    Roll out 2/3 of the puff pastry into a moderately thin layer and place it on a special mold with a diameter of 22 cm. We create sides approximately 2 cm high. Excess, too long parts can be cut off

    Fry until the onion becomes soft and golden brown.

    Preparing the filling:

    Break three eggs.

    Add 4 tbsp. sour cream, beat until smooth.

    Pour in the grated cheese and stir. The filling is ready.

    Roll out the pre-thawed puff pastry.

    Add fried onions.

    Pour in the prepared egg-cheese mixture.

    Can be baked. Or you can decorate the pie with a “net” of leftover dough, placing strips of dough crosswise.

    Place the pie in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes. To make the pie more golden brown, the dough “net” can be greased with an egg or the rest of the filling, 10 minutes before the pie is ready.

    Heat a small amount of vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the onion in it until golden brown.

Place the product in the oven and bake until golden brown, then reduce the temperature to 170 degrees and keep cooking some more 30-40 minutes. After cooking, the onion puff pastry pie needs to be cooled; to do this, remove it from the oven and wait until the product reaches room temperature. That's all!
