Cardboard or thick sheet of paper

Glue gun or PVA glue

Shaped hole punch, optional

Pencil or pen

1. Make a cone out of a thick sheet of paper and secure it with glue.

2. Prepare pages from a magazine with bright pictures and cut out many circles of the same diameter from them. If you have a shaped hole punch (shaped like a flower or a large circle) it will be easier.

3. Wrap the cut circles around a pencil so that they curl a little.

4. Starting from the bottom of the cone, begin gluing the folded circles.

Make neat rows. The circles should be tightly glued to each other so that the cardboard is not visible.

5. Make a small cone from one circle and glue it to the top of the cardboard cone.

Large thick sheet of paper

Wrapping

Double tape

Scissors

Decorations

1. Make a cone out of a sheet of thick paper.

* If your wrapping paper is quite thick, you can bypass step 1 and make a cone out of wrapping paper.

1.1 Fold the paper diagonally, holding one end to keep it sharp.

1.2 Secure the paper rolled into a cone with tape. You don't need to do everything too carefully, since you will cover the cone with wrapping paper.

1.3 Trim off the excess at the bottom of the cone to create a smooth base.

2. Prepare colorful wrapping paper and cover the cone with it. To do this, place the paper on a flat surface with the pattern facing down.

2.1 Using tape, attach the end of the construction paper to the top of the cone.

2.2 Begin to slowly twist the cone while wrapping it in the wrapping paper. You need to wrap the cone tightly.

2.3 Measure the paper and cut it before completely wrapping it around the cone. Glue double tape to the edges and connect to the other end. You need to cut off the excess at the base so that the paper is even.

3. All that remains is to decorate the Christmas tree as desired. You can make paper stars, use glitter, stickers, glue on beads and/or buttons, wrap with ribbon, etc.

You will need:

Glue or double tape

Scissors

* Try using two colors of felt to make the Christmas tree even more beautiful. In this example, yellow and orange felt was used.

1. Make a cone out of cardboard. Secure the ends with glue or double tape.

2. Prepare felt and cut circles of different diameters from it, from small to large (see picture). You can use pre-prepared circle templates made from cardboard.

3. Glue Christmas tinsel to the bottom of the cone.

4. Now you need to make a cross cut in the center of each circle cut out of felt. Do not cut too much to prevent the felt garment from falling off. Make the cut just enough to fit the circle tightly onto the cone.

5. Start gradually putting circles on the cone. If you are using two colors, then put on the circles sequentially, first one color, then the other. Also worth noting. What to put on the next circle is not only on the cone, but also on top of the tips of the cuts of the previous circle.

6. We decorate the top of the Christmas tree. To do this, simply add tinsel, onto which you will need to add a pre-prepared small felt cone. Secure the tinsel and crown with glue.

* If you wish, you can hide a sweet gift inside the cone.

Creative DIY Christmas tree

If you want something original, or you simply don’t have enough space for a large Christmas tree at home, you can try making such a simple design.

It is worth noting that such a Christmas tree is suitable for any room. It can be done both at home with children and at work.

This tree can rise 1.5-2 meters and takes up almost no space in the house. In addition, it is a good background for New Year's photography.

You will need:

Foam base or matte cardboard

Scissors

Corrugated paper

Masking tape

Adhesive tape

PVA glue

Stationery knife

Marker, optional

1. Lay out foam or cardboard on a flat surface to create a large rectangle (see picture).

2. Use duct tape to connect all the parts.

*This example used black duct tape for better visibility, but white tape is better.

3. Mark the size of your future Christmas tree using masking tape.

4. Using a utility knife, carefully cut out the shape of the future tree.

5. Prepare corrugated paper, fold it in half and cut the fringe. You should have many sheets of fringed paper to cover the entire tree.

6. Begin carefully gluing the corrugated paper to the foam, starting at the base of the tree. The fringe should hang slightly below the base to cover the foam (or cardboard), and also slightly cover the top of the tree trunk, which we will make later.

7. Work your way up to the top, covering the entire tree with a bright green coat of crepe paper.

8. Add a hook to the back of the tree so the tree can be hung. Instead of a hook, you can use double tape to cover the perimeter of the tree.

Fluffy Christmas tree made of colored paper

A Christmas tree made from ribbons of colored paper turns out to be very elegant. To make such a New Year's beauty yourself you will need:

  • a cone made of thick cardboard;
  • colored paper;
  • PVA glue;
  • double sided tape.

First, you need to make a base for the Christmas tree; to do this, take a thick sheet of cardboard, roll it into a cone shape, securing it with glue. Then we make thin strips of colored paper, identical in length and width. Christmas trees made from green, red, silver and gold paper look very impressive. We attach the resulting loops to one side of the tape, and attach the other side to the cone in the direction from bottom to top. Thus, you get a funny fluffy Christmas tree.

Crooked sisal Christmas trees

Unusual serving of dishes always impresses guests and is remembered for a long time. Even traditional New Year's dishes can be served in such a way that they will seem original and taste unique. For example, you can arrange snacks in the shape of a Christmas tree. It will look atmospheric and impressive, and preparation will not take much time or special skills. the site offers you to choose the option that is most suitable for you.

Appetizers on skewers

A simple and at the same time very effective way to serve New Year's snacks - Christmas trees on a skewer. We cut sausage and ham of different diameters, twist them and string them on a skewer, alternating them with vegetables and cheese. We complete the composition with a cherry tomato and a star cut out of a cucumber. You can add a serpentine ribbon.

Another option is to string cucumbers cut into a thin longitudinal strip onto a stick; the skewer itself can be inserted into a cork or some edible base, for example, onto bread or cheese. We decorate the top with a snowflake or a star cut out of cheese.

Fruit and vegetable plates

Here you can give free rein to your imagination. For the base we use an apple and a carrot inserted into its core. We string the remaining fruits or vegetables onto toothpicks inserted into the base. It is important to maintain a cone-shaped shape, placing longer branches-skewers at the bottom, shorter ones at the top.

Pineapple can also serve as a base. The only difficulty is giving it the desired shape.

The Christmas tree can be flat, just lay out the cut pieces in the right order on a wide dish.

Cheese and appetizer platters

Any snacks can be laid out in the shape of a Christmas tree, but alternating cheese and grapes in the desired order looks especially impressive and appropriate. It turns out beautiful, compact and, of course, delicious.

Hunting sausages, olives, cherry tomatoes and crackers will also serve as excellent material for creating a New Year's composition. For ambiance, you can put live or artificial spruce branches between the layers.

Dessert

A mountain of pancakes - what could be more appetizing. If you bake them of different diameters and place them in order in a stack, then the outlines will immediately look like a spruce. You can decorate with berries, syrup, and colorful candies. The snow around the pancake tree can be perfectly imitated with whipped cream.

Cookies in the shape of Christmas trees are a New Year's classic that will never lose relevance. You can decorate with icing and multi-colored candies - you get sweet garlands and balls.

Pizza and sandwiches

Let's prepare the pizza by cutting the dough into a Christmas tree shape. Stars, balls, and tubes cut out of red and yellow peppers are suitable as decoration. The bean pods will give your Christmas tree a natural green color.

The idea is quite simple to implement, so every housewife can handle it. You can make such Christmas trees from anything, and on the New Year’s table they will look elegant, impressive and natural. Such trees (especially small ones) can decorate various dishes and snacks.

To create such Christmas trees you will need:

Fruits and vegetables to choose from: pickled or fresh cucumbers, cheese, sweet peppers, sausages, oranges, lemons...

Additional decor as desired: fresh herbs, olives, bright vegetables... - half an apple for the base

Wooden skewer (about 20-25 cm long)

The process of creating Christmas trees from vegetables and fruits:

First of all, let's prepare the base of our Christmas tree. To do this, cut the apple in half lengthwise. Take one half and turn it over on a plate, and insert a wooden skewer into the center (the sharp end should point up!).

Next, cut the appetizer, for example, pickled or pickled cucumbers. One Christmas tree will require about 2-4 cucumbers. You need to cut it diagonally and not very thinly (this applies specifically to pickled snacks, since they are soft). This way, the branches will not sag and you should get a beautiful shape.

Now start threading a slice of vegetable onto a skewer in a circle. Start with the largest pieces, gradually moving to smaller ones. String so that the most beautiful edge faces outward. It will look more beautiful if the skin on the outer edge of the piece is facing up.

Take the smallest cucumber, cut it in half and use it as the top. Anything goes here! You can cut a star out of a carrot, plant a small cherry tomato or olive.

Decorate the plate itself, for example, fresh herbs look great on the bottom.

By analogy, you can create a Christmas tree from fresh cucumbers, but you need to cut them a little thinner, as they will keep their shape well (Fig. 11).

Create Christmas trees not only from vegetables, but from fruits. You can use them as a decoration for desserts.

Such Christmas trees are quite convenient both to move (it’s just important to grab them by the apple and not by the stem) and to use. Simply remove the top of the Christmas tree and it is ready to eat.

Christmas tree made of fruits and berries.

It is advisable to do it before serving to preserve maximum freshness of the fruit. . Cut berries and fruits into small pieces. Grapes and strawberries can be left whole. Alternating fruits and berries by type and color, stick them in using toothpicks or skewers. Thus, fill the entire surface of the mold with fruits and berries so that it is completely hidden under the food. Try to alternate between brightly colored foods, such as strawberries, and pale ones, such as bananas. Cut a star from the peel of an orange or lemon and attach it to the top of your edible Christmas tree.
