  • vodka (can be replaced with any other alcohol) - 1 liter;
  • strawberries - 1 kilogram;
  • sugar - 1 kilogram;
  • clean, boiled water - 0.5 liters.

Cooking method:

We carefully sort out the berries, wash and clean from all unnecessary. After we cut it into four uniform parts and put it in a regular three-liter jar.

Pour the selected alcohol to the very top and close our future drink with a lid. Then we leave it on the windowsill, about two weeks.

No acidifier. We need:

  • alcohol 45%, vodka or rum - one liter;
  • kilogram of strawberries;
  • kilogram of sugar;
  • settled boiled water - half a liter.

To begin, rinse and clean the berries, remove the stalks and let drain. Cut lengthwise into three parts and put in a jar (capacity 3 l). Fill the strawberries with alcohol so that it is three centimeters higher than the berries. Putting it on the windowsill, we wait a couple of weeks. If the lid inflates, release the gas.

After a couple of weeks, separate the berries from the tincture. We don't need them anymore. Strain the tincture and make a simple syrup. Mix the tincture with syrup and let the drink brew for another seven days. You can drink. Shelf life - up to one and a half years.

Recipe two

With lime or just lemon. Such a strawberry liqueur at home is also an imitation of Xu-Xu liquor. In order to prepare it, you will need:

  • lemon juice (from half a fruit);
  • strawberries - 0.5 kg;
  • settled water - 200 ml;
  • alcohol (40 degrees) - 0.5 kg;
  • sugar - 250 g.

We sort out the berries, get rid of everything superfluous and wash. Let's give them a chance to run. After we put it entirely in a large jar. Mix alcohol with lemon juice and pour whole berries into it so that they are immersed in the liquid.

Close tightly and wait half a month on the windowsill. After we filter (do not squeeze) and pour into a bottle, leave in the refrigerator. The remaining berries are placed in a jar and covered with sugar.

We are waiting for three days, periodically shaking the jar. We pour the syrup into the tincture, pour water into the jar, rinse and also send it to the tincture. You can strain again. We insist for another five days, wait until a precipitate appears, decant and send it to the refrigerator. Can be stored for about a year.

Important! If you are using frozen strawberries, put them in a frozen jar. Let it thaw while cooking

This way it retains a lot more flavor.

With rum

There are two types of alcohol, so the taste of the liquor is outstanding. For cooking you need:

  • fresh strawberries - 2 kg;
  • a liter of vodka;
  • 700 g of rum;
  • kilogram of sugar.

mix with sugar and vodka. Wash and clean the berries, cut and put in a jar of alcohol. It should be three centimeters higher than strawberries, since the berries will surely absorb alcohol when insisted.

    Well, it's strawberry season. It’s a pity that it lasts only three weeks, but you really want to prolong the taste of summer. So let's do it, but this time we will not make jam or freeze the berry. Let's make a fragrant sweet strawberry liqueur Xu Xu at home. Such a liqueur is prepared simply, and its strength does not exceed 15%.
    We will need fresh or frozen berries, sugar and vodka. It will take no more than 2 weeks to cook, although our active time will need a maximum of 30 minutes. Oh yes, the traditional German liqueur Xu Xu has a slight acidity thanks to lime juice, but lemon juice can also be used at home. From 0.5 kg of berries and 0.5 l of vodka, we will get twice as much liqueur, so determine the amount of ingredients yourself, you may want to cook more or less liqueur.

    By the way, the liquor turns out to be very sweet and fragrant, so it is often used not only as a drink, but also poured over ice cream, added to pastries or fillings. It gives not only taste, but also a great aroma. And of course, if you are preparing desserts for children, then do not add it, even though it is relatively not strong.

Step-by-step preparation of homemade strawberry liqueur with a photo:

Wash the strawberries well and let the water drain. We clean the berries from the stalks and fall asleep in a liter jar.

It is important that the strawberries are completely covered with vodka.

  • And when the sugar has dissolved, we pour the resulting syrup into the previously obtained strawberry infusion.

  • Add 200 ml of cold mineral or boiled water to the jar, shake it a couple of times and filter again to completely drain the syrup.

  • We add the resulting sweet water to the strawberry infusion, cork the bottle with a cap and forget about our liquor for another 3-5 days so that the sediment falls to the bottom and the liquor can be filtered.

    Now strawberry liqueur will become lighter and more transparent.
