When the holidays are just around the corner, you immediately begin to look for new delicious recipes for appetizers for the holiday table. And here our website comes to the rescue, where you can find a lot of healthy recipes for the everyday table and for the holiday. Today we have prepared for you a unique original recipe for a lavash snack cake. It is prepared simply and quickly. And the final result will be simply stunning.

It is impossible to say for sure what the origin of this recipe is. But you can meet it not only in Russia, but also in other countries. This is not surprising, because the preparation uses the most basic products that are available in any store.

The only thing you should focus on is the pita bread. We will take thin sheets of pita bread so that we have something like cake layers. By the way, many housewives call this recipe exactly that – lavash cake.

Step-by-step preparation:

  1. So, first, let's prepare all the ingredients we have. Take 2 sheets of pita bread and cut it so that we get 8 pieces. That is, each sheet must be cut into 4 parts.
  2. Now take the onion, peel it and cut it into small cubes. Heat a frying pan and fry the onion in vegetable oil until golden brown.
  3. Wash the mushrooms thoroughly so that there is no sand or dirt left in them. Dry them on a towel. Remove all the stems and cut them together with the mushroom caps.
  4. Place the chopped mushrooms in the frying pan with the onions and fry with the lid open for 15 minutes over high heat. When the mushrooms are ready, add salt and pepper.
  5. The filling is ready. Now place one sheet of pita bread on a baking sheet. To prevent the pita bread from burning, place foil on a baking sheet or simply grease it with oil.
  6. Place a few spoons of mushroom filling on the first sheet of pita bread. Distribute them evenly.
  7. Place a second sheet on top and spread the filling again. Repeat all this until you run out of pita bread.
  8. Spread sour cream on top of the entire cake. Don't forget to coat the edges.
  9. Now take the cheese and grate it on a coarse grater. Sprinkle cheese on top. Place it in the preheated oven for 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and lightly browned.
  10. You can serve it cold, after cutting it into portions so that they can be easily taken.
  11. Garnish with fresh herbs.

Enjoy your meal!

Lavash roll with mushrooms and cheese can be made in very different ways. Today I offer you the most delicious option! Of course, it is so delicious, delicious just for me and my family. You may have other preferences. But... “if you haven’t tried it, don’t blame me!” (c) So you cook it, and then you can decide whether to write this recipe in your cookbook or not.

I made a pita roll with mushrooms using previously fried chanterelles. I really love these mushrooms. And in combination with onions and herbs they turn out even more fragrant! But you can use any mushrooms that you have on hand, including the most popular champignons. As for the type of mushroom processing, it is not necessary to use exclusively fried ones. You can take boiled, pickled, salted. Of course, the taste of the finished dish largely depends on the mushrooms, so choose the ones you like. Well, I took the usual hard cheese, Poshekhonsky, to accompany him. Any Russian one will do, Lambert.

In addition to these two main ingredients, I decided to put eggs in the lavash roll with mushrooms and cheese. But! Not boiled, but... fried! Believe me, the taste is completely different. And this is the first secret of preparation. How to fry? We won’t make fried eggs; they have absolutely no use here. I stirred and fried them lightly, just so they would set and not be soggy. But at the same time they were soft and tender. Therefore, it will take literally a couple of minutes to prepare.

Well, the second secret to making lavash roll with mushrooms is in the sauce. Of course, for coating, you can just use one mayonnaise, as I did in the case, or sour cream. But this time I took a different route - I combined mayonnaise with tomato paste. The result was a very tasty and moderately spicy sauce, which perfectly complemented all the other ingredients and prevented the roll from being dry!

Well, let's look in detail with step-by-step photos, and then immediately bake a delicious pita roll with mushrooms and cheese!

Ingredients:

  • thin Armenian lavash - 3 pieces, 40 g each
  • mushrooms - 120 g
  • cheese - 130 g
  • eggs - 3 pieces
  • mayonnaise - 3 tbsp.
  • tomato paste - 1 tbsp.
  • salt - a pinch
  • sunflower oil - 1 tbsp.

First of all, I fried the eggs in a well-heated frying pan with oil. As I already wrote, stirring until they just set and remain soft.

I grated the cheese on a coarse grater. Combine mayonnaise with tomato paste and stir until uniform in color.

I laid out the first pita bread. I coated it with sauce (half of the entire prepared mass).

Covered it with the second pita bread. Sprinkled it with 1/3 of the cheese.

Placed eggs on top.

I covered it with the third pita bread. I brushed it with the remaining sauce. I added mushrooms fried with onions and herbs.

