Children's oatmeal cookies recipe up to 1 year. Baking with oatmeal. Delicious cookies for children. Video: Children's cookies for children

How does your baby feel about oatmeal? Not really, huh? But oats are very useful for a growing body. The optimal ratio of essential elements makes oats a favorite product of healthy eating enthusiasts. We, as loving parents, want our children to eat only the healthiest foods. But our wants do not always coincide with the desires of our children. Or rather, everything happens ridiculously the other way around.

They push the healthiest buckwheat porridge to the edge of the table. Oatmeal, the best breakfast on planet Earth, is offered to a cat. On the contrary, they themselves are ready to take the sausage away from the cat.
But homemade cookies made from the same “Clear Sun” oatmeal are a completely different matter.

Homemade oatmeal cookies include:

  • 150 g softened butter
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 2 cups oatmeal
  • 1 cup flour
  • half a cup chopped walnuts
  • ½ tsp soda and ½ tsp citric acid.

It must be said right away that these oatmeal cookies can be offered to children from 3 years old. The presence of honey and nuts does not exclude the possibility of allergies. Adding sugar also makes its own adjustments for those who have problems with cholesterol, blood sugar levels and liver problems in general.

Turn on the oven before working with the dough. Kneading the cookie dough doesn't take much time, and the oven has time to warm up.

Rub softened butter with sugar. Add eggs, honey, soda with citric acid to the mixture and grind everything again.

In a separate bowl, combine oatmeal, flour and chopped walnuts.

Now add all this to the oil. The dough for our cookies is ready. It should not be too steep, otherwise the cookies will turn out hard.

Drop the dough using a teaspoon onto a paper-lined sheet. Don't try to shape the dough into any shape. When baked, all these supposed balls will turn into almost perfect cakes.

Oatmeal cookies are baked for about 15 minutes. You yourself will know when they are ready: by the smell, by the color, by the mood.
Interestingly, the beneficial properties of oats are not lost during heat treatment. Therefore, oatmeal cookies are not made with any additives. Various nuts, dried fruits, fresh berries and fruits, chocolate, bran - there are so many variations.

But the honey that we added to oatmeal cookies will not bring anything useful to the body, because heat treatment has a bad effect on its medicinal properties. But the aroma and sweetness characteristic of honey remained. What else do you need to make your hand reach out for the next cookie?

These cookies go great with butter. Brush the oatmeal with butter and place the two cookies together. This is very tasty, just a cake. Tell me, what kind of oatmeal for breakfast can compete with such a miracle?

Making oatmeal cookies that kids will love is easy. And today I will tell you how to do this.

First you need to stock up on the necessary products, it is very important that they are of high quality. We use butter; no margarine or spread will do. You can use any oat flakes, in this case I chose small, quick-cooking ones. What about seeds and what are they for? But here everything is simple. A child's growing body simply needs a complex of vitamins and minerals, of which flax seeds and sesame seeds are in large quantities. They give the cookies a piquant touch and make their crust crispier, but the inside still leaves the baked goods soft and tender.

I am sure that many people will like children's oatmeal cookies. I recommend trying it!

What kind of cookies can a 2 year old child eat?

From the age of 2, children can be offered cookies “for adults”, that is, absolutely any cookies are suitable for them, but in an amount of no more than 60 g per day. But it’s still better that the cookies are more bland and do not burden the baby’s stomach.

Also monitor your baby’s reaction to cookies with additives - nuts or dried fruits. Since children sometimes have allergic reactions to such components.

You should be careful with crumbling products, as a child can easily choke on them. Be attentive to your baby and spoil him more often with cookies, the recipes for which we have offered you.

Video: Children's cookies for children

The menu for toddlers under one year of age is not very diverse, so absolutely all children are happy to try new products and enthusiastically feast on sweet cookies, even store-bought ones. Do you also think that nothing could be more appetizing than cookies for dessert, especially with juice or milk?

Any mother sincerely wants to feed her child tastier. Baked goods prepared by mother’s caring hands according to a home recipe will always be tastier and healthier than store-bought ones.

Using your imagination, you can make homemade cookies that will be many times healthier and tastier than store-bought ones.

At what age can children be given cookies?

From about 3-4 months of age, the baby strives to put everything he can reach into his mouth - fingers, toes, rattles. The young researcher is not hungry, this is how he learns about the world around him. When a crust of bread, a cracker or a cookie falls into his hands, it’s a matter of time. In this case, the products from which the cookies are made play an important role.

Raisins, poppy seeds, and nuts are often added to store-bought cookies, which can cause a baby to choke. Margarine and various dyes, flavors and preservatives should not be present in food products for children. Therefore, factory-made cookies are not suitable for babies 1 year of age. The exception is special children's cookies (“Baby”, “Heinz”, “Baby”) - soft, quickly dissolved by saliva. In the absence of negative reactions to the ingredients, the daily allowance of flour for a 6-7 month old child is from 3 to 5 g, and by the age of one year, 10-15 grams of cookies are allowed.

Cookies are not included in infant nutrition. A very small amount of sugar in the first months of life disrupts the formation of the immune system. Grandparents are wrong to believe that there is nothing wrong with giving a 3-5 month old baby cookies from the store. The first chewing movements appear at the age of about six months; it is from this time that it is allowed to give crackers or cookies. From 6 months, the baby is able to hold a sweet treat in his hand and suck it, “biting off” small pieces with his gums.

It is important to remember that at any age, cookies, even diluted with milk, are a rare tasty delicacy, and not the main food; they should not replace mashed potatoes or porridge.

What to choose from ready-made products in the store?

Before you buy industrially produced cookies, you must remember that any type of baked goods can be an allergen and cause hypersensitivity. It is important to choose a product with a safe composition. Gluten (gluten) is a cereal protein present in wheat flour, which is not always absorbed by the digestive tract of a child under 1 year old, and therefore can disrupt digestion.

Basic rules for choosing ready-made cookies in the store:

  • Biscuits. Light dry cookies containing wheat flour and milk. If there are no allergic reactions to milk protein and gluten, it can be included in the diet of babies from 6 months. The lowest calorie of all types.
  • Oatmeal. Dry cookies containing oats and fats. Suitable for children from 8-9 months.
  • Straw. Baked from flour, water and fat and fried. Included in a child's diet no earlier than 1 year, not suitable for children with gastritis.
