Once upon a time, fairy tales were only told aloud, no one wrote them down. The very first creator of them at all times was the people. At first, of course, one person came up with it, told it to someone else, for example, to their son or daughter, and when they grew up, they told their children, etc. When such a fairy tale appeared, it is impossible to say exactly, but nevertheless this time it lived among the people and was told orally.Such tales are called folk tales. Much later, when writing appeared, fairy tales began to be composed and recorded by human writers. These tales are called copyright.

You have cards with the names of fairy tales on your table. If the fairy tale is folk, then put a letter on itH , if the fairy tale is author's, then put the letterA .

Fairy tale "Teremok" from salt dough - a master class for making dolls

Murygina Maria Trofimovna, teacher of MBDOU "Kindergarten No. 34", Ivanovo.
Description: This master class will attract the attention, first of all, of educators and parents of preschoolers.
Salt dough dolls are easy to make, all materials are readily available. Dolls can be made together with older preschoolers.

Purpose: Dolls for the fairy tale "Teremok" can be used in independent games for children, educators - as a visual and didactic material during classes, for example, in the development of speech.

Target:
Making dolls for the fairy tale "Teremok"

Tasks:
- to expand children's understanding of the materials from which puppets for a table theater can be created;
- to form interest in a fairy tale, dramatizations;
- create conditions for the creative development of children.

To create dolls used:

Wheat flour, water, salt, bowl, double-sided tape, cloth, watercolors, brushes, pencils, scissors, clear varnish (used by adults only).

Manufacturing progress

1. Knead the salty dough:

This stage of work is performed exclusively by adults, because. it will be difficult for children to knead the dough.
Wheat flour - 2 cups
Salt "Extra" - 1 cup
Water -3/4 cup

Pour salt into a wide bowl, add water, then flour. Mix everything well. Or, mix the salt and flour well, gradually adding cold water until a homogeneous mass is obtained.
To prevent the salt dough from tearing and crumbling during modeling, it must be well kneaded and kneaded until it becomes elastic. The prepared dough should not stick to your hands or crumble. The dough should be elastic and fairly cool. Put it in a plastic bag so it doesn't dry out.

2. We sculpt dolls from salt dough:
It is very pleasant and easy to sculpt from salt dough. If something doesn't work right away, it's possible to redo it. We carefully put the fashioned heads on pencils and put them in a box to dry. You can dry on a warm (not hot!) Battery for a week.

3. We paint the blanks with paint:
I had professional watercolors, but you can also use regular gouache or watercolor.

4. Varnish:
If you want to get natural matte dolls, then this step can be skipped, but then the dolls will be vulnerable to high humidity. So it is better to cover the products with a colorless varnish. This stage is performed exclusively by adults.

5. "Dress" dolls:
Glue double-sided tape to the wooden part of the doll

Cut out a semi-circle

Attach it with double sided tape

We turn away the fabric and the doll is ready!

Here are the puppets I got:

All the heroes of the fairy tale "Teremok" assembled:

Fascinating and fruitful creativity to you and your kids!

From this unusual material, you can make various souvenirs, and then also paint them. It is strong and durable and can please a person for many years.

How to prepare dough for modeling

From the dough, it turns out, you can not only bake pies and cakes, but also make wonderful paintings, toys and much more. It is easy to sculpt from it, almost like from plasticine, and the dried toy becomes hard and, unlike plasticine, will not melt in your hands. Salt dough makes wonderful and original surprise gifts, and you can prepare such material for modeling quite quickly. In addition, it will not require you to spend a lot of money - everything you need for this exciting work will surely be in your home.

Of course, the composition of this magical dough is different from the one from which grandmothers bake cheesecakes. There is no single, "correct" recipe, each master uses his own. We will try to stick to one of the directions, but if you want, you can experiment with the proportions of water, flour and salt. Only on your hands there should not be cuts and abrasions, otherwise the salt may get into the wound.

For work we need:

- flour - 1.5 cups;

- salt - 1 cup;

- water - 1 glass;

- dry wallpaper paste - 1-2 tbsp. l.;

- sunflower oil - 1 tbsp. l.;

- utensils for kneading;

- rolling pin;

cutting board or any smooth surface

- a plastic bag for storage.

Operating procedure

1. Pour flour and salt into a container and carefully add water little by little (be sure to first flour, then water, and not vice versa, otherwise lumps may form) and mix. If lumps form in the dough, knead them with your hands. So we interfere with the whole dough until it becomes soft and homogeneous in composition.

2. Add sunflower oil to this mass so that the dough does not stick to your hands, and wallpaper glue - so that the dough becomes like plasticine, bendable and elastic. Mix all this again thoroughly and knead the remaining lumps.

3. Now we take the dough and put it on a cutting board. We roll out the dough several times with a rolling pin in order to completely exclude the possibility of lumps.

4. Put the dough in a plastic bag and put it in the refrigerator for an hour. An hour later, the dough is ready to go.

During modeling, you should not immediately take out all the dough from the bag - it will quickly begin to dry out in the air. It is better to pinch off the necessary pieces, and close the rest with a bag. If the dough remains after sculpting, you can put it in the refrigerator - it can be stored there for several days.

