What are birch trees. Birch buds, their healing effect, methods of preparation and treatment. What bees know

Birch bud tincture is a mild liquor with a characteristic aroma that is associated with spring. In the assortment of many alcohol producers there are similar tinctures, but it is much better to make a “birch tree” at home and be sure of its quality. Moreover, the recipe is very simple.

On the labels of factory analogues, there is often a picture depicting birch "earrings" that appear in the summer during the flowering of the tree, so many people think that these are the buds.

Brunki (kidneys) are not earrings depicted on the label

In fact, birch buds are young shoots from which leaves appear. They are harvested in early spring (depending on the region in March-May) a couple of days before the leaves appear. When kneaded in the hands, kidneys suitable for tincture should give a pronounced smell.

Real birch buds

You can also buy dried birch buds in a pharmacy, but the aroma of the tincture will not be so bright, and instead of light green you will get a tea color. Fresh is still better.

Ingredients:

  • vodka (alcohol 40-45%, moonshine) - 1 liter;
  • birch buds - 30 grams fresh or 15 grams dry;
  • honey - 2 teaspoons;
  • birch sap - 50-150 grams (optional).

For the preparation of birch tincture, light flower honey is ideal, its replacement with sugar is possible, but undesirable. It is better to use the kidneys immediately after picking from the branches so that they do not stale, then the drink will turn out to be more aromatic. Juice is needed to lower the strength and soften the taste, but it is not necessary to dilute the tincture.

The choice of alcohol base is not critical. Birch buds well ennoble both vodka and diluted ethyl alcohol or moonshine. It is clear that the kidneys cannot correct bad moonshine with an unpleasant odor, only slightly mask the flaws. The best option is vodka.

Birch bud tincture recipe

1. Put the birch buds in a jar, lightly crush with a wooden rolling pin, add honey.

2. After 30-45 minutes, pour in the alcohol base. Mix.

3. Close the jar tightly, put it in a dark place at room temperature for 10-12 days. Shake every 1-2 days.

4. Strain the tincture through 2-3 layers of gauze, squeeze the cake well.

Today, however, as many years ago, tinctures and many other drinks based on various birch components are considered one of the most useful. They are useful for hair, skin and the whole organism as a whole. Initially, they contain a large number of various vitamins, which are combined into a whole complex. Moreover, constantly taking such tinctures, of course, in small dosages, you can easily and quickly heal from any diseases and keep the body in good shape. Traditionally, such tinctures are made on the basis of birch sap, bark, leaves and catkins, and also quite often on brunki and buds.

Traditional tincture of birch buds

Kidneys are very often also called brunki, who is used to it. The use of such a tincture is very common for any colds, problems with the upper respiratory tract, diseases of the kidneys, stomach, as well as in the treatment of tuberculosis at any stage. It is best to collect the buds in early spring, just at the time when they only swell, but have not yet begun to bloom. It is on such brunki that the most useful and tasty tincture is obtained, which, at the same time, is quickly and easily infused. If you use too young, then you can lose many vitamins and other useful substances that they simply have not had time to gain. In this case, collecting them is simply pointless.

Any tincture of birch buds is prepared in different ways, often even with fresh juice, but the process of preparing the same bruneks is always the same - they must first be thoroughly dried, preferably in the open air or, in extreme cases, in a dryer specially equipped for this, which should always be stored temperature not less than +30°C. Only after drying can they be transferred to separate glass containers or bags. To date, a huge number of recipes for tinctures on birch brunkas are known.

Recipe 1.

For its preparation, only 20 g of already dried buds are taken (leaves and a little bark can also be added) and 100 ml of good vodka or alcohol (at least 70%). Brunki should stand in vodka for exactly three weeks in a cool and dark place. It is very important to periodically mix the mass, and at the end of the period, strain it well. Drinking tincture is recommended only before meals in an amount of not more than 20 drops.

Recipe 2.

A very popular recipe and quite common due to its simplicity. For harvesting, 500 ml of vodka is used (you can replace moonshine) and 50 g of dry buds and leaves, you can use a little bark to intensify the taste. Kidneys are poured into a separate container, vodka is poured on top and all this is infused for exactly 10 days. Then the vodka is filtered, after which it is considered completely ready for use.

Recipe 3.

