A bushy mustache would be out of place here, but a skipper’s beard from ear to ear would come in handy. Just don’t make it rounded at the top, otherwise your face will appear even rounder. A square paired with a medium mustache or no mustache works well.

An oblong shape with a massive chin does not go well with a skipper's beard. The lower jaw with this shape stands out even more, and the face itself looks too wide. An option is a shaved, rounded shape to smooth out corners.