Sprinkled with cheese, leaving a little for sprinkling on top.

I rolled the folded pita bread with filling into a roll. I tried to make it tight. Placed on a baking sheet, seam side down. Sprinkled the remaining grated cheese on top.

I put it in an oven already preheated to 200 degrees for 10 minutes. No longer needed!

That's all, a very tasty lavash roll with mushrooms and cheese is ready! You can immediately cut and serve hot;)

Save the recipe to your browser bookmarks or to the wall of any social network and cook according to it at a time convenient for you. The main thing is to do it with soul and love;)

Recently, lavash has gained great popularity (as an alternative to bread). This is especially true if we are talking about some kind of grill menu: kebabs, steaks, baked fish - lavash goes well with all these delicacies. But, besides this, you can make a wide variety of snacks from thin pita bread, for example, filled rolls. This appetizer will be a real decoration for any feast and will certainly please all guests.

The special beauty of this dish is that you can use a fairly large range of products as a filling, so you will certainly choose the option that will be optimal for you. I make lavash rolls very often and it’s even difficult to say right away which one I like best. But I know for sure: my guests especially like the lavash rolls with mushrooms and melted cheese. Perhaps the whole point is that this is a neutral appetizer, neither fish nor meat, but at the same time satisfying and tasty. I will be happy to share with you the recipe for my mushroom lavash roll, and I really hope that you will like my lavash roll with mushroom filling.

Ingredients:

  • 2 sheets of thin pita bread;
  • 1 onion;
  • 150 -200 g champignons;
  • vegetable oil for frying onions and mushrooms;
  • 50-70 g processed cheese;
  • dill greens;

How to prepare lavash rolls with mushrooms and melted cheese:

Peel the onion, cut it into half rings and saute until transparent and soft in a small amount of vegetable oil.

Add champignons, cut into thin slices, to the sautéed onions. And fry everything together over low heat, stirring occasionally, for 5-10 minutes.

Salt and pepper the mushrooms and onions, cool and cut into small pieces. One of the most important components of our filling for pita bread with mushrooms is ready.

By the way, about lavash. It must certainly be thin (it is also called Armenian) and have a rectangular or square shape. I prefer to make rectangular-shaped lavash rolls - this makes them easier to roll. The approximate size of such a sheet of lavash is 20x40 cm.

We grease one of the sheets of pita bread with paste-like processed cheese - half of the total amount.

Sprinkle finely chopped dill on top.

Then grease the second sheet of pita bread with the remaining melted cheese.

Place the second sheet (only with processed cheese) on the first (with processed cheese and dill), and then place chopped mushrooms and onions on top of the second sheet of lavash.

Carefully roll the filled pita bread into a fairly tight roll.

Snacks made from Armenian lavash can be considered universal: they will be relevant on weekdays, on holidays, for breakfast, for lunch, and for a picnic. And if you don’t know what interesting and unusual thing to prepare for the arrival of guests in order to “dilute” the traditional menu of “fur coat-Olivier-sandwiches-sliced food” - you can safely prepare lavash rolls with different fillings.

Today I bring to your attention an interesting selection of recipes for pita bread with mushroom filling. If you don't want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen, you can use pickled mushrooms as an appetizer. And if you have at least a little time, fry the mushrooms and onions in advance, so the filling will be more juicy and aromatic.

With mushrooms you can cook not only cold snacks in pita bread, but also hot ones. For example, a baked roll with mushrooms and cheese will be an excellent hot appetizer and an alternative to traditional julienne. In addition, if you show a little imagination and experiment with the filling, you can end up with almost culinary masterpieces, and this is all, mind you, from simple and inexpensive products.

Friends, it’s very interesting to know: what are your favorite fillings for lavash? Write to me in the comments on the website or on social networks, and also like and bookmark the page with recipes 💖

How to cook:

Mushrooms need to be fried in vegetable oil with onions in advance.

Cut the smoked leg into thin slices.

Grate the hard cheese onto the finest grater.

Unfold the lavash sheet on the table.

Spread the pita bread with cream cheese.

Sprinkle evenly with grated cheese.

Cover the top with a second sheet of lavash.

Then add the second pita bread, mushrooms and smoked chicken.

Juicy filling with crab sticks and mushrooms

Ingredients:

  • 1 thin pita bread measuring approximately 20 by 40 cm;
  • 100 grams of crab sticks;
  • 1-2 tbsp. mayonnaise;
  • 100 grams of pickled champignons;
  • 2-4 pieces of lettuce leaves.

