Cooking method:

  1. Cut boiled vegetables, eggs, cucumbers into fine cubes. Decorate the smoked meat into strips. Place everything in a salad bowl.
  2. Grind the cheese on a coarse grater and add it to the rest of the ingredients.
  3. Remove liquid from jar of peas and mix with remaining ingredients. At the end, add mayonnaise, salt and pepper and refrigerate for a couple of hours. Garnish with herbs and serve.

Olivier with smoked chicken and fresh cucumber

The recipe calls for fresh cucumber along with pickles. This gives the dish lightness in winter. Some people like to add dill.

For the salad you will need the following ingredients:

  • 3-4 potatoes;
  • 1 smoked breast;
  • 1 large carrot;
  • 1 onion;
  • 3-4 chicken eggs;
  • 2 fresh cucumbers and 2 pickled;
  • can of peas;
  • 3-4 tbsp. l. mayonnaise;
  • salt pepper.

Cooking method:

  1. Prepare potatoes, carrots, eggs - boil, cool and peel. Cut all products into squares the size of peas.
  2. Chop the onion. Form pickles into cubes. Peel the green ones and cut them the same way.
  3. All that remains is to prepare the chicken breast. First, layers are formed, then divided into strips, and cut into cubes. The products are mixed.

If the dish is not served immediately, then it is not seasoned with mayonnaise, but covered with cling film and sent to the refrigerator. It is not recommended to add a lot of mayonnaise sauce. Add a tablespoon and stir until the ingredients are visible. You can also add pepper or seasonings to taste.

It is pickles that shorten the shelf life of the dish. Therefore, you can mix cucumbers and peas in a separate bowl, and before serving, take a portion of eggs, meat, potatoes and carrots mixed with part of the cucumber and peas. Every Russian knows the taste of this salad first-hand. You can't go wrong if you cook a dish you know from childhood for a holiday. The only change we allowed ourselves to make to the Soviet recipe was to use chicken breast instead of sausage. Cooking:

  • Boil a chicken breast, three eggs, two potatoes and one carrot until tender.
  • Cut the cooled food into cubes and mix in a large salad bowl.
  • Add a can of canned green peas, three pickles (also diced) and half a chopped onion to the chicken and vegetables.

  • Boil fresh chicken breast in salted water until cooked.
  • Boil two hard-boiled eggs, one carrot and two potatoes in their jackets.
  • Cut one red onion, a large fresh cucumber, eggs, skinless chicken fillet and boiled vegetables into cubes.
  • Peel and core the apple and then grate it. Finely chop the green onions.
  • Add green peas and mix all products in a salad bowl with salt and mayonnaise.

  • Boil potatoes, carrots, eggs and chicken fillet until tender.
  • Boil shrimp (150 grams) in salted water.
  • Chop the onion, and cut the vegetables and meat into cubes.
  • Mix green peas and remaining ingredients well in a large saucepan. Add mayonnaise and salt.