If your hands are wet, the dough will stick to them. You have to dust them with flour. And in order to fasten the parts together, on the contrary, you need the dough to be wet. To do this, we wet the parts that we want to glue with plain water and a paint brush.

After the dough figures are molded, you need to dry them, this can be done in two ways.

Method one- just leave the toy at room temperature to dry for 3-4 days or more - it all depends on the size of the toy and the temperature of the room.

Method two- roasting in the oven. We put the toy on a baking sheet and place it in a preheated oven. The temperature should not be very high, it is better to bake on low heat for 30-60 minutes. The figurine is ready when it acquires a light brown tint, but by no means dark.

It is best to paint the toy with tempera or acrylic paints, as they are the most resistant - watercolor will look pale and quickly absorbed, and gouache will leave marks on the hands.

The finished product, if desired, can be coated with a transparent varnish. And remember, although the toys look strong, they are actually easy to break if accidentally thrown on the floor. Therefore, do not leave them on the edge of the table and in those places where they can be easily broken. And glue the salty figures on the frames and pictures securely, so that they do not fall over time.

Explanatory note

Creativity education is the main task of additional education for children. One of the areas of arts and crafts, interesting and exciting for children and adolescents, is testoplasty (modeling from salt dough)

Salt dough has amazing properties: softness, plasticity, ease of use. The technique for working with salt dough is simple. It does not require significant financial costs, does not take much time and does not require special equipment for processing finished products. You can create an infinite number of images from salt dough, each time finding new options and ways of modeling.

Figurines, paintings, panels - everything can be made from salt dough. All you need is imagination, artistic taste and skillful hands. Toddlers are able to sculpt a mushroom, hedgehog, vegetables and fruits, and older children can make compositions from fairy tales or a still life. Adults, having tried this children's fun, do not remain indifferent to it. Works made from salt dough cause admiration and a desire to immediately engage in this work. However, its possibilities become almost unlimited, provided that it is possible to knead the dough correctly.

  1. Organizing time.

Hello. Today our lesson will be devoted to making a picture from salt dough. And guess the topic yourself. Here are the hints.

We are from a fairy tale - you know us.

If you remember - guess!

If you don't remember, well...

Read the story again!

In this book - name day,

There were many guests there.

And on these birthdays

Suddenly a villain appeared.

He wanted to kill the owner

Nearly killed her.

But the insidious villain

Someone cut off his head.

("Fly Tsokotukha").

Who didn't want to work

Did he play and sing songs?

To the third brother then

We ran into a new house.

Saved from the sly wolf

But they shook their tail for a long time.

The story is known to every child.

And it's called ... ("The Three Little Pigs").

People are surprised:

The stove is on, the smoke is coming,

And Emelya on the stove

Eating big rolls!

Tea pours itself

At his will,

And the story is called...

("By magic").

With Piglet he goes to visit,

He loves honey, asks for jam ...

Who is it, say it out loud!

Bear cub ... (Winnie the Pooh).

And the theme of our lesson is "Heroes of the animated film."

On the tables you have the material from which we will make crafts and tools with the help of which we will decorate.

Salt Dough Safety Rules(work with a knife, scissors and a gas stove)

When working with salt dough, avoid getting crumbs and hands in your eyes. - The distance from the eyes to the product or part should be an average of 30 cm.
- Before work, put a bandage or adhesive plaster on cuts and scratches - When working with a knife, the knife must not be held by the blade, as the knife may be sharp and you can cut yourself.
- If you work together, then you should pass the scissors rings forward.
- You need to store scissors in a special case.
- When working with scissors, do not lean on the table, as this could damage your eyes.
- Since work from salt dough needs to be dried in a warm place for 5 hours, a gas stove (oven) is well suited for this.
- An oven preheated to 50-80 degrees Celsius, which means that when pulling out the product, you need to use an oven mitt.

Workplace preparation

The place for modeling should be perfectly even, because the slightest unevenness after varnishing will become very noticeable and spoil the look of the product. The front side of the craft should also be flat, so practice on a small piece of dough before starting work.
Cover a baking sheet with foil for baking, after moistening it with water using a sponge or cloth. This will prevent the foil from sliding over its surface. After you cover the baking sheet with foil, remove excess liquid. This can be done with a ruler, comb or spatula, running them along the edge of the foil and gradually expelling water from under it. The surface of the foil must be absolutely flat.
If you have already prepared a frame into which you insert the craft, then you can immediately make markings on the foil by outlining the inner perimeter of the frame with a ballpoint pen. This will help you define the boundaries of the craft.

2. Repetition of the material covered.See what kind of work can be done with salt dough. The work is being done in stages. Let's repeat the stages of work (Presentation of the lesson in Power Point

Dough preparation

Sketching a Story

Product modeling

Product drying

Bonding the product to the base

Product painting

Product varnishing (optional)

3. Practical work.

"We will become wizards

If we only want to.

We fantasize ourselves

Let's make miracles."

We will work in groups. Each group will complete the choice of their hero and complete a picture with a plot from their cartoon

In the group, each of you will think and choose for himself what object he is or what character from the selected animated film he will make. So that as a result you get a plot.

