Apple juice with orange. Recipes for making orange juice. How to make apple juice

Apple jam is wonderful on its own. I personally love it for its thickness and rich aroma. But if you add orange juice to the jam, you will get a real confectionery masterpiece. Since our grandmothers still made apple jam and knew the wisdom, they cannot surprise us.

After the 90s, oranges began to be sold in a wider range, and it was already possible to cook something delicious from them. At first we just ate them and couldn’t get enough of them, but now we started using them in a rather unusual form, so apple jam with orange juice for the winter, an instant recipe, is considered a novelty.

All my friends are vying with each other to ask for the recipe, so I decided to immediately share with everyone and offer my recipe. If you don’t have time to prepare, prepare it like this.

Required products:

- 1 kg. apples;
- 200-300 grams of oranges;
- 600 grams of granulated sugar.

I squeeze juice out of oranges. For one kilogram of apples you should get a glass of juice. This amount is enough for jam.

I peel the apples to cut off all the peel and remove the center. One of my good friends once gave me advice: even if you don’t have time, still find it, spend more time, but cut off the peel, because the peel is in no way suitable for apple jam! If this is not done, then consider that the entire recipe is spoiled and the apples were wasted. Since then I have not been lazy and have done just that. I cut the peeled apples into thin slices or small cubes.

I dissolve all the sugar in hot orange juice and stir so that the sugar does not settle at the bottom and melts completely. This also turns out very tasty.

I put apples in hot orange juice.

Simmer over low heat for about 40 minutes until the apples are completely soft.

I put hot jam with orange aroma into jars. I'm sure you'll definitely like this too.

I screw the lids on the jars and leave them to cool under a blanket. While apple jam with orange juice for the winter, an instant recipe, cools, it will thicken even more and will be like marmalade.

Bon Appetite!

Homemade apple juice cannot be compared with store-bought analogues, as it turns out much tastier and without any doubt healthier. Having eaten plenty of fresh apples from the new harvest, having prepared jam and compotes for future use, you can safely begin the process of creating another especially valuable drink.

Anyone who has made juices from fruits and vegetables at home at least once will no longer buy store-bought products in beautiful bags. Because, apart from colorful packaging, there is nothing in them: no taste, no benefits. And homemade juice has a bright color, it is thick and the taste is very intense. When I drink it, I feel how rich it is in microelements and vitamins. There is simply no comparison with juice from a package. Also note that most store-bought juice labels say “reconstituted.” This means that the concentrate was diluted with water. No, I won’t drink such juices anymore. And I invite everyone to make homemade carrot-apple-orange juice with me.

Ingredients:

  • 1 carrot weighing about 200 g;
  • 1 Idared apple;
  • half a ripe orange.

How do I make juice

I peel the apple, wash the carrots thoroughly and peel them too. Next, I take a grater with the smallest holes and grate the apple and carrot on it (I do this in a bowl). If they are very juicy, the juice will flow out of them immediately. Mix the resulting carrot and apple puree until smooth.

Now I take this puree in small portions and manually squeeze the juice out of it into a cup. The amount of juice obtained will depend on how juicy the products were taken for its preparation. In winter, carrots are not so juicy, and to make juice you will need to take not one root vegetable, but two. Apples also vary; some varieties contain a lot of juice, while others have dry flesh.

Carrot-apple juice is ready. Now I'll take on the orange. To make juice, I need a large and sweet fruit. Sometimes oranges are not ripe enough and therefore they are not sweet, but sour. You need to choose fruits with a bright orange color. So, I cut a large orange into 2 parts, squeeze it on both sides and get the juice, which I add to the already prepared carrot-apple juice.

Homemade carrot-apple-orange juice is ready. Those with a sweet tooth can add sugar to it, but I think it's very good as is. Especially if you take enough ripe fruits and sweet carrots for him. It should be borne in mind that there are varieties of carrots with a slight bitterness. This is most likely a fodder carrot. It is best, of course, to make juice from root vegetables grown in your own garden. But since I don’t have a personal plot, I do this: when I come across tasty and sweet carrots at the market, I take more of them, make reserves, so that I can later make juices from them.

From the listed products I get one glass (200 ml) of homemade delicious juice. My cooking method is convenient to use when you need to quickly make one or two servings of juice. This method is suitable for a large family; for this you will need a juicer. From the remaining carrot-apple pulp I then make a puree with sugar or use it to make caviar with zucchini, which I also grate on a fine grater.