This tincture is not done very long, but in several stages, which must be followed. To do this, take 6 liters of vodka and 200 grams of fresh buds and leaves. Some people prefer not to take the leaves, but they add all the depth of taste to the finished tincture. All cooked buds and leaves are poured into 2 liters of vodka, after which the container is placed in a dark and warm place for 3 days. Then all this is filtered, again poured with the same amount of vodka, and similarly infused. Vodka that has drained should also be stored separately in a dark, cool place. For the third time, the procedure is repeated, only the tincture is no longer 3, but 10 days, after which all the remaining liquids are mixed together and filtered for the last time.

Types of tinctures on birch sap

First of all, it is birch sap that is considered the best basis for the preparation of various tinctures. The most saturated and fragrant medicines and drinks are obtained from the juice. Actually for this reason, there are a huge number of various recipes. In addition, not only tinctures are made on its basis, but also vodka, wine, even liquor and many masks for hair and face in cosmetology.

Recipe 1.

Tincture with the addition of propolis. For cooking, you need to take 200 g of propolis, 1 liter of vodka and some leaves if desired. It is very important to pre-grind the propolis well, then pour it into a jar and pour vodka on top. All this is well mixed and left to infuse for 3 days, while periodically shaking every day. As a result, dilute the tincture with juice, after which it will be completely ready for use, both as a treatment, and for pleasure or prevention.

Recipe 2.

Hair tincture. With the help of this tincture, you can safely make hair and head masks in order to get rid of dandruff as quickly and easily as possible. It is worth adding that such a mask is also very useful for hair, because with its help they become alive and shiny as never before. It is prepared as follows: 2 cups of fresh juice, a small piece of bark, 1 teaspoon of salt and the same amount of honey are taken. Mix it well until the salt is completely dissolved and pour into a dark bowl, pour one glass of vodka there, mix again and leave to infuse for 10 days. After that, the infusion can be applied directly to the head and kept for 40 minutes. For dyed and damaged hair, this is just a real vitamin feast!

Popular tinctures on birch catkins

To prepare a really good tincture, it is very important to take only the male type of earrings. This is important if its use is not only for pleasure, but also as a treatment. By the way, it is worth paying attention that such tinctures are mostly prepared and used just for treatment and they must be taken in very small doses. Birch earrings are very helpful for heart problems, ulcers, and tuberculosis. In order to collect the most useful earrings, you need to start only at the end of spring or at least at the very beginning of summer, but not later.

Recipe 1.

It is necessary to take as many earrings, bark and young leaves so that their number fills 2/3 of the glass container chosen for making the tincture, and exactly 1/3 of the vodka. Earrings and vodka are mixed and left for 21 days until fully infused. By the way, in this recipe a small amount of birch sap is allowed if desired. Keep the tincture until ready only in a dark and cool place. Further use as a treatment is allowed in non-strained form. If you drink it for prevention, it is best to strain, because after a short period of time the tincture will become bitter and lose its original taste. It should be taken only in teaspoons, no more than one per day, previously diluted with water.

Recipe 2.

For preparation, no more than 10 g of earrings and 100 ml of pure alcohol are used. The ingredients are mixed and traditionally stored in a dark place for up to 15 days. The use of such a tincture is always limited only to medicinal purposes at a dosage of not more than 40 drops 3 times a day. The main thing to remember is that the course should last no more than 2 months without a break.

Before preparing any tincture, be it from the bark, leaves and other materials for hair, rubbing or ingestion, it is very important to understand that the pollen and resin of this tree have strong allergenic properties. Therefore, it is better to find out in advance if you have allergies.

Also, another important point is the fact that birch tinctures are taken orally for treatment in small doses. It is important to know this, because only in this case they can be useful to the body, and are not capable of causing harm.

By the way, there are many recipes for tinctures from birch bark in cosmetology for strengthening hair, restoring the freshness of the skin of the face and body. At home, you can simply make knots, for the preparation of which it is enough to take a little bark and boil. With the resulting water, simply rinse your hair, wipe your face and neck, and after a short time the result will be visible!

Dear doctors and healers! Usually, when it comes to treatment with traditional medicine, they mean tinctures and preparations from medicinal herbs. I myself make their stocks for the future and look forward to the onset of summer. I recently learned that in the spring months you can get a "panacea" used to prepare all kinds of healing potions. These are birch buds. I would like to know about what diseases they heal and how to use them in home treatment?

