Well, the promised little story of my winnings. During the “Find a Boss Pack” promotion, it was necessary to register cash receipts confirming the purchase of m&m’s; various store chains took part in the promotion, such as Pyaterochka, Lenta, Dixie, Metro. Each of the chains presented its own prizes, for example in Lenta you can was to win a card with a face value of 1000 rubles, which is what happened to me.

I registered on the site, then registered a check and the next morning I saw this inscription in my personal account, which meant that my check had won!

I waited for about three months for my prize and one fine day I received an SMS saying that a parcel weighing 50 grams had been sent to me. I roughly guessed what it could be, but I didn’t know for sure, since the sender was unknown to me. And so I received it! Between two pieces of cardboard there was a colored envelope with my card!

Well, after winning in Lenta, I won a promotion in Pyaterochka. According to the conditions of winning, I received a refund of the check amount. Today I received a letter in the mail

I don’t buy M&M’s dragees often, mainly during promotions. I myself prefer the one with peanuts, and my son also likes the classic one. Most often, it’s more profitable to take M&M’s in large packages, but to try a “new” taste, it’s enough small pack (36 grams). M&M's "Krispy" appeared on sale relatively recently, at least I already saw them in stores two or three months ago.

Since I don’t like puffed rice, I wasn’t in a hurry to buy it. Now this taste can be found in almost any large retail chain (Magnit, Pyaterochka, Metro, etc.). Not too long ago, in GM Metro, large packages of different flavors of 220 grams were at a good discount - only 99.99 rubles.

My son was interested in a new campaign involving the search for the Chocolate Boss. Conditions are in the photo below. Of course, I didn’t count on a prize, but the children fall for it.

220 grams of dragee is actually not that much (a small vase or bowl). The manufacturer states that this pack contains 6 servings, i.e. You can eat about 36.6 grams at a time.

You can divide a large package into several “portions” using glass jars if you want to treat someone (of course, the jars are thoroughly washed and processed). The large package has a ZIP fastener, since even an adult cannot eat such a volume at once. It can be enough for one child for a week if you control consumption (they are eaten unnoticed, because they are small).

There are 6 different colored dragees in total. In the New Year's series there was also white color, i.e. in the M&M's family, only 7 dyes are currently used. I think that over time other shades will appear. The letter "M" is applied with the same dye and on each of the dragees. The size of the dragees is different: somewhere larger, somewhere smaller , somewhere smoother, somewhere not so neat in shape, although in general, they all look the same, if you don’t look closely. In shape, they are somewhere between the “classic” chocolate flavor (the shape of “buttons”) and with peanuts (large round dragees), i.e. such small “round ones” (smaller than nut ones).

Dragees are suitable for decorating baked goods and desserts, but the paint on them can peel off/melt upon prolonged contact with cream or something wet (gel, jelly), so this is more of a pampering activity. It can also start to melt in your hands and stain your hands with dyes. By the way, not all food colors here are natural; there are also synthetic ones.

When you open the pack, you immediately hear the familiar nutty-chocolate aroma of M&M's dragees. Why nutty if there are no nuts in this taste? They decided to add hazelnut flavoring here for more taste and aroma.

In the new taste, I was rather wondering: what’s inside the dragee? Let's see:

Those. It turns out that the top layer is a crispy multi-colored glaze based on carnauba wax. When it gets into your mouth, the glaze begins to melt, followed by a layer of milk chocolate, much faster than the glaze, and what remains is a “ball” of puffed rice. It is not sweet, you can even feel the presence of salt a little. The taste is predominantly rice, although there is some wheat present as well. The “ball” (filling, core) is not very hard, but crispy. It does not put any stress on the teeth; when you lightly press the teeth, it cracks and dissolves in the mouth. You can simply put the dragee in your mouth and it will quickly melt on its own, or you can put it in your mouth and crunch without waiting for the candy to begin to dissolve in your mouth. In both cases, teeth do not hurt from such tablets, because... it is not harsh or harsh. The rice filling can get a little stuck in your teeth if there are natural cavities, so I would recommend at least rinsing your mouth after such a snack. Overall, the dragees turned out to be sweet and tasty, but not cloying. I would call them “obsessive”, like other pills, because one after another you can unnoticed eat more than planned. On the other hand, with small packs you cannot eat more than 36 grams, i.e. the dose is limited.

By the way, of all the M&M's Dragee analogues that I tried from Russian manufacturers, no one could outdo the M&M's (for some the filling was not very good, for others the glaze was too hard and tasteless). In my opinion, M&M's Dragees are the best of their kind, which is why they are eaten completely and do not lie for a long time. This dragee is produced here, in Russia, but the Mars company is American, so you wouldn’t be surprised at the inflated cost (if it were imported product, then the price would be even higher, I think).During promotions, I think that the price is close to adequate / I practically don’t take it without promotions.

The composition, of course, does not please with some ingredients, in particular: vegetable fats are contained everywhere (filling, chocolate, glaze). Dyes and flavors are, in principle, acceptable and I can’t imagine multi-colored dragees without them.

There were no problems with the gastrointestinal tract in our family from these pills. It is possible that something can happen with an “overdose” (you need to know when to stop), and besides, the composition contains butyrate (butyric acid).

In general, I liked the new product, despite the fact that I am indifferent to puffed rice, and in some cases (combinations) I don’t like it at all. My son also liked this taste, so it is possible that we will repeat the purchase from time to time. I will recommend it for testing as a “new product” (for general familiarization and comparison with other tastes). I still like it better with peanuts, but at the moment I’m trying to limit nuts in general, so the “crispy” option and the simple “classic” one are safer for the teeth (less chewing load).