The work should be neat, finished with an interesting solution for the composition.

Children work independently, light music sounds. The teacher approaches each student, helps if necessary and gives advice on work. (Appendix 2)

  1. Exhibition of children's work.

discussion of the work done;

the teacher's answers to the questions that have arisen;

combining all the completed parts into a panel.

“Well done. See what interesting and varied work we have done. Everyone did a good job. By the next lesson, your dough products will dry, we will continue to work on them - we will color them.

5 . Homework.

Make color sketches for your work. Bring gouache, brushes, varnish.

dough recipe

Mix in a bowl 2 cups flour, 1 cup fine salt and add 1 cup water in small portions. Mix well. The dough should be soft and very plastic, pleasant to the touch. (You can add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, but slightly reduce the water - then the dough is more elastic.)

Coloring dough and ready-made crafts

Coloring the dough while kneading. After the flour is mixed with salt, you need to divide the resulting mass into several portions and add tinted water to each. By coloring portions of the mixture with different colors, we get different colors of salt dough. You can use food coloring, gouache as a dye. After kneading, the dough should be laid out in plastic bags or plastic containers by color.

Test Tips

Here we list the most important points of working with salt dough, which will help to avoid possible difficulties when making even the very first products.

1. The dough should be stored in a tightly closed container or a plastic bag in the refrigerator for 1-2 days, but no more.
2. If the dough sticks to your hands, you need to add a little flour to it.

3. When making colored dough, leave a small piece of uncolored dough so that it is easy to get different shades of the colors used.
4. You can make beautiful marble dough. To do this, add a little paint to the white dough and do not stir it to the end.
5. If the dough has become soft after storage, add a little flour to it.

6. Add a little PVA glue to the dough for making small parts, then the parts of the composition will be easier to glue together.

7. The dough that has lain in the refrigerator for a day will be different from the one just cooked, especially after drying. This can be used in the manufacture of crafts. If you do not want different parts to differ from each other, put an old piece of dough inside the product.
8. If the dough is dry, you need to add a little vegetable oil to it - this will restore its elasticity.
9. It is better to use the dough the next day after preparation, as its quality improves during storage.
10. If, after drying, some part has separated from the product, it is easy to glue it with PVA glue.
11. To master basic modeling techniques, practice on a small piece of dough.

12. If cracks appear on the dried product, dilute the PVA glue with a small amount of water and rub this mixture into the crack.
13. Further, on the details, you can draw, write, sculpt all kinds of images using various devices.
14. The relief must be performed immediately after rolling, otherwise dips will remain in the dough layer. To perform embossed patterns, it is possible to use a variety of objects. For example, with one side of the felt-tip pen cap you can make small circles, and with the other side you can depict snowflakes.
15. If you are making a pendant, then a hole should be made in the raw product using a cocktail straw. In a dried craft, this will no longer work.
16. Remember that there should be no cracks or wrinkles on the front side of the craft.
17. Beautiful prints can be made on the dough by pressing buttons, spikelets, herbs, embossed fabrics or lace into its layer. It is also easy to put a blade of grass or spikelet on the dough, roll it on top with a roller and carefully remove the object with tweezers. The dough should be elastic and dense. In a soft test, clear prints will not work.
18. Convex reliefs can be obtained by pressing the dough into a mold with a recess, after sprinkling flour on its surface so that the dough does not stick to it. Remove the part from the mold very carefully so as not to damage it.

19. The ball is made by rolling a piece of dough in a circular motion between the palms.
20. Having flattened the ball, you will get a cake. You can do this right on the craft. 30. If you pinch the ball on one side and pull out this protrusion, slightly turning the workpiece, you will get a drop.
21. The tourniquet is formed by rolling the dough between the palms. If at the same time you press a little harder on one end, you will get a cone.
22. To make a ribbon, you need to roll the tourniquet with a pencil or flatten it with your fingers. The ribbon can be assembled into a spiral or a beautiful ruffle.
23. Fingers on the arms and legs of the figurines can be made by squeezing straight lines with a knife, eyes - with a sharply sharpened pencil, a smile - with a teaspoon or a cap from a fountain pen attached at an angle.
24. If you want to insert beads into the product, it must be glass, as plastic beads will melt when dried in the oven.
25. If you need to connect parts, one of which is already dry, first moisten it with water using a soft brush.
26. Inside large products, you can make a frame, the role of which will be successfully handled by balls of crumpled foil, tied with tape, or jars and cups.
27. Some products require an external frame.

28. If the main part of the product is a thick large cake, the craft will turn out to be very heavy and will not bake well. In addition, its surface is quite difficult to make even. To avoid all these problems, crumple a piece of foil (you can use used foil) and place it inside a large piece of salt dough. Then roll in your hands and flatten to make a flatbread. After that, roll out the second cake - 1.5 times more than the first and 3-4 mm thick. Moisten the first cake with water and wrap the second cake - your base is ready.
29. Sometimes you first need to sculpt individual parts and dry them a little, and only then make everything else. Then the dried parts are glued to the entire product later with the help of water.