DON'T WAIT UNTIL THE FLOWERS APPEAR:

THE KIDNEYS HELP YOU FIGHT ILLNESS!

Due to the presence of a unique complex of medicinal components, birch buds can be successfully used to treat diseased joints, as a diuretic, choleretic and diaphoretic, simultaneously providing an analgesic effect ...

OThe healing properties of birch have been known for a long time.Especially popular among traditional healers was an alcoholic infusion on birch brunkas. (as the kidneys were called at that time). The people appreciated it for its ease of preparation and velvety-soft taste, using it as a prophylactic, anddoctors prescribed tincture fordiseases of the kidneys, stomachand for rapid wound healing.

“A white birch under my window...” The poet who wrote these lines seemed to be visiting me, because in my front garden there really grow a birch planted once by my grandfather. She has grown decently over the years, which is why a neighbor from time to time tries to convince me to cut down a blond beauty. “It’s dangerous,” he says, “to have such a tree near the house - suddenly a heavy wind will fly in, break off the branches, and if the broken trunk falls on the roof, it won’t seem enough for you!”

Only my hand does not rise to take an ax or a saw and destroy such beauty. So I get off with general promises. Like, let the beauty live, please the eye. After all, cutting it down is a matter of minutes, and growing it takes years and decades.

And recently a friend from the Crimea came to visit me. I saw a birch, and threw up my hands:

Yes, you have, - he says, - under the window a real living pharmacy!

I did not immediately understand what was at stake. I grow greenery in the front garden, but its price is a penny in the marketnyday. There is nothing to be excited about this. And the fact that the acquaintance had in mind a birch, could not have occurred to me.

I, - he says, - came to you in time. Soon the time will come to collect birch buds - so I go to the forestno need to go. You have enough of this goodness. Hope you don't mind?

So, quite by accident, I found out that in the family of my friend,birch buds are called a real panacea. They have been treated since ancient times, and are considered the best alternative to many medicines.

True, in order to procure this raw material in the spring, one has to work hard - to go to the forest where blond beauties grow. And here is a birch - right in the yard.

Of course, I say, take as much as you want, I don’t mind. Just explain why you call birch buds a panacea?

Asked a question and expected to hear a short answer. And as a result, I listened to a real lecture thatonly these spring days provide an opportunity for true experts in traditional medicine to procure raw materials that cure hundreds of diseases

Modern research has confirmed the wisdom of the ancestors. It turns out that due to the presence of a unique complex of healing componentsbirch buds can be successfully used to treat diseased joints, as

In the West, they were well aware of the healing properties of birch trees (buds). Western pharmacologists were particularly interested inrejuvenating effect of alcohol infusion on birch buds and the possibility of their wide application in cosmetics. The main obstacle to the transition to mass production and use of preparations from birch buds was the lack of a sufficient amount of raw materials. As it became known from the recently declassified archives of the Soviet era, a way out of this impasse was found.

In the early 1960s, several meetings of the party leadership of the Soviet Union with the heads of the largest pharmaceutical enterprises took place, at which an agreement was reached on the conditions for the supply of birch buds, which became one of the articles, albeit tacit, of foreign exchange earnings in the country long before active exports abroad oil.

To fulfill the obligations undertaken, a special order was issued on the planned harvesting of birch buds (the word "brunki" was also used in the title). At the end of December, special groups were formed, which for three months - from January to April - were engaged in collecting swollen, but still unblown brunks.

The cut branches were tied into bundles. The next step was drying and packing the material in special containers. But only part of the collected raw materials was exported, since the party leadership of the Soviet Union was itself well aware of the healing properties of birch buds. Raw materials were sent to special pharmacies, where a unique infusion was prepared from them.

Every year in April, the family of my friend goes to the forest to have time to collect white birch buds that have not yet blossomed, as a very valuable medicine.

Dry the kidneys in the open air or in dryers at a temperature of 25-30 degrees. Store them in cloth and paper bags or in glass containers.

Some time ago I succeeded with the help of vodka infusion of birch budsget rid offrom hearing loss second degree. When a relapse occurred a year later, I again resorted to the help of birch buds and my hearing returned. Many of my friends became interested in this experience and asked for more details about the recipe and how to use it.

