First of all, it is necessary to prepare the crown of the future product. To do this, a plastic ball is wrapped with threads, onto which coffee beans will then be glued. It is important to leave a hole on one side of the ball into which the barrel will be inserted.

When wrapping the ball, you need to ensure that the threads cover the entire surface of the plastic, otherwise it will be difficult to stick the coffee to its surface.

The next step is to glue coffee beans onto the surface of the ball. PVA glue is used for this, although it is much easier and more convenient to use a glue gun. This will allow you to quickly apply glue to the surface of the threads, so that you can then cover it with coffee beans.

Step-by-step process of making coffee tree:

Making a trunk for a coffee tree. Measure the length you need. It depends on the height of the pot and the size of the tree. You can make the trunk straight, but I suggest making it wavy. Apply glue to the wire and wrap it with twine.

Select the required size of the ball and make a puncture with the same wire wrapped in twine.

Cover the ball with fabric so that the red color does not show through (I took brown nylon).

We begin to cover the ball with coffee beans. I glue the grains on different sides.

Our ball is covered with grains. We leave it to dry.

While it is drying, we make a ladder of wooden skewers for fairy-tale characters.

Pour alibastra powder into the pot. Pour some water. Stir well. Place the tree trunks and ladder in the center of the pot and hold them in position until the alabaster sets. This will take a few minutes.

I cut thin strips from green paper.

I crush it a little with my hands and turn it into grass. I hide alibastra with our weed.

• polymer glue;
• plaster or alabaster.

Cut a piece of wire to the desired length. Wrap it tightly with brown wool threads and secure with a drop of glue. Apply glue to the paper base and attach the coffee beans to it, placing them as tightly as possible. They can be glued in one or two layers. After drying the heart blank, fasten it on a wire coated with glue. If it does not hold tightly enough, you can fix the paper heart with brown plasticine, hiding the attachment point under a silk ribbon tied in a bow.

Pour the diluted alabaster into the pot, place a wire support in it and hold until the composition has completely hardened. Cover the surface with coffee beans, strengthening them with drops of glue.

The topiary heart can be decorated with rosettes made of silk ribbon or a cute bow at the base of the trunk. Rhinestones or artificial pearls look very impressive. Let's begin the work by making the topiary crown. It consists of a ball and a barrel.
We make a ball from newspapers and sewing threads. We crumple the newspaper, giving it a round shape. We rewind each layer of newspaper with threads, constantly leveling it and giving it the shape of a ball. The diameter of the ball should be approximately 12-13 cm.

We tear the paper into pieces and cover the ball. We do this to make the surface of the ball more even.

We make a cross-shaped cut on the ball, a tree trunk will be inserted into it.

Add a little coffee to the PVA glue and coat the ball with the resulting brown glue so that it is the same color as the coffee beans, in this case there will be no “holes” or unwanted gaps on the product. When we glue the grains, the base will be visible, therefore, by painting it to match the coffee, the base will not show through so much. Give it time to dry thoroughly.

Let's start making the barrel. We take the wire, fold it several times, since it is thin, and give it the shape of a snake.

Take a strip of paper, fold it lengthwise into three layers and wrap it around the snake.

Having wrapped the snake completely along its entire length, lubricate it well with PVA glue and let it dry. This is done to make the snake more rigid.

We try on the resulting stem and determine the height. If necessary, the barrel can be shortened. We wrap the trunk with twine. This is what a snake barrel looks like.

We insert a tree trunk into the cut of the ball. If necessary, secure with a glue gun around the barrel.

In a disposable cup, dilute the plaster with water to a creamy consistency and fix the crown in it.

Let's move on to the most interesting and painstaking task - gluing the grains. We will glue it using a glue gun.
We select grains that are even and identical in size. We try to glue grain to grain. Coffee beans should be placed as close to each other as possible. If you can't do this with your fingers, use small tongs.

This is what happened.

We look where the base is visible and glue the second layer of coffee beans. When the second layer of grains is glued, the surface texture will become more interesting, more prominent, and the tree itself will look more noble.

Having completed the design of the crown with grains, the tree can be “planted” in a pot. We use an ordinary simple glass as a pot. Take a piece of burlap 4cm wide and glue it along the edge on the inside of the glass.

Fold the burlap down.

Apply glue to the bottom of the glass using a glue gun, and glue our topiary to the bottom of the glass.

Pour coffee beans into the free space of the glass.

Let's decorate the topiary with a decorative element. Take a piece of burlap 10 cm long and 3 cm wide. We pull the threads from the middle of the strip.

Fold the blank in half and make a stitch.

We tighten the threads and form a flower.

We take 10 threads that were pulled out of the burlap, tie them into a bundle, and make them of different lengths.

Using a glue gun, glue the coffee beans to the threads. Glue the two grains together by inserting a burlap thread between them.

I have a tree in my office at home, where I am already absolutely calm). Such “homemade products” are a good decoration for both the room as a whole and the desktop.

The manufacturing technology is not difficult, and this process does not require any large material costs, so you are quite capable of making a coffee tree. It is necessary, firstly, to decide on the height of the future tree. It must be taken into account that its center of gravity will be shifted upward. Based on this, a “blank” for the stand (pot) is selected. You can use a tin can, a plastic cup (just a thick one), whatever.

Procedure for making a coffee tree

The barrel is made from a simple stick, and it doesn’t matter which one you choose. Some people use a piece of a tree branch, some use an ebonite rod, and some use a wooden stick. An ordinary pencil will also come in handy if the tree is small. According to your taste, this stick - the “trunk” of the tree - is wrapped with what. You can use thick woolen thread or twine. The stick is tightly wrapped with the selected material, and the end of the winding is fixed. The end must be left free, since the tree will be in a pot. That's it, the tree trunk is ready.

Next, the “crown” of the tree is made. There are also many options. It is necessary to prepare the crown frame before making external decoration. The frame is needed in the form of a ball. A plastic tennis ball from a set of children's toys will do. You can roll it out of paper (old newspapers).

This is done like this:

• A small newspaper ball is rolled up.
• Then it is wrapped with thick thread and coated with glue (so as not to unwind). You can wrap several layers around the ball in this way.
• The last layer must be wrapped in dark paper so that later white spots do not show through on the tree crown. It also needs to be wrapped and “glued over”. When the ball dries, the entire structure can be assembled.
• You need to make a hole in the ball (paper, plastic, etc.) into which the prepared barrel will then be inserted.

Now all that remains is to assemble the trunk and crown frame. Thus the tree is made. All that remains is to design the crown itself. For this you will need whole coffee beans. It is necessary to pay attention to the fact that on one side each grain has a furrow, and along its length it is slightly curved. Therefore, it is better to glue the first layer of grains in such a way that the grooves are attached to the surface of the ball.

This work is quite labor-intensive. You need the grains very tightly, right next to each other, one at a time. There should not be any large gaps between them. You should not use glue that turns white after drying, like office glue. Otherwise, the finished crown will be completely covered with white “cracks.” After the first layer of grains has been glued, you can begin to glue the second. Only now the grooves should look outwards, that is, the grains should be “backwards”.
