Kinder cake

Certainly, Kinder and chocolate cake- a long-awaited gift for every child. For each child's birthday, a wide variety of gifts awaits him - dolls, soft toys, felt-tip pens and pencils, among them there will be sweet gifts. And we decided that even for children's gifts it is necessary to make original packaging, so we will decorate chocolate eggs with a surprise and candies in the form of a large cake. This design option will be useful to you if you are preparing a surprise for the New Year, for March 8, or for Angel Day. This design has one more advantage - you can place any present inside the cake, for example, hide a soft toy or a set of stationery.

On the Internet you can find many options for what it might look like. DIY kinder cake completed. Some ideas seem very complex, almost impossible to implement at home, but rest assured that at home you can independently bring any idea to life. And for this you will not need any special tools, special materials or skills to work with it. As a rule, the frame is made using paper and cardboard, and the main decorative element is chocolate eggs and chocolates. Additional materials are also used for decoration, such as satin ribbons, butterflies and flowers, to make the cake look truly festive and unique.

The amount of materials needed directly depends on the size of your gift, but even if you first buy an insufficient number of kinders, you can always send it to the supermarket to buy the required amount. Please note that you will have to work with a “material” that is easily deformed; if handled carelessly, the chocolate shell can easily break. In addition, if the room is too hot, the chocolate may begin to melt, so it is recommended to store all purchased surprises in the refrigerator until they are attached to the base, and also store the finished cake in the refrigerator until you go to the party.

For the base you will need thick cardboard and paper, regular PVA glue and a glue gun. In the process of work, you cannot do without simple tools - scissors, a ruler and a simple pencil in order to correctly measure the material for the base. Small Kinder milk chocolates will be used as the main decorative element; we will cover the entire base with them, and surprise eggs will decorate the top of the cake.

You can decorate the finished surprise for a child with lace, satin ribbons and bows. For example, if the main gift for the holiday will be earrings for your beloved daughter, then a box with earrings in the shape of a bunny or a heart can be placed on the top, and the surprise eggs themselves can be placed in the middle of our homemade box, or vice versa, i.e. hide the gift itself inside the cake.

Sweets are always waiting for us under the Christmas tree, but you can make it in the form of a birthday cake, decorated with surprise eggs and chocolate bars.

DIY kinder cake

The first step is to decide on the size of our base. Kinder chocolates can be placed in one row or in two; you can make a cake in several tiers, in which case each layer is formed separately, and then they are assembled together. Our kinder cake will be small in size, and the chocolates will be in one layer and positioned vertically. It is necessary to measure the height of the chocolate bar on the cardboard, adding 1-1.5 cm, in order to then glue the base from below. On one side along the entire length you need to mark the teeth and carefully cut them with scissors.

The resulting cloves should be bent. We will use this part to form the high sides of our cake, which we will then decorate with chocolates. All that remains is to make the bottom, for this it is better to take thick cardboard and cut out a circle, its diameter should be one centimeter larger than the resulting cylinder of thick paper. Next, glue a paper tube onto the cardboard circle using teeth, each of which should be smeared with a small amount of glue. The resulting workpiece must be left alone for a while so that the glue dries.

For the lid, you need to cut a circle from cardboard; its diameter should be slightly larger than the first circle that we cut out earlier. You should also cut out a long strip of paper, one side of which is then cut into teeth and glued to the circle. In this case, the width of the strip should be small - only a couple of centimeters.

We will attach the chocolates to the base using a thin rubber band: the first chocolate bar should be attached to the base and tie a rubber band (not tightly) around the middle. Next, you need to place other Kinder chocolate bars under the rubber band until they cover the entire surface of the tube in a circle.

You can see kinder cake photo and make sure that then the rubber band will not be visible and will not spoil the look of the finished surprise. After all the preparations, we will hide the elastic band behind a satin ribbon, which we will tie around the cake. This kind of fastening will be enough to keep the chocolates on the workpiece, and if you glue them with glue, then it will be difficult to separate them from the paper base, and their packaging will tear.

Now we move on to the final stage, how to make a kinder cake: decoration. The lid can be decorated with lace or miniature flowers can be made using satin ribbons or corrugated paper. The internal cavity can be decorated with satin fabric of a delicate color. Decorating a cake depends on your imagination, because for this you can use various materials and elements that you have on hand. In our case, in the center of the lid there will be a miniature box for jewelry - a small bunny, in which the main gift for the baby - earrings - will be hidden. And we’ll hide kinder surprises inside, after which you can close the lid and decorate the cake with satin ribbons on top.

- candle (for decoration)
- satin or grosgrain ribbon (for decoration).

