Puff pastry tubes stuffed with condensed milk and nuts

This pastry turns out airy and crispy, and the sweet filling successfully complements the taste of this delicacy. Making puff pastries with condensed milk is quite simple. To do this you will need the following ingredients:

ready puff pastry – 0.25 kg;

chicken egg – 1 pc.;

boiled condensed milk – 1 can;

walnuts – 0.5 tbsp.

How to make a mold for tubes from puff pastry

1. So, if you are the proud owner of tube baking cones, then you are very lucky. I don’t have such cones, so I had to “reinvent the wheel”) To make homemade cones, I took cardboard (an ordinary folder “For papers”), cut out 6 circles with a diameter of 20 cm from it.

2. I cut a radius in each circle and rolled it into a cone, securing the free edges with a stapler.

3. Then I wrapped each piece in baking foil.

At this point, in principle, the preparatory stage is completed.

4. Thaw the finished puff pastry at room temperature. Sprinkle a little flour on the work surface and roll out the dough into a thin layer.

5. Cut the resulting layer lengthwise into 6 strips.

6. We wind each strip in a spiral onto a cone made of foil and paper.

7. Break an egg into a bowl

and beat lightly with a fork or whisk.

8. Grease our tube blanks with egg and place in a preheated room at 200-210 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

9. In the meantime, remove the shells from the nuts

and mix with boiled condensed milk.

11. Carefully remove the cones from the tubes and fill them with condensed milk and nuts. You shouldn’t pack the filling too tightly, as the tubes may turn out too sweet.

Now all the puff pastry tubes with filling are ready, you can drink tea!

This is everyone's favorite cake from childhood. Making puff pastry rolls with cream at home is very easy if you buy ready-made puff pastry and have metal cones on hand for baking them. If there are no blank cones, you can quickly make them from cardboard and foil. Tender, crispy, golden brown puff pastry tubes with delicious cream are a good reason to get together with friends over a cup of tea!

INGREDIENTS:
1 package (500 g) frozen puff pastry dough (preferably in roll form),
150 g butter,
1 can of boiled condensed milk,
powdered sugar for sprinkling

PREPARATION:
1. Thaw the dough according to the instructions on the package.
2. Take metal cones-blanks. If there are none, then you can easily make them yourself from cardboard and foil: roll a bag from a sheet of cardboard or ordinary office paper, cut off the sharp part and secure the paper with a stapler. On the other side, cut the thick part of the bag to the desired length, and then wrap the resulting paper cone with aluminum foil. The workpiece is ready. I got 14 tubes from this amount of dough.
3. Roll out the defrosted dough layer a little and cut lengthwise into 13-14 strips 1.5 cm wide.
4. Wrap long strips of dough around our cones and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment. Try to leave a small edge of the workpiece cone on top so that you can carefully pull it out. Otherwise, the top of the tube may break when trying to remove the workpiece.
5. Grease the dough tubes with water and leave for 20 minutes for the dough to work.
6. Then place the baking sheet with the tubes in the oven, preheated to 190-200 degrees, for 15-25 minutes until golden brown.
7. Next, remove the tubes from the oven, carefully remove the metal cones and place the tubes on a wire rack to cool.
8. In the meantime, you need to prepare the cream. For this:
- beat the pre-softened butter with a mixer until fluffy and white
- Add boiled condensed milk to the butter and beat again until smooth.
The cream is ready.
9. Using a pastry syringe or bag, fill the cooled tubes with cream.
10. Sprinkle the puff pastry tubes with condensed milk cream on top with powdered sugar and put in the refrigerator to cool for an hour.

Serve with tea.
Bon appetit!

Prepare very tasty puff pastries with cream can be done very quickly and easily if you buy ready-made puff pastry and have special metal cones on hand for baking them. Everything else is a matter of technique. In my family, such pastries are in special demand; everyone loves them, especially if the cream is made from boiled condensed milk. To further decorate the taste, I added well-roasted walnuts to the cream, and cut them large enough so that they could be felt well. My puff pastry dispersed within a few minutes. I prepared delicious Turkish coffee for baking, and now I’ll explain why. The photo shows that the straws are lying on a very beautiful saucer, and the coffee is poured into the same cup. This coffee set for two people was given to me by a very pleasant person who came to visit us from Turkey. It's nice to know that you are drinking Turkish coffee from real Turkish dishes. Thank you so much for such an amazing present!

For cooking puff pastries with condensed milk we will need:

  • 0.5 kg puff pastry
  • 100 gr. butter
  • 1/2 can of boiled condensed milk
  • Glass of nuts
  • Yolk

I couldn't resist and I took a picture of the coffee set that was given to me.

Lightly defrost the dough and cut into thin strips (approximately 2 cm).

Roll the dough strips into cones overlap slightly and place on a baking sheet moistened with water.
Lubricate with yolk.

Bake the tubes for approximately 25-30 minutes, at a temperature of 220 degrees, until golden brown.

While our tubes are baking, let's prepare the cream.

Beat the butter with a mixer.

Add boiled condensed milk and beat until smooth cream is obtained.

Be sure to roast the walnuts. I do this in the microwave.
Cut the walnuts into large pieces.

Add chopped nuts to the cream and mix.

Like this cream I did it.

By this time the tubes had already baked.
Remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly.

Carefully remove the metal cones.

Fill each tube with cream. I have a pastry syringe with a special nozzle with which straws Fills in minutes.
If you don’t have a syringe, you can fill the tubes with a small spoon.

The tubes turned out not at all sweet, and a large number of nuts greatly enhanced the taste.

Brew delicious coffee or aromatic tea and treat yourself!

BON APPETIT!

5. We wrap a long strip of dough around our resulting cone. Place on a baking sheet. Moisten with water.

6. Let the dough rise for 20-30 minutes and increase in volume.
