Ingredients: 200 gr. dried seaweed, 100 gr. chicken fillet, a clove of garlic, a teaspoon of soy sauce, 0.5 tsp each. seasonings khmeli-suneli and red ground pepper, 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil.

How to cook. Immerse the seaweed for 2-3 hours in cold water, then wash thoroughly. If it is leafy, then cut into pieces and roll into a tube, then cut into thin strips. Rinse again. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry cabbage. Add seasonings, chopped garlic and soy sauce. Simmer for 15-20 minutes. Boil or fry chicken meat, cut into pieces and add to cabbage.

Cabbage soup

Ingredients: 500 gr. pork, 30 gr. dried seaweed, one carrot, one onion, sour cream to taste, vegetable oil.

How to cook. Pour dried cabbage cold water in a ratio of 1:8 (for one part cabbage 8 parts water). Rinse thoroughly, add water again, let it boil and cook for 20 minutes. Drain the broth. Pour over cabbage warm water, bring to a boil again, cook for another 20 minutes and drain the broth again. Repeat the process again. With such preparation, not only does it improve appearance cabbage, but also its taste, excess iodine is removed.

Cut the meat into pieces, fry in oil. In the fat that will be released when frying the meat, sauté chopped seaweed, onions and carrots. Then cook the cabbage soup as usual; when serving, place a spoonful of sour cream and pieces of meat on a plate.

Sea kale vinaigrette

Ingredients: 150 gr. pickled seaweed, 3-4 potatoes, 3 carrots, 3-4 beets, 1-2 pickles, 1-2 onions, 1-2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil and 3% vinegar. Add salt, sugar and black pepper to taste.

How to cook. Boil beets, carrots and potatoes (preferably in a double boiler), cool, peel and cut into cubes. Finely chop the onions and pickles. Mix everything with seaweed. Season the vinaigrette with vegetable oil, vinegar, salt and pepper, and add a couple of pinches of sugar. Let it brew for a while and serve, sprinkled with finely chopped green onions.

Canned seaweed salad

Ingredients: a jar of canned seaweed, half a jar canned corn, 1 onion, 1 fresh cucumber, 1 tomato, 2 boiled eggs, vegetable oil. Salt, garlic, lemon juice and mayonnaise to taste.

How to cook. Finely chop the onion and sauté in oil. Finely chop the cucumber, tomato, eggs. Mix all ingredients, add salt and pepper a little. Pour over lemon juice (you can do without it) and season with mayonnaise.

Salad with seaweed and mushrooms

Ingredients: 300 gr. mushrooms (oyster mushrooms, champignons, honey mushrooms), 2 onions, 1 carrot, a jar of canned seaweed, 3 eggs, vegetable oil for frying, fresh herbs.

How to cook. Finely chop the mushrooms and onions, grate the carrots on a coarse grater. First fry the onion in oil, then add the carrots, after about five minutes add the mushrooms. Cook over low heat until the liquid from the mushrooms has evaporated. Place seaweed (without filling) in a salad bowl, add cooled vegetables with mushrooms and finely chopped boiled eggs. Mix everything, if desired, you can season the salad with mayonnaise and sprinkle with herbs.

Seaweed salad with rice

Ingredients: 400 gr. seaweed, 0.5 cups boiled rice, 3 eggs, 1 onion, mayonnaise to taste.

How to cook. Finely chop the onion. If you don't like the taste raw onion– sauté it in oil. Boil the eggs, cut as for a salad. Cut the seaweed into not very long strips. Mix everything and season with mayonnaise to taste.

Sea kale salad - a simple and healthy recipe

Seaweed salad with egg is very filling and healthy. It can be served at the children's table.

Ingredients:

  • chicken egg – 6 pieces;
  • canned seaweed – 470 g;
  • onion – 1 piece;
  • mayonnaise on quail eggs – 110 g;
  • cow's butter – 13 g;
  • salt to taste.