I will say right away that the idea of being treated is The well-known phytotherapeutist Dr. Dannikov suggested to me with cutting kidneys. In one of his articles, he writes: “Alcohol tincture of birch budssuccessfully curedchronic purulent mesotympanitis - acute inflammation of the middle ear without perforation of the tympanic membrane.

Birch buds insist on 70% alcohol in a ratio of 1:10 for two months, periodically shaking the contents. Alcohol drops are applied in the usual way. After a thorough toilet of the ears, the tincture in a warm form (+ 37 degrees), 3-5 drops, is instilled three times a day.

Birch buds

Water or alcohol infusion of kidneyshas diuretic, choleretic, blood-purifying, analgesic, wound-healing, anti-inflammatory, disinfectant actions. They are cureddiabetes mellitus, thrombophlebitis, diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, etc.

Dr. Dannikov lists the healing properties of birch buds on twenty pages. Evenjoint diseases, rheumatism folk healers healed with the help of birch buds or leaves. Why is this miraculous remedy forgotten today?People very rarely buy birch buds in pharmacies. The answer is simple - general ignorance in the field of traditional medicine. Doctors for the most part also do not know what miracles our simple birch is capable of. I can assume that pharmacists deliberately keep silent about the universal effect of birch preparations - they are too cheap, you can’t make millions of dollars.

That is why the market is overstocked with expensive synthetic drugs, although the chemistry is far from safe for the body.

I'm five minutes to seventy. I am a deep pensioner and I watch with regret how my “colleagues” rush around pharmacies, worry about the fact that they do not get preferential expensive medicines. All these worries only shorten life. Yes, you spit on these preferential medicines, go to the forest in April and collect more birch buds so that it is enough for a whole year.

Prepare a tincture based on birch buds. This is how you heal. There will be more sense. Trust my years of experience .

Birch buds helped cure the stomach!

This remedy for stomach pain is much better than all the advertised pills. It not only relieves a spasm that does not allow you to live in peace, but it also makes a lazy stomach work normally, produce the necessary enzymes and not be “naughty”.

However, many treat the vagaries of their stomach with disdain. I ate something spicy or sour, I felt discomfort in my stomach, and instead of thinking about its reasons, I immediately reached into my pocket for pills.

Apparently, the years of intrusive advertising have not gone unnoticed for many of us. And how could it be otherwise, when on TV almost every day you see a person who has “noise and din” in his stomach and who, after a pill of a magical remedy, is even ready to eat “fried nails”.

Many of us tend to believe in miracles. And advertising "healings" impress us more than the advice of doctors and healers. Perhaps that is why there have been more miracle cures, but for some reason the disease has not become less. And then, after all, it is known that all these “quick” means help for the time being,- until the time, and then the stomach just goes out of control. And then what to do?

I myself fought with this body for a long time, for a long time and without success. They did not shake either medication or diet. I was envied by full friends, they say, it’s necessary, she retained such a figure after marriage and after the birth of two children.

How can I explain to them that it's my fear of food, which causes wild pains in the stomach. You can’t not eat either - this makes it even worse. So I suffered on dietary products, from which my stomach also often hurt.

I found out about the tincture of birch buds by accident. I had heard before that they were very useful, but I did not think that they would help me specifically. It's always like that. You hear about a healing remedy, nod and immediately forget, thinking that it definitely won’t help you.

But then my mother took over my treatment. Her stomach began to churn with age. She increasingly complained of pain, nausea appeared, her appetite disappeared. It is always easier to be treated together, so we got down to this business.

From birch buds for the treatment of the stomach, it is necessary to prepare a tincture.

A teaspoon of dry kidneys is poured into 100 ml of 70-degree alcohol and infused in a dark place at room temperature. The tincture will be ready in3 weeks. It must be filtered and begin to regularly take 20 drops three times a day.day. This dose was enough for me to forget for a long time what a sick stomach is. Up to 70% of Russians suffer from iodine deficiency Flu vaccination dramatically reduced the risk of an epidemic

Moonshine on birch trees

Recipes for making moonshine on birch buds

Moonshine makers have many recipes and secrets with which they give zest to moonshine. Birch brunki will help create a quality product if they are skillfully used.

