To prepare chocolate waffles, then, in principle, you can add cocoa powder to any waffle dough. For good chocolate flavor Cocoa powder should contain 90% cocoa beans.

The thickness of the dough and the ingredients used in it also change the cooking time: a portion of waffles with butter will be ready in less than 1 minute, and waffles with milk or kefir - in a few minutes.

If you have a new waffle iron, then to prevent the dough from sticking in it, add potato starch- one tablespoon or two is enough vegetable oil. Of course, it’s much easier to cook homemade waffles in a waffle iron, but if you don’t have one, you can do it in a frying pan. It needs to be lubricated with oil and warmed up well. Then spread the batter over the frying pan and bake the waffles over low heat so that they dry rather than bake. Waffles take longer to cook in a frying pan than in a waffle iron, but they turn out just as tasty.

To make the waffles beautiful and golden, you need to add one teaspoon of turmeric to the dough.

To prevent the finished waffles from softening and sticking together, do not place them hot on top of each other.

Hot thin waffles can be rolled into a tube (using a knife and a napkin so as not to get burned) and filled with protein cream when they cool, and you can cook with soft waffles.

1. Beat 1 egg with 70 g sugar
2. add 100 g of melted butter and stir
3. pour in 200 ml of milk and 300 ml of water (if there is no milk, then 500 ml of water) and mix again
4. gradually add 2 cups of flour and mix everything again

Pour about half a ladle onto a preheated electric waffle iron and bake. Roll the hot waffles into a tube and fill them with filling.

1. Separate the whites and yolks of 3 eggs
2. beat the whites until thick foam
3. Mix 1 cup flour with 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