Preparation:

  1. Place chicken eggs in a deep saucepan, add cool water and cook for 7 - 9 minutes. Remove from boiling water, place in ice water and wait for eggs to cool. Peel, grate and mash.
  2. Peel the onion and chop into small slices. Pour into a hot frying pan greased with oil and fry for 2 - 3 minutes.
  3. Remove the canned seaweed from the jars, stir, and drain off excess water.
  4. Place cabbage, onions and grated eggs. Pour quail egg mayonnaise on top. Mix all ingredients thoroughly with each other. Add salt if desired.

Mayonnaise can be substituted sour cream sauce or fresh cream. It is recommended to serve the dish garnished with cranberries or a sprig of cilantro.

Korean cooking recipe

The dish turns out to be spicy and spicy, ideal for a men's feast or bachelor party. Can be served with boiled potatoes or rice.

I was interested in the topic of seaweed and how to turn dry cabbage into edible one. I looked at different sites and various tips and chose for myself the most acceptable, and in my opinion, the most useful. (I dismissed recipes that suggested boiling dry seaweed, and even for 40-50 minutes after boiling, as unacceptable, because after boiling useful minerals and there will be very little vitamins left there).

How to cook dry seaweed?

1. Take the seaweed and place it in a deep cup. We rinse it thoroughly under running water several times so that the water becomes clean and the sand is gone.
2.After we have washed the cabbage, fill it with slightly warm water and leave it to swell. This is why you need a deep cup, because the cabbage will increase in size by one and a half times. Therefore, if you are cooking for four servings, then 100 grams of cabbage will be enough.
3. After 15 minutes, and some cabbage is kept in water longer, you need to put it under running water again and then we transfer the sea cabbage to a colander so that all the water drains.
4. While the water is draining from the cabbage, thinly slice the onion into half rings and fry it in vegetable oil until soft. And turn down the fire.
5.Add a pinch of red hot ground pepper, ground paprika and finely chopped garlic to the onion. Let the taste of all the spices and garlic come out. Fry like this for 2 minutes, stirring constantly over low heat.
6. While we are frying the onions, the water will not have time to drain from the cabbage, so before adding it to the fried onions, you need to squeeze it out well so that the moisture content is as low as possible. Fry this, mixing the cabbage and onion well for about 5 minutes over medium heat until you hear a characteristic hissing sound. All this time, we periodically stir the seaweed so that the cabbage mixes and absorbs the taste of all the spices. At the very end of frying, we add salt to taste, two tablespoons of soy sauce and ground coriander seeds.

Soak dry seaweed for several hours. Better for the night. Soaking time up to 2 hours to 8 hours. Next, cut the algae with scissors, rinse very thoroughly in 3-4 waters so that the sand settles to the bottom, transferring each time to a colander. The last water must be potable. It is advisable to rinse before this, at least with settled water (and not chlorinated tap water). Place in a colander and let the water drain.

Preparation:

    1. Laminaria seaweed – 1 kg.
    2. Onion – 1 head.
    3. Garlic – 5 cloves.

2. Finely chop the onion and garlic. Add onion, garlic and spices to the cabbage. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and also add it to the cabbage.
3. Mix everything well and taste it and add spices if you think something is missing.

Add grated carrots to the onion and, continuing to stir, fry the vegetables. They don’t need to be cooked for long; as soon as the onions are slightly browned, remove the pan from the heat. Remember that onions and carrots should not be fried in the usual sense, they should only be steamed a little.

  5. Boil two or three chicken eggs hard. Before doing this, warm them up room temperature if you took them out of the refrigerator. Heating eggs is very simple - put them on a plate and place them on the table, after half an hour the eggs will no longer be cold. You need to cook them in salted water and immediately after cooking transfer them to a container with ice water. Peel the cooled eggs and finely chop them.

  6. Choose a deep cup or pan to mix all the ingredients for the future dried seaweed salad. Season with salt, add some of your favorite seasonings, and a few cloves of garlic, peeled and pressed through a press. Mix well. if you love spicy salads, you can add a mixture of peppers to this dish.
