Fried pies with jam. Fragrant pies with jam in the oven

Airy, light, incredibly soft, tender and fantastically tasty pies can be prepared with absolutely no effort, so to speak, just add milk and get pies! Milk pies are distinguished by their particularly tender and soft dough, elasticity and they remain fresh for a long time. Butter will make the baked goods more satisfying and tasty, and the pies will smell fragrant wonderful aroma for the whole house. And the filling made from apple, apricot, plum or berry jam is simply fabulously tasty - not pies, but pure pleasure: how delicious, like blush! But the most important thing is that it is quick and easy to prepare, in the oven, so to speak.

We need half a liter of delicious milk (boiled, if homemade) and most importantly, the milk should be warm. It is warm and in no case hot, this is important. Pour milk into liter jar(it’s convenient to carry out the fermentation process in this container; there’s plenty of space).

Next, separate a glass of warm milk and dilute fresh pressed yeast in it (yeast also produces an ideal nourishing mask for the face!!!) add a spoonful of sugar and wheat flour (feed the yeast) so much so that the mixture looks like liquid sour cream. When everything is ready, return the milk from the glass to the large one. liter jar, mix everything and leave for a while in a warm place. The mass should sizzle and increase in size (it will take 30-50 minutes for everything).

Meanwhile, whisk the eggs and sugar until smooth and the sugar crystals dissolve.

Sifting wheat flour several times (the flour is saturated with oxygen and becomes very fluffy and airy), add a pinch of salt to a bowl convenient for kneading and vanilla sugar. Carefully pour the yeast mixture from the jar into the flour, add the eggs mashed with sugar and mix a little. We also introduce liquid butter or margarine (you can melt it over a fire). Now knead the dough thoroughly so that it absorbs all the flour and does not stick to your hands (if necessary, add a little flour, but not much).

Cover the finished dough with a kitchen towel and leave it to rest for an hour and rise.

Then we knead the dough with our hands, make a sausage out of it, so to speak (as in childhood from plasticine))) and cut it into even, identical pieces. Roll out each piece with a rolling pin into a flat cake, and there will be a future pie.

Place a teaspoon (teaspoon) of thick jam in the middle of the pie crust and pinch the edges tightly and firmly so that the jam does not run away. For fastening strength, you can lubricate the edges of the cake sweet water or a beaten egg, then 100% of the filling will not come out. I recommend not making the prepared flat cakes large, then the pies will look more neat and aesthetically pleasing.

We place the preparations on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil, with the pie seam down, giving an appetizing and beautiful shape product. We leave the pies to rise for about 30 - 40 minutes, covering the deco with a towel. Turn on and preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Brush the risen pies with egg and bake in the oven for 20 - 25 minutes. Let the pies cool and serve with, or Bon appetit!

For the pies you will need:

  • Milk 0.5 liters
  • Wheat flour 1 kg.
  • Pressed yeast 60 gr.
  • Sugar 200 gr.
  • Salt ½ tsp.
  • Butter 200 gr.
  • Eggs 3 – 4 pcs.

Pies with jam in the oven are easy to prepare if you have some in stock good recipe. I always use the same recipe, which I have tested many times. The dough turns out soft, airy and exactly as it should be. If you can’t find a recipe for yourself, then try using mine. The ingredients for the dough are simply basic: flour, eggs, water, milk, sugar and butter. Also the main ingredient is raw yeast, which I always use for baking. I make sure to check the expiration date of the yeast to make sure it is in order. For the filling it is convenient to use thick jam, for example, which housewives always have in their bins. Thick jam always remains inside the pies and does not leak out anywhere. Sweet and tasty pies will become a real treat for the whole family. So arm yourself with mine step by step recipe with photos and cook pies with jam in the oven to your heart’s content!

- 580 grams of wheat flour,
- 70 grams of butter,
- 1 egg into the dough and 1 yolk for greasing,
- 100 grams of milk,
- 150 grams of water,
- 15 grams of raw yeast,
- 2 pinches of salt,
- 150 grams of granulated sugar,
- 150 grams of thick jam.

Recipe with photos step by step:

Add yeast to the water to begin preparing the dough. It is better to heat the water so that it becomes more or less warm. In this environment the yeast will be very active.

Add granulated sugar so that the dough and yeast begin to work.

Prepare the dough, stir it several times until the sugar and yeast dissolve, then leave it for 20 minutes to rise.

Pour into lush dough melted but now cooled butter, then immediately beat in one egg. For getting homogeneous mass, mix the dough.

Pour in lukewarm milk and add flour. If you are not sure about the manufacturer, it is better to sift the flour through a sieve.

Knead the dough until it is moderately thick. Let it stick slightly to your hands. Later it is better to add more flour while modeling.

Let the dough rise, ideally 3 times. After 40-50 minutes the dough will rise and be fluffy and tall. It will take up the entire container it is in.

Dust the board with flour and divide the dough into approximately equal parts to form a pie from each.

Flatten the dough with your hands to form a circle and place the jam filling in its center. If the dough sticks too much to your hands, add flour to your hand.

Pinch the pies by running your fingers along the edge several times.

Place the resulting pies seam side down and let rest for 15 minutes. They will rest a bit and rise. The dough must rest well before baking so that the product comes out fluffy.

Place the risen pies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and brush each pie with chicken yolk.

Bake the pies in a preheated oven until beautifully golden brown. On average, baking takes 25-30 minutes. It is better to set the oven at medium temperature (180-190°) so that the pies are evenly baked.

Knead the dough with your hands. It should be soft enough and stick to your hands a little. Knead the dough as you add flour, you may need a little more or less. It depends on the quality of the product. Cover the bowl with the dough with a towel and place in a warm place to rise.

The finished dough should increase in volume several times. Place it on the work surface and knead it with your hands. If the dough is sticky, grease your hands and board with vegetable oil or sprinkle with flour. Form it into a long, plump sausage and cut it into small pieces. Adjust the length and width yourself, depending on the desired size of the finished pies. Don't forget that the products in the frying pan will increase several times!

Using a rolling pin, roll each piece of dough into a flat cake.

It's time for the filling. You can use absolutely any jam that you like or even thick jam. Place about a teaspoon of filling in the center of each piece. Do not overdo it, otherwise during frying the jam will begin to flow out and burn.

Pinch the edges of the pies well to form a dumpling. Then give it a more even shape.

Heat up the frying pan with vegetable oil. Ideally, the pies should be deep-fried, but not everyone has this opportunity. Therefore, pour in as much oil as you think is necessary, adding more if necessary. Place the pieces in hot oil, seam side down.

Fry on both sides over medium heat until nicely golden brown. One batch takes about 4-5 minutes to cook. Ready-made pies Place on paper towel to remove excess grease.