For such a drink, you will need barely swollen buds that have not yet blossomed. Pluck them from the tree together with young branches. Then the kidneys need to be dried in heat and threshed. There is no difficulty in this, take a twig and hit it on the ground until the buds crumble. You can think of other ways to thresh branches, the main thing is to get the result. Birch buds can also be bought at a pharmacy, or moonshine can be infused on fresh, only plucked brunkas.

1) Recipe 1.

For a classic birch recipe, cook:

  • moonshine - 0.5 liters;
  • kidneys - 50 grams;
  • honey - one teaspoon.

Mix all the ingredients and put in a dark place for ten days. During this time, the drink will acquire color and a pleasant taste. After you strain the tincture, you can try it. The number of kidneys can be reduced. Some add 50 grams per three liters and get a beige, aromatic drink.

2) Recipe 2.

If you want to give the drink a spicy taste, then the second recipe is perfect for you:

  • 40 grams of birch buds need to be crushed in a mortar.
  • Kidneys, five grams of ginger, three grams of ground galangal, two grams of ground cinnamon, pour 350 ml of moonshine and leave for about a month.
  • We carefully filter. So we get the essence we need. It is suitable for ten liters of tincture.
  • We make a drink. To do this, add 30–35 ml of essence and a little sugar per liter of moonshine.
  • Thaw for three or four days.

The tincture will acquire a yellowish color and a sharp, pleasant taste.

3) Recipe 3.

Another recipe will make a nice tincture. Here you will need six liters of moonshine and 200 grams of fresh buds and birch leaves. The leaves will add richness to the taste.

The tincture is prepared in three stages:

  • First, fill the brunki and leaves with two liters of moonshine, leave for three days in a dark place.
  • We separate the liquid, and pour a new portion of moonshine into the kidneys. After three days, filter, separating the liquid.
  • We fill it for the third time, only for 10 days. After that, mix all three liquids and filter them. Tincture on birch trees is ready.

Birch with a mild spring flavor can be prepared using the following ingredients:

  • a liter of moonshine;
  • 30 grams of fresh birch buds; if the kidneys are dry, put half as much;
  • two teaspoons of honey;
  • 50-150 grams of birch sap.

Mash birch buds in a mortar, add honey. After half an hour, fill the raw materials with moonshine and mix thoroughly, put the liquid in a jar in a dark place for ten days. Shake the jar periodically. After that, strain the tincture. If the moonshine turns out to be cloudy, strain it through cotton wool. Do not use immediately, keep the tincture in the dark for another two days.

The kidneys will give moonshine aroma and specificity, and the juice will remove the pungent odor.

The tincture "on brunki" - birch buds - at one time was so popular in our company that we had to introduce a special term: "brunka". The gentle aroma that spreads around the room when opening the next bottle is invariably associated with spring, allowing you to feel it at any time of the year. It would be a sin not to talk about various birch tinctures - with and without additives, especially since the season for collecting buds is very soon!

Tincture of birch buds on vodka is an old drink, very popular among the people. The reasons for its popularity are simple: it does not require exotic ingredients, almost any raw material is suitable - moonshine, vodka, alcohol - and the "brunki" themselves, they are also young kidneys, can be collected for free if you take the time and guess the right moment to collect them. At the same time, this tincture has a wonderful aroma - fresh, interesting, truly "spring", beautiful dark straw color and unobtrusive characteristic taste.

Like many other "drinking" tinctures - for example, the same "" that I wrote about recently - "birch" was originally a tincture, a concentrated medicinal mixture, which was used for a variety of ailments. It helps against diseases of the gastrointestinal tract (it is not unsuccessfully used as an adjuvant for the treatment of ulcers), indigestion, kidney (pun intended!) Puffiness, is used as a diaphoretic, blood-purifying, anti-inflammatory and even anthelmintic agent.

As you know, poison differs from medicine in dosage. This is also the difference between medicinal tinctures and delicious tinctures for a fun pastime with a slight healing and preventive effect. Therefore, we arm ourselves with scales or a measuring vessel and do not throw more raw materials than indicated in the recipe!

First of all - what are these "brunki"? Contrary to popular belief, these are not "earrings" that appear in the summer - they are painted on bottles of supposedly birch "breech" just for beauty.