How to make a kinder chocolate cake with your own hands:

First we need to make the basis for our future souvenir cake from 2Kinder.” To do this, take a piece of polystyrene foam or penofol, 5 cm thick. If you have polystyrene foam 3 cm thick, then make it from two pieces, gluing them together. Cut out a circle of the desired size. I cut out a circle about 13.5cm.

To make the cake, I use two colors of corrugated paper - red and cream. From light-colored corrugation, cut out two circles equal to the diameter of the workpiece.

From red corrugation we cut a strip with a width equal to the width of the workpiece plus 2-3 cm, and a length equal to the length of the workpiece (along the entire circumference)

I placed a few handfuls of glazed peanuts on top of the kinder cake.

And she stuck a candle in the center.

Finally, I tied a ribbon around the cake.

Almost all children love sweets. Taking care of their children's teeth, parents and other relatives prefer to buy kinder chocolates, candy bars and chocolate eggs. However, instead of buying just a set of chocolates in a box, many people prefer to make original gifts from kinders in the form of three-dimensional compositions or some objects: a car for a boy, a basket of flowers for a girl.

Buy a ready-made set: pros and cons

You can order a souvenir from kinders from a company specializing in gifts and floristry. You bring sweets, say what you want, and after a couple of days you pick up the finished object. However, it is cheaper and more pleasant to make everything yourself. By the way, some options are suitable not only for a children's party, but are quite appropriate for a family celebration or as a gift for an adult.

Gifts from Kinder Surprises (photo)

With your own hands you can make completely different compositions and objects. For example, these:

The choice depends on the amount you have allocated for the purchase of materials and the amount of time you are willing to spend on gifts from kinders. The more sweet elements you can purchase, the more impressive the product will be, but it can take more than one hour to create, and it will also require enough patience and desire to create a special souvenir.

Tools and materials

To make voluminous ones of some complex shape, you will need not only sweets, but also frame elements. So, prepare the following:

  • Chocolate eggs, chocolates, bars.
  • Can be supplemented with any others.
  • Hot-melt gun or glue.
  • Cardboard.
  • Wooden sticks (skewers for kebabs).
  • Wire.
  • Pencil.
  • A ruler.
  • Eraser.
  • Decor (flowers made of paper, fabric, satin ribbons, leaves, corrugated paper).

The specific set depends on what exactly, for whom and for what holiday you are going to perform.

Bouquet of chocolate eggs

If you want to make romantic and feminine gifts from Kinder Surprises, the photo below will easily become a sample for you.

To make a bouquet reminiscent of a composition of tulips, work like this:

  1. Buy the required number of chocolate eggs, the corresponding number of colored napkins and wooden skewers.
  2. If you use corrugated paper instead of napkins, it will need to be pre-cut. In general, you can make petals of any flower from it.
  3. Wrap the chocolate egg in a napkin and secure it at the bottom with a wire or skewer.
  4. Wrap the skewer in a strip of green paper, securing it in several places with glue.
  5. Cut leaves from green paper and attach to the stems. It is also easy to make sepals if you have flowers other than tulips.
  6. Arrange the composition in a vase; it is also easy to arrange it with kinder chocolates based on a frame from a round box or a home-made blank from a circle and a cardboard strip.

DIY gifts from Kinder and sweets: machine

Buy sets of chocolates, several bright candies in shiny foil of the appropriate size and suitable shape for headlights and glasses. If you can't find the wheel candy you need, use round cookies wrapped in cling film or foil.

All children love sweets and toys, so one of the most popular gifts for kids is a kinder surprise. Of course, you can just buy a chocolate egg (or several) and give them in a bag, or you can do it differently by making an original gift from kinders.

Making a cake

It’s very easy to make your own “cake” from Kinder chocolates and chocolate eggs. For this original birthday gift you will need:

  • several rectangular “kinder chocolate” chocolates, their number is determined by the desired size of the cake;
  • several chocolate eggs;
  • satin ribbon;
  • thick cardboard;
  • whatman;
  • glue, preferably PVA;
  • thin elastic band;
  • ruler, pencil, scissors.

In addition, you will need decor to decorate the cake, which will be discussed below.

First of all, you need to decide on the diameter of the cake; to do this, you need to lay out rectangular chocolate bars in a row and measure the length of the resulting “ribbon”.

Now, using a ruler and pencil, draw a rectangle on whatman paper, its length and width are equal to the length and width of the “ribbon” of chocolates, respectively. On the long side we make an allowance of 1.5 cm wide, and on one of the short sides - 1 cm.

Along the long side along the width of the allowance, draw teeth of arbitrary width. We cut out the blank, glue it along the short side, and bend the teeth towards the center of the resulting ring. Cut out a circle from cardboard, the diameter of which is 1 cm larger than the diameter of the Whatman ring. Glue the circle so that its center and the center of the ring coincide. This will be the bottom of our cake.

We put a thin elastic band on the Whatman paper ring and begin to insert chocolates under it, placing them tightly together. In this case, the lower part of the chocolate bar will rest on the protrusion of the cardboard bottom. We got a round box in which you can put chocolate eggs and any other candies.

Now you need to make the lid. To do this, you need to cut out another circle from cardboard with the same diameter as the bottom. Then cut out a 4 cm wide strip from thick paper, measure 1.5 cm on top, and cut out the cloves. Glue the strip to the lid blank.

All that remains is to decorate our lid; for this you can use colored paper, foil, fabric, lace, as well as rhinestones, beads, bows and flowers. We place the toy in the center of the lid; it can be secured with double-sided tape or sewn to the lid with a couple of stitches. If we are making a cake for a boy, we place a machine or robot on top. A gift for a girl can be decorated with a small soft toy or doll.

If desired, you can make a large cake with several tiers. The manufacturing technology is the same, you just need to make tiers of the cake of different diameters. The largest circle is located below, circles of smaller diameter are placed above.

If such a large cake is given, but inside its tiers, it will be possible to place not only sweets, but also any other things of the appropriate size that are planned to be given.

Gifts for adults

You can make a gift from kinders not only for children, but also for your girlfriend, especially if she has a sweet tooth. For example, you can present a girl with exactly the same cake as described above, only give a box with jewelry to the soft toy decorating the lid.

You can make a gift from a kinder surprise in the form of a bouquet of flowers. This is a wonderful souvenir for a woman of any age.

The easiest way is to make tulips from kinders. To make a flower, you can use two-layer plain napkins. To make a flower you need:

  • cut the napkin into four parts to make squares;
  • Place a chocolate egg in the center of the square with the pointed end down;
  • wrap the ends of the napkin at the opposite end of the egg;
  • Having trimmed the ends of the napkin, twist them and secure them with tape on a wooden skewer;
  • using green floral tape, wrap the skewer so that it resembles a tulip stem;
  • Cut out leaves from green colored paper and secure them to a skewer with tape.

Having made several of these flowers, you can put them in a vase or pack them in transparent paper, like a real bouquet.

If you want to surprise your girlfriend, you can make a more complex gift of chocolate eggs. Before you start making flowers, you need to do the following:

  • Carefully remove the wrapper from the chocolate egg (it will need to be reused);
  • Using a sharp knife, divide the egg strictly in half (along the “seam”);
  • remove the container with the toy;
  • The toy can be used at your own discretion, for example, given to nephews. And in the empty container, put a note with declarations of love or a small photo of your girlfriend with the comments “the most beautiful.” You can also place the ring in a container with a marriage proposal;
  • Now comes the hard part, you need to assemble the egg so that it does not look damaged. To do this, place the container with the note in one half, then run a hot knife along the edges of the chocolate egg halves, and immediately connect the halves. The melted chocolate will form a new “seam” and the egg will appear intact;
  • Now you need to wrap the finished egg in a wrapper, and then use it to make a bouquet, as described above.

So, you can make very original gifts from chocolates and chocolate eggs. You just have to show your imagination and put in a little effort so that instead of a standard “candy” gift you get a real little masterpiece.

One brilliant foreigner once came up with the idea of hiding toys in chocolate eggs. They say he received a lot of money for his invention. It would be interesting to listen to the opinion of the owners of the company, if they looked at those wonderful structures that mothers are now building for their children from Kinders. Boats and hearts, hedgehogs and planes, faces, suns and many other crafts. Don’t know how to tinker with dough, but still want to prepare a gift yourself? Let's try it together!

General principles for making gift cakes from kinders

There are many options for decorating a kinder cake. Some products seem complicated, but this is only at first glance. In fact, making a kinder cake with your own hands is simple; the main thing is to choose the right material and build the very basis of such a product. To form cakes, special blanks are used, which are made of cardboard or polystyrene foam, fastening the material with hot glue, tape or PVA.

Corrugated paper is used to decorate the base. It stretches easily, which allows you to easily create any shape of the workpiece. In addition, such paper has one more quality: if its edge is slightly stretched in different directions, a nice frill is formed.

The chocolates are secured to the base with double-sided tape, and the outer protective layer of the adhesive tape is removed immediately before fixing the sweets to the frame. For decoration, take thin chocolates (sticks), packaged cakes, sweets in wrappers and eggs with the “Kinder” logo. Often the composition is supplemented, for example, with a jar of Nutella chocolate spread or other sweets to taste.

