also incredibly good! Especially during the berry season - we will cook with only apples in the winter :) Enjoy watching!

For the test we will need:

100 g of butter or margarine - for everyone: butter gives a denser dough structure, margarine makes it more crumbly. This time I cooked with margarine.

2 cups of flour

30-40 ml of water, depends on the flour, add water little by little and knead - the dough should set and become elastic.

Margarine or butter should be softened

Select the required amount of margarine or butter

Add flour

Mix with a fork

Knead the dough, adding water little by little.
At this stage I had an active assistant :)

This is how beautiful the dough should be - it kneads very quickly, especially with four hands :)

Place the dough in a greased form and level it over the entire surface, do not forget to form the walls - the berries give juice

Slice the apples thinly and place them thickly on the bottom

At this point, the French stop, sprinkle with powdered sugar and put it in the oven. And we will add a variety of summer berries - oh and the colors, oh and the aroma!! I have here: blueberries, black and red currants, raspberries and cherries. Except for blueberries, all the berries were picked with my own hands yesterday at my mother’s dacha :) Beautiful, isn’t it?

Sprinkle generously with powdered sugar - the berries are sour :) By the way, I mix the powdered sugar with starch in advance - then the berry juice does not spread and the surface of the pie acquires a noble shine :)

Place all this beauty in the oven at 180 degrees for 35-40 minutes

And here he is, a handsome French man in our style :)

The pie flew away in one go - next time I'll make a double portion :)
