  1. Eggs should be beaten until a light yellow color appears.
  2. Then add sugar and soda, continue beating for about 5 minutes.
  3. Gradually (1-2 tablespoons) add liquid honey and sour cream to the egg mixture. If the honey is not liquid, then it should be heated in advance in a water bath, and then cooled to room temperature. Continue beating until the mixture is smooth and uniform.
  4. Also, add the sifted flour to the bowl with the mixture, spoon by spoon, stirring with a mixer at low speed.
  5. Pour the finished dough into a pre-prepared baking dish (greased with oil and sprinkled with flour).
  6. Place the cake in an oven preheated to 220 ° and bake for about 40 minutes (be guided by the power of your oven, in some cases you need to reduce either the time or temperature).

The readiness of the cake is checked with a toothpick, if after a puncture there are no traces of raw dough on it, then you can remove the form from the oven.

Carefully transfer the cake from the mold to the wire rack, cool, then cut it into three thin cakes. Set aside one (it will be the basis of the cake), cut the other two into large cubes.

  1. To prepare the cream, you need to boil condensed milk in advance (you can use ready-made boiled milk), then beat it, gradually adding creamy or fruit yogurt.
  2. Line a deep bowl or domed bowl with cling film.
  3. Dip the cake slices one by one into the cream and put into the mold until it is full.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining cake with cream or coffee liqueur (you can use cognac), put on top of the pieces in the cream.
  5. Cover the top with clingfilm, press lightly, and refrigerate for a few hours.
  6. When the "Honey Hill" is ready, remove the film, cover the form with a flat plate and carefully turn it over.
  7. Remove the form and the rest of the film and serve, optionally garnished with honey or chocolate chips.

Instead of a cream based on condensed milk, you can take any other: custard, sour cream, creamy, most importantly, it should be liquid, but harden well.

"Honey Hill" with nuts

A completely different Honey Hill cake is made according to a recipe based on the popular chak-chak dessert. Kids especially love this delicacy, so you should definitely cook it for a birthday or other children's holiday.

  1. To make such a simple but very tasty cake, you need to mix about a glass of flour with eggs (3-4 pcs.), Knead a smooth dough and roll it thinly.
  2. The layer should lie down for 10-15 minutes, dry slightly, after which it should be rolled up into a tight roll and cut into strips.
  3. Fry the dough sticks in a pre-heated frying pan in a large amount of vegetable oil.
  4. When they are golden and crispy, transfer to a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  5. Separately, make syrup: mix in a saucepan about 200 g of honey with 2 tbsp. l. water and sugar, put on a slow fire and, with constant stirring, bring to a thickening.
  6. Transfer sticks from fried dough into the finished syrup, mix gently, at this stage crushed nuts can be added to the mixture.

On a flat dish, spread the straws soaked in honey syrup in the form of a slide, slightly crushing them with hands moistened with water. Remove the collected Honey Hill for several hours in the refrigerator, and when it hardens, you can serve it on the table.

This dish will help many to remember the taste of our childhood and introduce it to the current generation. The recipe for "honey slide" is quite simple and obvious. He will not take away from an experienced chef even half an hour.

  3. granulated sugar (two tablespoons);

  4. Soak our straws in a saucepan with syrup, adding nuts to taste. Next, a slide of honey straw is laid out, periodically tamping the honey piles with hands moistened with water so that our structure is sufficiently fastened. Then, refrigerate overnight to harden the masterpiece.

When you see a cake folded in a slide, you don’t understand how you can bake such a delicacy. When the housewives find out the recipe for this pastry, they are surprised how easy and quick it is to cook such a splendor with sour cream or custard.

At the same time, the recipe for the cake itself from which this design is made up can be anything, the main thing is that it goes well with cream and all kinds of additives.

Different types of biscuits for a slide


To begin with, let's imagine an ordinary biscuit for the simplest slide. The only feature of all types of slides is the abundance of cream. Therefore, in order to soak the cake well with cream, a large amount of ingredients is needed for its preparation.

Products needed for a chocolate slide:

  • Wheat flour - 3 tbsp.;
  • Chicken eggs - 4 pcs.;
  • Sour cream - 2 tbsp.;
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp.;
  • Soda - 1 teaspoon;
  • Cocoa - 4 tbsp. spoons.

For impregnation with sour cream:

  • Sour cream - 1.5 liters;
  • Sugar - 2 cups.