Kinder cakes are decorated with satin ribbons, beads, lace and all kinds of accessories, which can be purchased at the nearest craft store. The tops of cakes intended for girls are decorated with artificial flowers or soft toys.

DIY New Year's cake made from kinders as a gift for a child

What you need for work:

16 small chocolates (sticks);

One egg;

Chocolate figurine of Father Frost or Snow Maiden;

Styrofoam;

White corrugated paper;

Wide double-sided tape;

Red satin ribbon 0.5 cm wide;

PVA emulsion (thick glue);

Glitter (white).

Two small Christmas balls;

Thin brush for painting;

Small red beads;

Fir cone;

Glue gun;

Organza ribbon;

Red “rain” (tinsel);

Small decorative snowflakes.

Progress:

1. First of all, you need to make the base of the cake. To do this, cut out a circle with a diameter of 9 cm from polystyrene foam. It is advisable that the height of the workpiece corresponds to the length of the chocolate bar that will be used to cover the base, but you can make it 1 cm lower. It is better to take polystyrene foam 3 cm thick and cut out two identical circles from it, which glue together using a glue gun.

2. On corrugated paper, using a compass, draw two circles. One, with a diameter of the workpiece - 9 cm, and the second a little larger: 10.5 cm and carefully cut them with scissors.

3. Using a glue gun, attach the larger circle to the bottom of the foam piece, and the smaller one to the top.

4. Then cut a strip 28 cm long and at least 8 cm wide from the same corrugated paper and secure it around the foam base with hot glue. Lightly stretch the protruding edge with your fingers to create a beautiful frill.

5. Now you need to attach tape in a circle to the finished workpiece. To ensure that the chocolates stick well, it is better to take a wide strip of tape and secure it in the center of the base. It is better to fix thin tape on the bottom and top of the foam cylinder.

6. Gradually remove the top protective strip of tape and attach the chocolates. Glue the “sticks” directly to each other, leaving no gaps between them and be sure to make sure that the inscriptions on the wrappers face only one direction.

7. Apply a small drop of hot glue in the middle of one of the chocolates and immediately press the edge of the white organza onto it. Using a slight stretch, wrap it around all the chocolates and secure the edge well with a gun, in the same place as the beginning. On top of the white one, fasten the red satin ribbon in the same way.

8. String the Christmas balls onto a satin ribbon and secure by tying a tight knot. Then make a beautiful bow, trim off the excess edges and secure it with a gun at the junction of the ribbons. You can glue a white organza bow on top of the red bow.

9. Glue snowflakes on the ribbons with a slight indentation from each other, and beads in their center.

10. Mix glitter with PVA emulsion or glue based on it and, using a thin brush, carefully apply the cones to the petals, let dry. The remaining mixture can be used to color the balls.

11. Attach tinsel along the edge of the top circle of the cylinder, in front of the paper frill. Fix the egg and Santa Claus in the center with hot glue, and in front of them - a cone decorated with sparkles.

What you need for work:

Two round cardboard or foam bases, of different heights and diameters;

Crepe paper in two colors;

Several sticks of glue and a heat gun;

Satin ribbon, matching the paper;

White organza ribbon;

2. When the part is ready, use its template to prepare a second one and draw windows on both.

3. After this, cut out a long strip of the same cardboard, exactly 5.5 cm wide, and secure it with construction tape between the side parts.

4. Place the blank on the cardboard, trace it with a pencil and cut it along the contour - this will be the bottom of the car. Attach it to the machine.

5. Cover the resulting cake blank with thick white paper.

6. Attach a long strip of double-sided tape to the bottom of each chocolate bar, then glue them to the made frame. Remove the top layer of tape immediately before fixing the chocolate bar. Do not cover the “windows” with chocolate.

7. Using red tape, fixing it with hot glue, decorate the windows and the machine itself along the contour. Attach eye-shaped fittings to the front windows, and secure the chocolate medals (wheels) with double-sided tape.

8. You can place this cake on a stand made of cardboard and covered with foil. The machine is attached, like chocolate, with tape.

DIY kinder cake - making tricks and useful tips

Do not use hot glue to attach chocolates. The delicate packaging wrapper will be removed when the chocolate bar is separated from the base of the cake.

To prevent the chocolate from melting in a warm room, it is recommended to keep it in the refrigerator until it is fixed.

When making a kinder cake with your own hands, you can decorate the product to your taste, complementing the decor with candles, numbers, bows or other sweets. Two-tier cakes look original if you scatter multi-colored peanuts in glaze or put Raffaello candies in the free space between the tiers.
