Thanks to spices, thin products made from whole grain flour are moderately spicy, and a large number of seeds and sesame makes them even more healthy and tasty.

The recipe allows for a lot of freedom of action. You can use different types of flour, bran, all kinds of cereal flakes, and pumpkin seeds, peanuts, and other nuts as additives. It is permissible to select spices according to your taste.

Cereal crackers are good either on their own or combined into something. For example, they can be served with cream soup or offered to guests as an appetizer with a variety of sauces, confitures, dips, or prepared into small snack sandwiches. A couple of crackers for tea at lunch or as an afternoon snack will help you wait until your next meal without overeating. Among other things, these cookies are convenient to take with you on a picnic, on the road, or to give to your child at school.

Ingredients

  • whole grain rye flour 140 grams
  • oat flakes 120 grams
  • sunflower seeds, peeled 100 grams
  • sesame 40 grams
  • flax seeds 20 grams
  • olive oil 3 tbsp. spoons
  • salt 1 teaspoon
  • dried paprika 1 teaspoon
  • dried dill 1 teaspoon
  • dried garlic 0.5 tsp
  • water 400-420 ml.

    First prepare the base - mix flour and water.

    Add salt, paprika, dill and garlic to the mixture.

    Then add oatmeal to the mixture and stir until smooth.

    Next add sesame and flaxseed.

    Then add the peeled sunflower seeds.

    At the very end, add butter to the dough and mix thoroughly.

    Distribute the resulting dough onto two baking sheets, carefully lined with parchment. It's not too thick, so you can handle it very easily.

    Place the baking sheets in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 10 minutes. If you bake two baking sheets at the same time, use the convection mode.

    After 10 minutes, the cakes will set, so you can take them out and cut them into portioned squares (rectangles, triangles - as you like).

    Then return the crackers back to the oven and bake for another 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Finished products should be crispy.

    Once cool, transfer crackers to an airtight container. This way they can be stored for a very long time.