These are precisely the early, spring buds, from which young leaves will appear later. More precisely, they will not appear, because we will collect them and put them into a delicious tincture.

Brunki are harvested in April-May or even earlier - it depends on the region of your residence, the weather and the species of the tree itself. The main sign is that the buds are noticeably swollen, but are not yet inclined to open, they are resinous to the touch, and if kneaded in the hands, they give a bright, pronounced aroma. Of course, there is always the opportunity to purchase dried and packaged raw materials in a pharmacy. But why, when you can assemble it on your own and be sure of the quality?

If you need some buds, you can just pick them from the tree. In large quantities, they are harvested along with young twigs, dried in a warm, ventilated room, and then threshed - simply pounding the twigs on the ground so that the buds fall off - or passing the branches through a clenched palm - this process has a funny name "sniffing".

Vodka on birch buds - classic recipes

The first recipe is taken from the book of the Soviet poetess and writer - including the culinary one - N. A. Nadezhdina, which is called "50 shades ....", oh, that is, "50 moonshine recipes."

All we need is nothing: half a liter of vodka, 50 grams of kidneys and a teaspoon of honey - best of all, light, flowery. Preparing the drink is extremely simple - all the ingredients are poured with alcohol and set aside in a dark place for 10 days. After that, the tincture is filtered, if necessary - carefully filtered. Everything, it is ready for tasting!

This recipe is given in a huge number of sources, but the moonshiners on the forums who have tried it in action are advised to reduce the weight of the ingredients by two or even three times - up to 50 grams per 3 liters. In this case, the tincture will acquire a beige color and a light aroma, and it will be easier to drink and, which is especially important, will become digestible in large quantities.

Tincture "Birch" named after Bezrukov

Approximately per liter of the final product will need:

  • Alcohol 95-96% - 400 ml;
  • Birch buds - 4 teaspoons;
  • Sugar - 1-2 tablespoons;
  • Birch sap - 600 ml.

To prepare, you need to take the kidneys, pour them with alcohol and stand in a dark place for 2 weeks. After that - strain, discard the kidneys. Take birch sap, pour tincture into it. Add sugar to taste - the drink should not be very sweet, but soft, for convenience it can be pre-diluted in a small amount of heated juice. Shake the mixture and insist again for 10 days. After that, pass through a cotton swab or paper filter. Everything, birch tincture named after Bezrukov is ready!

Spicy tincture on birch buds

In this recipe, in addition to the kidneys themselves, spicy, spicy ingredients are used - ginger and galangal root. Moonshine on birch brunkas is prepared in 2 stages in this way: first the concentrate, then the drink itself. At the output, we get a slightly spicy, pleasant tincture with a yellowish color and a spicy-birch, fresh aroma.

For 10 liters of finished product you will need:

  • Kidneys - 40 grams;
  • ground ginger - 5 grams;
  • Ground galangal - 3 grams;
  • Ground cinnamon - 1-2 grams;
  • Moonshine 50-60% - 350 ml.

To begin with, we crush birch buds in a mortar. We take all the dry ingredients and pour 350 milliliters of moonshine or alcohol. We insist the concentrate for at least a month, after which we drain and carefully, filter several times. Essence for 10 liters of tincture is ready!

To prepare a drink, we take 30-35 ml of concentrate and dilute 40% or vodka in a liter of moonshine, if necessary, add sugar. Let stand for 3-4 days before use. All!

This method is good because it allows you to adjust the saturation of the drink. If it seems to you not concentrated enough, essences can be added at any time. If you overdo it - just add vodka.

This drink was very popular in narrow circles in Soviet times. The recipe is taken from the recipe technological guide and slightly simplified. Read, otherwise I have already met with the opinion that bison and St. John's wort are one and the same.

  3. After that, we filter the liquid again and that's it - the concentrate is ready!
  4. To prepare a liter of Pereyaslavskaya tincture, you need about 50 ml of concentrate and a teaspoon of sugar or honey. We mix everything and try. If you want a more intense drink, add more essences to it.
  5. After the taste and sweetness of the tincture suits you, it must be set aside in a dark place for 3-4 days so that a precipitate falls out. After that, pass through a dense filter and bottle.