How to cook:

Lubricate the surface of the pita bread with mayonnaise. I have a fairly even attitude towards this sauce, but if it is needed to prepare a dish, then I try to make mayonnaise myself. It's quite simple, but it turns out much tastier than store-bought mayonnaise.

Cut crab sticks into small cubes. And put it on pita bread with mayonnaise.

We do the same with pickled mushrooms - cut them into small cubes and place them on the crab sticks.

Wash the lettuce leaves, dry them and place them on top of the crab sticks with mushrooms. The number of leaves depends on their size - we need them to cover the entire pita bread if possible.

We tightly roll the crab roll from the pita bread and pack it in cling film or foil. And then put it in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours to soak.

Before serving, cut the roll into rounds at least 1 cm thick. If you try to make them smaller, you risk getting thin rolls stuffed with crab sticks and mushrooms, which will not hold their shape well and may “fall apart.”

Place the appetizer of pita bread with crab sticks and mushrooms on a dish, decorate with herbs and serve.

Appetizer of lavash with mushrooms and cheese in the oven

Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet of thin pita bread;
  • 100 g champignons;
  • 50 g hard cheese;
  • 0.5 bunch of parsley;
  • 1 egg for greasing the roll;

Preparation:

Cut the champignons into slices and fry in vegetable oil. When the mushrooms are ready, salt and pepper them and cool.

And then cut the mushrooms into small pieces.

Finely chop the washed and dried parsley.

Combine cheese, mushrooms and herbs, place on top of a sheet of lavash.

Roll the pita bread into a tight roll.

And put it in a baking dish. Brush the top of the roll with lightly beaten egg.

Place the baking dish with the lavash roll with mushrooms in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees. We need to wait for the surface to brown - this will happen in 10-15 minutes. This means that the roll is already ready, the cheese inside has melted, and the filling has turned into a thick mass, very tender and juicy.

We take the pita bread out of the oven and cut it into large pieces – 2-3 cm wide.

Appetizer in lavash with mushrooms and fresh vegetables

Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet of thin pita bread;
  • 1 small tomato;
  • 1 small cucumber;
  • 0.5 bunch of parsley;
  • 2 tsp mayonnaise;
  • 50 g hard cheese;
  • 100-150 g champignons;
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil for cooking mushrooms.

How to cook:

We will need thin pita bread - the basis of our snack, which we will roll into a roll. I used 20 x 40 cm pita bread, but if you prefer, you can make this snack from a large 40 x 40 cm square sheet.

Let's prepare the filling. Vegetables – tomato and cucumber – cut into small cubes. Finely chop the parsley. Mix.

Three hard cheeses on a coarse grater.

Cut the mushrooms into slices and fry in vegetable oil, stirring occasionally, until cooked. This is a fairly quick process, due to the fact that champignons do not take as long to cook as, for example, wild mushrooms, you can do it in 10-15 minutes. Then salt and pepper the mushrooms, cool and cut into small cubes.

Grease a sheet of lavash with mayonnaise and place chopped vegetables and herbs on top.

Then a turn of champignons - distribute them over all surfaces of the pita bread.

And lastly, add the hard cheese.

We wrap the pita bread into a roll, trying to do it carefully, but as tightly as possible. Then we pack the roll in cling film or foil and put it in the refrigerator to soak.

After 3-40 minutes, the lavash roll can be taken out and cut into portions.

Baked lavash roll with cheese and mushrooms

Ingredients:

  • Armenian lavash – 1 pc.
  • champignons – 200 g
  • onion – 1 pc.
  • hard cheese – 100 g
  • processed cheese – 100 g
  • any greens - 1 bunch
  • egg – 1 pc.
  • vegetable oil for frying mushrooms
  • salt, pepper to taste

Cooking method:

  1. I washed the champignons, cut them and fried them in vegetable oil along with onions until tender. I salted and peppered them. Grate hard and processed cheeses. I mixed both cheeses. I chopped the greens (I had green onions, dill and a few sprigs of parsley). Read more:
  2. I laid out a sheet of lavash. I placed the prepared mushrooms on top. Then cheese and herbs. I leveled it over the surface, not reaching the edge, so that it would be convenient to wrap it later. I folded the top and bottom edges inward so that the melted cheese would not leak out, then I rolled the entire sheet of lavash into a roll.
  3. Place the rolled roll on a baking sheet lined with parchment. Beat the egg and brush the roll. I preheated the oven to 180 degrees and put the roll in there for 15 minutes. That's it, the lavash roll with cheese and mushrooms is ready! We used it as an addition to a bowl of soup, a cup of tea, and as an independent dish along with fresh vegetables.