Cooking begins in the evening, when you start weighing sour cream for cream. Sour cream should stand in the refrigerator overnight to completely lose excess moisture.

In the morning, you can start preparing dough for the cake, for this we separate the yolks from the proteins and beat the yolks first with half the sugar. When the sugar is partially dissolved in the yolks, add sour cream and beat again. Later, we add soda, which is quenched by lactic acid in sour cream. Sift flour and cocoa. We mix bulk products and add small amounts to the yolk-sour cream mixture. We bring the mass by stirring or beating until smooth and we are engaged in proteins. Whisk the whites first separately, and then gradually add sugar to them. You should get a strong stable foam, which we transfer to the previously prepared dough and gently mix the whole mass with a spatula or spoon.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and bake one large cake, pouring the dough onto a baking sheet covered with baking paper. This cake is prepared for about 30-35 minutes, but since all ovens are different, after this time it is better to check the readiness with a match or a toothpick.

Let the cooked cake cool and at this moment we are preparing the impregnation.

We beat the strained sour cream with a mixer until thick, then we begin to pour sugar into it and continue to beat.

When you have finished with the preparation of sour cream, cut the cooled cake into cubes and begin to collect the cake itself.

The assembly recipe is simple.

You need a dish with small sides so that the cream does not flow out of the limits. We prick each individual piece on a fork and dip in the cream. We spread it in a circle, then we do the same for the second and subsequent layers. You should get an even slide, which we fill with the rest of the cream and sprinkle with any decoration. Can be grated chocolate or crushed nuts.

We leave the cake for complete impregnation for 4-5 hours in the refrigerator, but it is better if it spends the night in cream. Then the pieces will be more juicy, and the cake itself will become softer.

A similar cake recipe is a honey biscuit, since it is not possible to make a slide from thin cakes.

To start preparing a honey slide, you will need a set of ingredients:

  • Honey - 200 gr.;
  • Sugar sand - 3/4 tbsp.;
  • Flour - 2 tbsp.;
  • Sour cream - 250 ml;
  • Soda - 1 tsp;
  • Chicken eggs - 3 pcs.

To prepare the cream:

  • Boiled condensed milk - 1 can;
  • Fruit yogurt - 150 ml.

Since the cake will not be saturated with sour cream, no preparatory work is needed to prepare this honey cake. The only problem is if the cake is baked in winter and you use thick honey, then it is better to melt it a little in a water bath. With natural fresh flower honey in summer, such manipulations are not required.

We start baking by beating eggs with granulated sugar until a good foam is formed, after which we add sour cream and beat again. Sour cream will be followed by summer fresh or winter melted (cooled) honey. Stir or whisk again. Next, add soda, and after working a little with a mixer, we finish the procedure for preparing the dough by adding flour. Flour should be introduced only sifted and in small portions.

When the dough is ready, put the oven on preheating to 200 degrees and start baking the cakes. You can cook one thin cake directly on a baking sheet, covering it with baking paper and another round one in a special baking dish. This round layer is needed for the base of the cake, and a large flat layer cooked on a baking sheet is needed to prepare the slide itself.

We bake two given cakes, each of which is in the oven for at least 35-40 minutes. After removing the cakes from the oven, check for readiness to a clean splinter. It is better to prepare the cream at the moment when the cakes are cooling down, since the process of preparing the cream and its recipe is very simple.

We put boiled condensed milk in a bowl, add a little drinking yogurt and first mix with a spoon, when the mass becomes liquid, we start whisking with a whisk or a mixer. Gradually pour all the yogurt into the condensed milk and beat until smooth.

At this point, we must cut the cooled large layer into small cubes.

There are two build options:

  1. Put a round base, smear it with cream, and then lay out the pieces, dipping each in cream. Pour the rest of the cream on top of the cake and leave to soak for 5-6 hours.
  2. We spread the pieces in a deep semicircular bowl in layers. Fill each layer with plenty of cream. We cover everything with one round cake, pre-coated with cream and leave it in this form for 5 hours in the refrigerator. After this time, turn the cup over and put the cake on a dish and decorate with nuts or sprinkle with raisins.

Honey slide is a very tasty dish of Central Asian cuisine. The minimum number of ingredients, ease of preparation and amazing taste distinguish this dish from other sweets. To prepare a honey slide, we need the following products:
