Option 4: Puff bagels with cottage cheese and raisins

Ingredients

  • 400 g dough;
  • 40 g raisins;
  • 1 yolk;
  • 40 g sugar;

Step by step recipe

Very tasty and appetizing bagels can be made with sweet curd mass, you don’t need to add anything to it except the yolk. It is needed to hold the mass together.

Option 5: Puff pastry bagels with poppy seeds

An interesting version of bagels. No one will guess that they are made from store-bought puff pastry. All thanks to the poppy. It is used for filling along with granulated sugar.

Ingredients

  • 500 g dough;
  • 6 tablespoons melted butter;
  • 1 egg;
  • 40 g poppy seeds;
  • 70 g sugar.

How to cook

Take small or large sugar, combine with poppy seeds, stir. Melt the butter and measure the specified amount. You can cook bagels with vegetable oil, you will need less of it, but we use an odorless product.

Roll out the dough, make two or three squares, as it turns out. Or cut it straight into squares and then into triangular pieces. Grease with oil and sprinkle with a mixture of poppy seeds and sugar. Roll bagels with poppy seeds inside. Pinch the tip tightly, the corner should not stick out.

Transfer all the puff pastry poppy seed bagels to a baking sheet. Beat the egg (you can use only the yolk without the white), brush it on top. Sprinkle with sugar if desired. Bake until done.

You can wrap swollen raisins, chopped dried apricots or other dried fruits in bagels together with or instead of poppy seeds. It will also work great with nuts; they are also good for filling and seeds.

Option 6: Puff bagels with apples “Taste of childhood”

Any baked goods with apples are worthy of respect, especially bagels. Using this recipe we get incredibly tasty and aromatic delicacy. At the same time, it is prepared quickly, the filling is very simple, the dough does not need to be kneaded, we take it from the store. Cinnamon optional. If you don't like its scent, you can exclude it.

Ingredients

  • 300 g dough;
  • 1 large apple;
  • 1 tbsp. l. powdered sugar;
  • 70 g sugar;
  • 1 yolk;
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon powder.

How to cook

The apple does not need to be peeled if it has a thin skin, otherwise it is better to cut off the skin. Next, cut it into neat slices, bypassing the middle. We need as many pieces as there will be bagels.

Roll out the dough, cut into fairly large triangles, the apple slice should easily fit at the base. Mix cinnamon with sugar and sprinkle on top of each apple. Cover with dough and wrap several times to form a bagel. Do not turn the apple over; the sugar should remain on top of it.

Brush the bagels with yolk, place in the oven and cook for twenty minutes. The apple should be baked, just like the puff pastry.

You can wrap a pear, banana, or any other fruit in each bagel. Works great with berries. The bagels will be even tastier if you add a teaspoon of sweet curd mass to each.
